[[time's about ten minutes after Lioness was told to leave the scene]]
Dusky walked down the trail. She had decided to split off from Morningcloud and Ashenanarchy to see Lionfur. She trudged though the forest, limping on her hurt front paw. The wind blew on her whiskers, but what she smelled was terrible. Her fur prickled as she went forward and then smelled a cat.. from ThunderClan!
Dusky limped over as fast as she could, and saw her. She was a golden tabby. She looked just the age of an apprentice. Dusky meowed: "Hello, my friends have told me that this is ThunderClan territory. Are you a ThunderClan cat?" she mewed. She was rather shy, and wasn't used to talking to other cats so much. The fur blew her whiskers, and her bright yellow eyes avoided eye contact. "If you're from ThunderClan.. do you know Lionfur?"

The little golden cat looked up at dusky, her fur starting to lie flat after the initial shock. Her dark amber eyes searched the cat then answered. "Yes, I am from ThunderClan. I have not yet had my ceremony but I am an apprentice. And I did know Lionfur. He's my father, and the first time I met him a large branch fell on him and killed him. Leopardheart is the new deputy now. I'm Lioness." She chose her words carefully, but she was starting to warm up to this one-eyed she-cat.

There was a moment of silence where there was only the wind between the two cats. Dusky bit her tongue, and held all of her emotions back, letting her heart just sink on her own. "Oh. I see. I just had a message for him, and it would affect nobody but him, so it's not anything worth hearing. We're just old friends. Just tell the Clan that Dusky sends her regards to him. It's too bad he's... dead.." Dusky cracked out the last word, trying to keep her voice stable. She bowed her head at the apprentice. "Thank-you. I'll be leaving ThunderClan soil now," as she spoke her voice quivered. She raised her head up and nodded, and then turned around, and started walking away from the apprentice.
I see how it is. Toms can't keep committed for a few moons. I'm going to miss him but.. I'm not sure if I'd even want to see him if he were still breathing today. Though I feel bad for the little kit, never really knowing her father. Oh well. I was always kind of a weight on the Clan, especially in the leaf-bare.. she was almost out of the territory now. She's cross back to WindClan and meet up with Ashenanarchy and Morningcloud.

"Wait!! the little she-cats voice cut through the leafbare wind. "We could use your help! Our camp currently is being attacked by FireClan and ShadowClan! we ned every paw. I have not been trained much in the fighting arts so I've been sent out to collect extra cats to help." The golden cat caught up to Dusky, and half way forced her back onto ThunderClan territory right before Ducky stepped over the order. "Besides. i've heard stories of you. In my opinion you always were and always will be a ThunderClan cat. You were taken against your will, Dusky. I recognize you from the stories."

Dusky twitched her whiskers. "I can't fight," she meowed, picking up her terribly clashed and torn paw, which stank with infection. "But my friends can. I'll get them." Dusky meowed, waving her stub tail.
Dusky turned around and limped away. She though of the last things that Lionesspaw said, and twitched her ears. "I'm not the same Dusky you've heard about. I'm just a friend of Lionfur, and a cat who refuged in ThunderClan for five or so moons. Funny, I don't even really remember anything.." Her eyes dulled, disappointed at her own memories. All that she could imagine was hunting with Lionfur, and him teaching her, meeting the brown kitty-pet...
"I'm not a ThunderClan cat, Lioness. I'm a loner."
