Crowpaw, Ravenpaw, Flamepaw, Ashenanarchy, Fireclaw, Pinestep, Poppyclaw, Solartail, Leopardfang [step-in deputy] [atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=171717] the count;; 233 the cat;; Shadestar the involved;; ShadowClan the notes;;
Shadestar looked behind him, at his following cats. Crowpaw, Ravenpaw, Flamepaw, Ashenanarchy, Fireclaw, Pinestep, Poppyclaw, Solartail, and Leopardfang followed behind him. It felt so good being a leader. However, Redeyes was his secret so far, and Shadestar didn't allow him to go to the gathering. Instead, he'd use Leopardfang, to pretend to be the deputy. She was a good age, cats could assume that.
"Careful on the log. I will jump in to save you, but I won't like it. If you fall off, I mean," The water lapped at the log, and Ravenkit wasn't too happy about getting her paws wet on cold moss and standing on a slippery log. One day Sablekit will be like that. She may be almost deaf, but she can still be an apprentice,
Shadestar arrived at the island, and, just as he thought, it was vacant. Shadestar looked up, and saw the full moon, shining bright. The black cat looked at his cats. "For many of you, this is your first gathering. Let me tell you, speak of nothing but your recent hunts, and practice with mentors, for apprentices. Flamepaw, you know what you don't tell," Shadestar nodded, referring to the time that he met with the FireClan cats in the forest.
"The other Clans should be arriving soon. Feel free to talk to who you wish, until the gathering starts,"

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=101010] the count;; 177 the cat;; Ravenpaw the involved;; Flamepaw the notes;; EXCITED!!
Ravenpaw grinned when Shadestar gave them permission to talk. She couldn't wait to meet other cats from other clans! Ravenpaw looked around, and noticed nobody else was here, though. So, she trotted right over to her sister, Flamepaw.
"Isn't this just amazing?" Ravenpaw meowed, looking around the island. "I can't believe we're already at our first gathering! Shadestar must've been really pleased with us!"
Ravenpaw recalled the situation at camp. Dustpaw was an apprentice, and had run away when she wasn't named a warrior. As punishment, Shadestar went easy on her, and only made her miss the gathering. However, he could tell she fancied his brother, Drydusk, so let them both stay at camp together. They had a lot of catching up to do with eachother.
Ravenpaw didn't think it was much of a punishment. If there was one tomcat she loved, she'd want to stay behind at camp with him. She wouldn't be lonely, and plus it would be them, free to watch the stars in StarClan..

K, Shady, this is a chance for Shadestar to introduce what he knows about Ashen and Morning having made each other mates, and a chance for Poppyclaw to find another possible mate... Hmm... [atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=ffff00]
Cats: Flamepaw, Ashenanarchy, Poppyclaw Involved: Ravenpaw Words: 381 Music: Moskau by Cschinghis Khan (( Sorry, tis be German. I have German heritage, and I am currently in the slow process of learning German. )) and Kiss My Sass by Cobra Starship
Flamepaw's dark green eyes settled on her sister's form. She recalled the day she had almost ripped her sister to shreds after Ravenpaw had made her angry. She didn't rememeber much of it, but hat she did remember would haunt her forever.
"Come on Flamekit!" Ravenkit had called, indignatly. "Let me play with it!" It had been a small ball of moss, and Flamekit gave it up to her sister after only having had it for a few minutes. Flamekit waited until Sunhigh, which was a good few hours after giving the ball away, and confronted her sister. "Ravenkit, I would like a turn with it to! You've had it much longer than I have! It's my turn!" Ravenkit gave it up, but she soon got impatient and tried to take oit back after a few minutes. Flamekit got frustrated, and wouldn't let the ball out of her tiny kit paws. A large argument insued.
Flamepaw didn't recall much of the srgument, but she did remember halfway killing her sister after she said something along the lines of: "You're no better than a flae-ritten tick bitten mouse-brained idiot!" Her dark greens eyes blinked, revealing no sense of the excitement she didn't feel. She wasn't going to lie to her sister, sp she replied.
"The only thing I see it as is a chance to get to know the cats we will one day have to fight against, and a chance to trick them out of their weaknesses to win the battles we will someday fight." She liftedher paw and licked it as she left her sister to work out her words.
Ashenanarchy's siamese pelt flashed as he slipped into the clearing. His blue eyes kept darting warilt to Shadestar. Shadestar had been showing suspicions that he knew of Morningcloud and his' relationship. That was so not cool.
Poppyclaw stepped into the clearing and looked around. She wished she had found a cat to love her. She so desperately wanted to have kits again, no matter what her two previous litters though. She was even willing to go beyond her own clan, is what she told herself. But would she really?

