Shadestar moved out of the way when Milkystar swam to get Ravenpaw, though his fur prickled just by his fishy smell. Milkystar's white shape went into the water, and soon him and Ravenpaw were coming out of the water. Ravenpaw was limp, which made Shadestar's heart seem to drop, and his stomach twist. However, she was out. Thank StarClan.. I hope she's okay..
Shadestar watched at Milkystar asked who the parents of the kits were. He knew they were front ThunderClan, but he wasn't going to be a smart tail when Ravenpaw was probably freezing in the leaf-bare night. "She'd best be alive!" Shadestar's fur prickled. "Ashenanarchy! Get over here and help me warm Ravenpaw!"
Shadestar licked Ravenpaw, trying to get her to wake up. Why can't we just have one normal gathering!? Shadestar's fur stayed poofed. Water dripped off of her coat, and her eyes were open, glassy. Ravenpaw, you did something good for the warrior code. StarClan, please take pity on her! She's my responsibility!

Flamepaw shot over beside her leader and watched her sister be pulled out of the water. She nodded her thanks to the RiverClan leader. She admired her sister's courage in rescuing the kit, but she was also infuriated by the lack of though going into the process. She went forward to her sister's black body and licked her head as Ashenanarchy came forward and started to lick her to warm her. Then, she went off ranting and raving on her sister. "How stupid could you get!! You're not a RiverClan cat! You also had to be saved by another cat who drowned in the process!" she looked to the golden tom's now floating body.
"Yeah, you opbeyed the warrior code, but both you and the kit could have been killed, and where do you think ShadowClan or myself would have been then?!" She loved her sister, it's true, but she never really showed it. And this instance she almost lost her sister and she couldn't do anytthing about it. Asheneanarchy spoke soflty, and chose his wordscarefully when he spoke to the pirckly she-cat. "Flamepaw, I think you're sister can save this argument for later..."
Flamepaw looked into Ashenanarchy's blue eyes and kept herself from growling her displeasure of the tom. They had recently all found out about his scandal with Morningcloud. Her face held nothing back though and she said in a low tone. "She is my sister, and I will do this now, Ashenanarchy. Medicine cat or not, I have a right to talk to my sister whenever I want, and that is now." She turned back to her sister and her dark green eyes softened as she saw the returning breath to her sister's body., She was truly blaming herself for not stopping her sister before she jumped in.
Poppyclaw came up, and licked Flamepaw's head and waited, watching Ravenpaw.

[[twilight, things would have been different if Shadestar had found out before this gathering. plus I'd like a role play for that, as its a big thing.]]

Shadestar licked Ravenpaw, and looked at Ashenanarchy, another cat who hated him. Shadestar stopped his fur from prickling, and focused on the task at hand: Warming Ravenpaw.
Keeping her warm went on for several long minutes. Suddenly, her eyes cracked open, and she was awake. "... who..?" Shadestar licked her on the forehead, overjoyed you were awake.
"Ravenpaw! I had some fleeting thoughts that you had joined StarClan! Thank StarClan, you're back!" Shadestar purred, as Ravenpaw struggled to her feet, tired. Nearly and hour total had passed, and the moons position was beginning to change in the sky. If they started now, they'd have time until the full moon was chased away by the sun.
"Somebody take the two kits back to ThunderClan!" Shadestar ordered. "We don't want any more trouble here." Shadestar's icy eyes looked at the kits, and went back down to Ravenpaw, where he muttered: "Ravenpaw, do you want to stay?"
Ravenpaw nodded slowly. "Yes.. though can I skip duties this morning, Shadestar?" She was shivering a little, though she'd probably soon warm.
Shadestar purred at the apprentice. "Of course, Ravenpaw. I expect you to catch double the prey, however!"
Ravenpaw nodded, and slowly moved towards the inside of the island. Shadestar followed, and jumped onto his branch.
"All cats! Silence yourselves so that the leaders may speak of the Clan! Show respect for your ancestors, and your leader!" Shadestar yowled, as the cats started back to the island, commotion slowly beginning to die down among the cats. "ShadowClan shall speak last. Who will speak first?"