"I guess so," Ravenpaw sighed, noting that her brother was on his way to becoming a ruthless warrior, he was not a kit anymore. They'd go their seperate ways. They barely even behaved like littermates anymore. She felt.. lonely. Ever since the fight, Flamepaw had been like a stuck thorn in her paw, every step she made just made everything worse, and they grew further apart.
She knew that she shouldn't be making friends at a gathering, but she still wanted to. Her friends were really supposed to only be in ShadowClan, especially with FireClan joining them. But, nobody who liked her was really in ShadowClan. Sablekit was really the only kit who wanted to talk, and that was because of everyone neglected her. She was.. slow.. anyways. Ravenpaw didn't dare just tell her to leave her alone, as Shadestar was always towering over the kit, spoiling it, and then yelling at anyone who tried to do anything bad to her. Rumor had it the missing part of Cherishkit's ear came from Shadestar giving her a good cuffing, after yelling at Sablekit for eating some of her food.
"I hope another Clan comes soon. I'm always happy to be on good terms with other cats,"

Cat// Pinestep the A/n/t/i/c/i/p/a/t/i/n/g Notes// Dum de dum... first here, hehe. Words// 345
Pinestep gripped the cold, sodden log with his claws, carefully making his way across. He padded into the middle of the clearing, and glanced around. Only Shadowclan had arrived; the other three had yet to get there. Some cats looked anxious, others at ease. Pinestep knew little news about the other clans, and he was happy that Shadestar had taken him along.
He bounded across the clearing, taking a spot with a good view of the tree. He hoped not to be surprised, it had been a long while since he had been to a gathering; from what he had heard the last one had been chaotic--to say the least. This would be the second gathering with the three new leaders, and hopefully Patchstar would be there, so everything would go smoothly.
I can hardly wait! he thought. He couldn't wait to see some of the other cats, and talk. He knew that he had to be careful about making friends, for the sake of his clan, but tonight was a night for that kind of thing... right? He hadn't seen any of his old friends in a while, especially since his leg, but he was excited. Tonight would be the night that he'd get to catch up with all of his old pals.
And hear about the other clan's news.
He wondered what the other clans would have to say. He knew he had to be careful to make Shadowclan seem as strong as possible, and he knew that he couldn't say anything. About Fireclan. Shadestar had made sure that that was made clear, nobody was to speak a word about the alliance.
He himself didn't particularly like the alliance, he new how evil Fireclan was, and was worried about what might happened. He hadn't said anything to anyone, but it was all working out so far. He could care less, as long as no one was hurt.
He turned his attention to the stars, and hoped for a good gathering. Thank Starclan that all is well...

WC Cats Coming: Nightstar, Winterwind, Cloudrunner, Leafsong, Snowpatch, Hollythron, Orangesky, and Silvertongue
Nightstar's black pelt ushered her clan into the clearing only a few minutes after ShadowClan had arrived. There had been no FireClan cats about, but she knew aboput the alliance because StarClan had visited in her, Cloudrunner's, and Snowpatch's dreams the previous night telling them about the deadly alliance. Her orange eyes narrowed as she stepped upon the tree. She went over to Shadestar and simply asked, "Why?", her eyes narrow slits. She lashed her tail back and forth angerly, the fur on her spine bristling. Her sleek but muscular frame radiated hatred and longing. A longing to destroy the clan her so called father had been deputy of. FireClan was an abomintation that needed to be stopped.
Flamepaw's dark green eyes rolled over the WindClan cats as they streamed into the clearing. Their sleek frames stayed that way from hunting rabbits. She breathed in as much of the scent as she dared to, to always remember the scent of this rival clan.

Cats// Cloudrunner the C/o/n/f/u/s/e/d, and Winterwind L/e/f/t O/u/t Notes// Woo meeting! (: Words// 221 As Cloudrunner stood in the clearing, he turned to the other cats. So, these are the pitiful cats who made alliance with Fireclan, he thought as he narrowed his eyes. He turned to Shadestar, and wondered what would happen if he went up there to shun him. He rejected the idea as quickly as it had come to him, a leader in his prime against a young Medicine Cat?
He shivered and turned away, taking a spot somewhere near the log. He figured that he'd be able to see all the cats that way. The rest of the clan finished coming onto the island. He recounted the last meeting, and hoped that this one wouldn't be so... disastrous.
The moss was soft and he lay down and groomed himself. He wanted to look nice for the other cats, instead of the matted fur ball that he was now.
Winterwind felt out in the cold. He had noticed Cloudrunner, Nightstar, and Snowpatch had been on edge all day,and after they went into Nightstar's den, he didn't know what to think.
He wanted to know what they'd been talking about, but he dare not interrupt the Medicine Cat, bother his leader, or bug Snowpatch. So, he preceded to take a spot, and wondered what to make of it.

TC Cats coming: Lionfur, Dapplecloud, Blossomfire, Ruffledpaw, Stormeyes, Raccoontail, Troubleseeker (if she wants, and Silktail can watch her kits or something, since they're old enough...), Darkcry, and Leopardheart. Then I'm going to have Badgerkit sneek out of camp and follow TC. Any other TC kits are welcome to follow him. [atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=72ec19]
The Cat// Twinetail the S/i/g/h/i/n/g The Noted// Once again, he leads The Number// 203
Twinetail carefully led his clan to the island, full of anxiety. His clan? It might as well be, Patchstar barely even did anything anymore. He didn't go to meetings, or anything. Twinetail had always wanted to be leader, but... not this way.
the tree, and his fur rose. He could almost feel the anger emmiting When they came to the log, Twinetail shouted out, "Okay Thunderclan. Careful on the log." He slowly moved across, glancing over his shoulder a couple times to make sure that nobody had fallen.
He approched from Shadestar and Nightstar. Anxiety built up inside him, he knew that this meeting would go no better than the previous one. He was slightly fearful, if the clans can't get along...
He looked over the clearing at the other cats. They all seemed so... unaware. He felt bad for the cats who had come to both meetings, surely they would be worried that the clans could not have one easy-going meeting. He was.
He didn't even know what it was about, all the anger. He hoped that it wouldn't be too bad, but judging by the expressions of Shadestar and Nightstar, he would not get his way.

RC Cats: Milkystar, Destinycall, Tigerpaw, Skysong, Addertongue, Deadfoot (before he was killed in the battle), Mudstripe (also before battle), Mooncloud
"Come on Riverclan." He said. He leapt onto the log after Thunderclan got across, then slippng off and holding it steady for his clanmates. As soon as they were all across, he swam to the island. He shook his fur off, and pushed through the crowd to where the others leaders stood. "Where is Patchstar?" He asked Twinetail.
Deadfoot looked up at the sky. It was a little cloudy. Starclan hadn't contacted him in a few moons, and he was worried. He watched the edginess of Shadowclan, and trotted over to Ashenanarchy and Crowpaw. "Is this your apprentice Ashenanarchy?" The white tom asked heartily.
Troubleseeker had decided to come today. Patchstar seemed a wreck, her kits had stayed behind with Silktail. She shivered. Patchstar didn't seem to want to be her mate anymore. He seemed so distant, not really in. Burningflame had stayed behind to keep an eye on him. Troubleseeker was worried. Very worried.
Blossomfire trotted over to her Riverclan mother. "Hello mother. How is Riverclan faring?" She asked, looking down at Tigerpaw. "Another brother?" She asked, grinning.
(ooc- Fox, no one knows the alliance between FireClan and ShadowClan yet.)

Ravenpaw twitched her stinking coat, when Flamepaw hadn't really replied. What a grump. Ravenpaw twitched her left ear, rose up, and swished her tail while turning, heading towards three cats, who smelled like ThunderClan and RiverClan. Good, Ravenpaw had been dying to meet some members from other Clans. After all, if FireClan turned on them, what would she do?
Ravenpaw's glowing green eyes went into the triangle, now making it a square-ish shape. She cocked her head, and then introduced herself. "Hello, I'm Ravenpaw, from ShadowClan," It felt funny doing this. Her stomach twisted in a knot. What if they're unfriendly? Ravenpaw ignored her fears, and kept going the best she could. "This is my first Gathering, and I'm a new apprentice. I don't know what to do,"
The last part was true, but it was so she looked more confused than nosy. Maybe it would lead to good conversation, and maybe an other-Clan friendship. It would never be a great friendship, seperated by territories, but it was always good to have allies in the neighboring Clans. Unlike how her sister thought. Maybe Ravenpaw could even things out. Or make things worse. Whatever happened.