the Cats// Twinetail, Badgerkit, and Pinestep the Noted// Kk no more of that XD the Number// 533
Twinetail stood over his kits, and then looked down at them, his eyes softening their gaze. "We will discuss this later," he softly muttered. "For now, go sit with Troubleseeker." He looked to the kit's aunt, and watched them stumble over, as to make sure no more of that would be happening.
He sighed, climbing up the tree. "Thunderclan will begin first, I suppose," he yowled, feeding off of what Shadestar had just said. They didn't have much to say, after all, and no exciting news, so he decided to just get it over with. He was just as willing to have the other clans go first, to hear what they had to say, but felt that he had to be patient.
"If you are wondering where Patchstar is, he is sick. We felt that it would be best not to get any other cats sick, especially given that we are in the midst of leaf-fall." he began, his voice ringing out. He nodded to the other leaders, and then started with the clan's news. "Besides that, all has been going well. We still have quite a bit of food, as prey is running well, and our herbs are stocked to the limit. We are anticipating that everything will go well, even with the coming leaf-bare. Our cats are also fairing well. Thunderclan has no more news..." he trailed off, looking to the other leaders.
Badgerkit nodded at his fathers request, allowing Jaykit to lean on him a bit. They snuggled up with Troubleseeker, who seemed surprised, but did not push them away. He was a bit worried about what Mommy and Daddy would say to him, but he tried to forget about it. He knew that he was at the meeting, and no one, not even Shadestar, could make him leave. Unless he carries me off of the island himself... he thought.
He watched his father clamber up the tree, and then speak out. He wondered how his dad could do that, given the situation. And still, he made the clan sound strong. Not that it wasn't. That was when he decided that he wanted to be just like his dad, up there on that tree. One day...
Pinestep anxiously watched his apprentice, but dare not step closer while Shadestar towered over her. When she finally came to, a wave of relief washed over him, and he was delighted that she was awake. He padded over, licking her on the head.
"Glad so see you awake. And don't worry Shadestar, I'll do her duties in the morning. She'll probably just want to sleep," he murmured, with a slight hint of amusement. He really was glad that she was okay. He walked across the open area, keeping an eye on her as she lay down.
It occurred to him that some more training soon would be good, her paws should be healed enough by now. He looked up as he saw the Thunderclan deputy start his speech, listening to Thunderclan's news. Appears that everything is well there, he thought. That was what he really wanted, for the clan's to be at peace.

Nightstar stepped forward, her black pelt smooth and her orange eyes blank.
"WindClan is faring kind of well, considering the rabbits are starting to retreat to their dens. We manage to flush a few out every once in awhile, along with what we can catch without getting them out of their burrows, but we are faring. We've had no trouble from FireClan, except that our warriour ancestors have sent us a sign. Twilightstar came to myself, Snowpatch, and Cloudrunner. She said something about fire and shadow, and I reckon it means that FireClan have made an alliance with someone here... Namely ShadowClan. We've been to their borders and have smelt their stench mingled with the even worse stanch of FireClan. We've incresaed our patrols, and don't think for a moment we will be open to invasion. Her hard orange eyes fell on the ShadowClan leader as she finished, and stepped back to let another leader go forward.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=171717] the count;; 403 the cat;; Shadestar the involved;; ShadowClan the notes;; shadestar makes more drama. oh boy.
Shadestar growled when Nightstar accused him. "Mouse-brain! You know that StarClan speaks in riddles! There is no reason for us to be suspected until the medicine cats have come to an agreement over the prophecy!" Shadestar snorted. "Don't point tails before you're certain!"
Milkystar was still by the river, so Shadestar flicked his left ear, and spoke: "Milkystar will have to wait to speak, I suppose. Slower then a two legged badger..." Shadestar mumbled, and looked in Milkystar's direction through slit eyes.
"ShadowClan has been faring quite well. As you can tell, though our frames are more lithe than before, we still have our strong builds to us, and we're the same tough cats that you didn't want to screw around with in new-leaf," Shadestar continued, "Some birds have gone away, but we still have plenty of mice and squirrels. Ravenpaw here loves catching squirrels, and apparently kits fallen in the water," he teased. She looked annoyed, but nobody else but ShadowClan seemed to get the whole falling out of the tree accident. "My apprentice and I saw two FireClan cats by the border earlier in the moon, a kit and a warrior. We chased them off. ThunderClan, I don't know if you scented them, but I'd keep an eye out for them. FireClan can only mean a storm's approaching. That's all ShadowClan has to report,"
Shadestar looked at Twilightstar, and he growled. "Twilightstar, hun, now I have that out of the way.. may I ask what you were doing on ThunderClan or RiverClan borders, sniffing about? You couldn't possibly have any matters going on that you don't want to share with us, do you?" The night breeze ruffled the furs, as the cats all fell on an awkward silence. ShadowClan cats rose from sitting, and looked at Nightstar with dagger-like gazes. "Is ShadowClan the only Clan who follows the sacred Warrior Code?!" There was a crackle of thunder in the distance, but no clouds covered the moon just yet. But StarClan was thinking of ending the gathering. Maybe they didn't want to skip Milkystar's turn. Maybe they wanted to see if ShadowClan would have a faux pas, or if WindClan was doing things or maybe.. there were so many reasons the moon was still clear. Shadestar narrowed his eyes, and looked right into Nightstar's ambers.

She glared right back into his, and replied cooly. "I'll have you know, Shadestar, that our borders now touch. Even the simplest border patrol could have picked up the scent. Besides, by asking this, you're implying that I am not following the warrior code. By keeping up our borders, we are keeping to the code.." Her gaze narrowed and she turned her head to the sky, watching the moon for a few calm moments. Then, her amber jewels turned back onto the ShadowClan leader. "I do knot that StarClan peak in riddles, but by what the three of us discussed and what each of us concludes leads only to one decision. Whether anyone elese believes that decision or not is up to themselves. WindClan has no more purpose here. The moon is about to set, and we must return home. I don't know about Milkystar, the slow poke, but I call this gathering to an end." She jumped off the rock, and her warriors sorrounded her and they trekked away.

Shadestar growled, and watched Twilightstar abruptly leave. "And, here my cats, we can see a 'leader' backing down when proven wrong! Apprentices, this is exactly what you want to avoid! You'll look like a fool," Shadestar growled, glaring at Nightstar. He brushed his fur up against hers, and purred: "Mm, honey, our borders never have touched. You've just disgraced yourself in front of all of the clans. Good night,"
Shadestar yowled, rallying up his Clan. Most of the shapes took a hard look at Nightstar, and then followed their leader. Ravenpaw sputtered behind her brother, and Shadestar made a quick joke about the water. Shadestar laughed, and then was cut short to glare at Nightstar. He then walked on.
Orangesky looked at Nightstar, expecting an explanation. "Nightstar, you're in the right." It was useless buttering her up, but Orangesky attempted anyways. "We should send a patrol into ShadowClan at the next gathering. They wouldn't dare bring FireClan cats to the gathering, if they're trying to keep it down. I would attend this for our Clan, Nightstar. I wouldn't care if I died, if this happened. Truth needs to be shed on this. Tails need to stop waving around like the moor grass in the wind," Orangesky sighed, and then looked at Nightstar with his gray-blue eyes. He sighed again, and then walked right towards WindClan.

Milkystar had barely clambered up the tree before Shadestar yowled for his clan to leave. "You of all cats know that leaving a gathering before it is over is foolish. You're acting like a foolish kit. I saved your apprentice, and I recieved no thanks." The bright tom said, leaping back down from the tree. "Listen me this Shadestar, when you came to be leader of Shadowclan, I knew tension was rising in our clan. I just hope Starclan can guide you out of this time. Riverclan, we're leaving." He snorted. If Shadowclan did not wish to hear their news, they would leave the gathering.

Shadestar snorted. "Both you and Nightstar have both been going nuts. Maybe that's why she was near ShadowClan borders.. in your territory.. and, despite HER calling the gathering off, you blame it on me, don't you? Go home and cry. I always knew you were too young, soft, and inexperienced to be a leader." Lightning blinded all of the cats, and thunder crackled. The night became dark as it became cloudy. "Don't make anymore mouse-brained descisions. We'll be raising patrols by your territory. I hope I don't catch you inside of Nightstar instead of Destinycall,"
Shadestar flicked his tail, and before anyone else could answer, he had left the gathering, cats walking behind him.