The Cats// Twinetail the S/i/g/h/i/n/g, Badgerkit the A/d/v/e/n/t/u/r/o/u/s, and Skysong th W/o/n/d/e/r/i/n/g The Noted// Hehehe, everyone's here now... The Number// 762
Twinetail turned around when he heard Milkystar, replying, "Patchstar has not been feeling well. I do not suspect it is that bad, but better safe than sorry. You know, with all the clans here, best not to get anybody sick." He lied. He did suspect that it was serious. Very serious. Patchstar had been growing ever distant from the clan, even those he loved.
He lied to protect Patchstar. Patchstar, who would not come to the gathering. Patchstar, who does not even care for his family any more. Twinetail was now a little ticked at his so called leader. Patchstar.
Skysong looked to the stars. Beautiful, and shining with life, yes, but they did her no good. Starclan must not like her, so much in her life had gone wrong. And where's the one thing that will do good? That one cat who will love her. Unconditionally. And make everything bad disappear like fog in the sunshine.
She looked up, anticipating that the meeting would start soon. The three leaders and the deputy. This is the second meeting in a row that Patchstar has missed. I wonder if everything is okay... she thought.
She felt a sort of uneasiness from a cat not far from her. A siamese, Ashen-something, she couldn't remember. She glanced around, wondering if the other cats were ready. Most were in small groups, grooming and talking to each other. Looks like they might wait a little while longer, she thought.
Badgerkit made a cunning move. A bit after Thunderclan left, to insure he would not be caught by another passing clan, he got up. It was pain-staking, how much he wanted to go to the meeting. And so, he had though up a plan, and a good one for a kit his age.
"It's going to be just like a hunting game," he told the other kits. He wasn't sure if they were going to follow, but he knew that he had to get a move on. "Mom, I'm going to go get some moss to play with," he told Silktail. He had a plan. Go right out, where some good moss was, but his mom couldn't see him.
Then, as silently as he could, he slipped away. He opened his mouth, like he had seen other warriors do, and caught scent. He zigzagged, losing it more than a few times but always catching it again. He was worried about what his mom would be thinking, and his dad for that matter, but he wanted to see what they were like. What his dad did.
He reached Windclan territory, and found it a lot easier to keep quiet. Without so many trees, there were fewer dead leaves to stomp on. He heard a noise, and stopped in his tracks. Frozen, he stayed still. He waited, until the noise was completely gone, and moved on.
He was a lot more focused on the scent, and found himself staying on track. There were so many new scents, different from the forest, that he stopped to inhale them a few times. This may be a good reference, he thought. The trek seemed to take hours, and he was running to make up for time. At last, he came to the log.
He only got to watch about two cats step off, and he wanted to try to do it. He had to admit, he was so frightened he could barely do it. But he knew that what lay on the other side was what he had come for. And he didn't want to go back and get punished without anything to make it worth while.
So he stepped onto the sodden log, claws fiercely gripping the it. Paw after paw, at a snails pace he moved forward. He slipped, but grabbed on like he was stuck to it by sap, and regained his balance. Water splashing at his feet, sometimes getting them wet, scared him. He was so worried about falling in.
After what seemed like days to him, he reached the end. He decided that that was far worse than the trek. Finally, though, he was there. The brilliant light of the moon and stars were wonderful, and the sky was as clear as the cleanest water.
He stayed alone, at the edge of the island where he knew he would not be discovered. He looked up, to a great forked tree, where his father stood. That was when he knew that it was well worth the wait to get here.

"But Badgerkit!" Jaykit said, running after her brother. The pretty little blue tabby daren't tell her mother. She knew Daddy would be at the gathering. Yeah. Sticking close to Badgerkit, she looked at the log he got across. She didn't like the look of it.
Gingerly, the little kit placed one foot on the log, then another, then her back feet. It wobbled and jiggled. "Badgerkit! Help!" She wailed as she tried to get to the other side. It teetered and tottered, and then, as Badgerkit had turned, a splash.
Jaykit had fallen in the water. She wasn't a Riverclanner, and she could barely keep herself afloat. Bubbling, the little she-kit desperately tried to kick her way out, but she had been tired coming here and following her brother. Her eyes looked up through the water as she felt her lungs burst, and her air bubbled out. She was going to die, she was going to die!

The Cat// Badgerkit The Noted// Oh my gawd!!! The Number// 228
Badgerkit heard his sister, and wondered why she had not already crossed. He turned, and she fell in. She was pulled underneath the water, and he couldn't find her. Where is she!? he thought, panicking. He raced to the log, his head swiveling back and forth, desperately searching for his sister.
He padded back and forth anxiously, not fully understanding how terribly bad the situation was. He wasn't sure where Jaykit was either. He knew the right thing was to call out, to tell someone. He wanted to, but he was frozen with fear and anxiety, and the words he wanted to say didn't come out.
He could not locate her, until he saw a rush of air. Looking towards the spot, he found his sister. She was underneath the water, and he wanted to help her, but that would do no good. What do I do!? he thought, adrenaline pumping through his veins. But he knew what he had to do.
"Somebody, HELP!" he yowled, his voice ringing through the air. He didn't care how much trouble he got in, he just wanted his sister back. He saw the other cats looking to him, some standing up. "HELP!" he wailed.
He didn't know what would happen, he just knew that he didn't want his sister to die. Someone had to save her.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=101010] the count;; 210 the cat;; Ravenpaw the involved;; the notes;; might as well let FireClan show now.
Ravenpaw didn't even know if they replied. The sound of mewling kits was in the air, and right away, Ravenpaw's ears went up. It was faint at first, and then there was one louder mewl. She didn't recognize them, they weren't from ShadowClan. Ravenpaw then heard another cry, calling for help. Right away, Ravenpaw whipped around, black pelt a blur, and then ran towards the log, where the sound was.
Ravenpaw saw a kit, black, like her, on the side of a log, kind of leaning over. She ran onto the slippery log, legs quivering. "What is i-" she didn't finish her sentence. Below her was the shadow of a kit in the pond, sinking. A crowd had already begun to gather, of a few cats. Ravenpaw didn't know if any of them were RiverClan. She didn't care. She just knew that somebody needed to save the kit. And, right now, she was the only one who could break the hesitation, and jump in first.
Like a penguin into a crowd of leopard seals, Ravenpaw took the plunge. She quickly realized she had no idea how to sim. She flailed about with her front paws, trying to stay afloat. She saw The shape of Shadestar on the edge of the island, eyes dialated with horror. Shadestar couldn't swim, and he knew that.
Ravenpaw's head was the only thing on the surface. She kicked with her back legs and her front legs. She was tiring, but she needed to stay afloat. But the kit was sinking.
Ravenpaw was confused, and was uncomfotable by the water. Ravenpaw tooka deep breath, and then slowly let herself sink. She was heavier. She'd sink more like a rock than like a waterlogged feather.
The black apprentice was soon under the water. She pried her eyes open, and felt the sting of the lake, and its cold water. She was shivering. Ravenpaw outstretched a claw, and trying to swipe at the kit, to catch it. No matter how much she tried, she couldn't reach the kit. Bubbles from her appeared at the surface.
There was a splash, and a jet of water, which damaged Ravenpaw's vision more. Her mouth was filling with water. She refused to swallow. She resisted the urge to breathe in, knowing she'd become more waterlogged.
A shape of a cat grabbed the kit by the scruff, and then rose to the surface, away from Ravenpaw. Ravenpaw let out all of the air in her body from shock. It was then she noticed the bottom was coming into sight. She could feel her vision starting to go black. She struggled to get to the surface, but then noticed it wasn't working, and, although she was making some progress, she was starting to feel herself black out. Her lungs ached, begging for air.
Ravenpaw's vision went black, and she lost feeling.
At the surface, there was a drenched golden cat, holding the kit in his mouth. He was near Shadestar, who was on the bank. He placed it down to the ground, coughed out some water, and panted. "This is Ravenpaw, is it not?" Shadestar's eyes, from the moment Ravenpaw sunk, didn't change.
"No! You idiot! Go get her now!" Shadestar yowled.
"Bu-" He didn't get a chance to finish.
"Now!"
The golden cat jumped in the water, and just sunk.

Milkystar heard the commotion, and saw the golden cat pull the tiny kit out of the water. Pushing his way through the crowd, he snarled. "Move!" He said, pushing the cats out of the way with his shoulders. He could see the golden cat, and the black apprentice was barely visible. Shaking his tail, he took a deep breath, and his leath body jumped a few feet out towards the log where Ravenpaw had sunk, and he dove under the water.
He opened his grey-blue eyes, scanning the murky water. There was Ravenpaw, drifting in the water. Milkystar's powerful legs pushed the water, and he propelled himself towards her. His lungs were fit to burst as he let go of the air, and grabbed the young apprentice. He pushed against the water with his feet, and broke the surface.
He swam to the shore with the apprentice in his jaws, and when he reached the bank, he lifted her up, and hauled himself out. "And now, where do these kits come from and who are their mouse-brained parents." He asked, scanning the crowd. The soggy one only stunk of water, but the black and white striped kitten smelled like ThunderClan.
"Twinetail, do you recognise them?" He asked, grey eyes wide with enquiry. He watched the ThunderClan deputy#s every move, and saw the little blue kitten stir.
"Wha-? Happe-?" She asked, coughing up some water. Her sweet little voice peirced the silence, and she looked at her brother. "What happened Badgerkit?" She asked feebly, looking at all the big, scary cats. The kitten pulled herself to her feet, fur hanging in locks. Her eyes met with a brown cat in the crowd, but judging by what the big white tom had said, she better not say anything. Turning to him, she saw the soggy apprentice. "Oh dear..."
