the Cat* Twinestar the Noted* Lioness... time to talk the Time* 'Bout a week after Lionfur died the Number* 200 EXACT
Twinestar crept out of his den, intending to find someone. Lioness. She had been here long enough, doing nothing. Staying around, eating food, more like. Anyways, he intended to talk to her. He was no longer mad at the young cat over his lost deputy; he had to make the best of the situation.
He looked around, and sighted the young she-cat. He trotted over to her, his pace brisk and his face serious. "Lioness, can I see you in my den?" He turned around and padded back to his den. Looking over his shoulder to make sure she followed, he walked in.
"Lioness, I a sure that you are ready to begin training, are you not? I may have allowed you more time if it were warmer, but we can no longer spare time. If you wish to remain, you must preparefor training by the next sunrise. If you do not, you will be asked to leave," he told her. He was not messing around, Thunderclan had no more time to spare with these cats. He also had the matter of Silverpaw to attend to.
"So, Lioness... is there anything you would like to say to me now?"

The small golden tawny form of Lioness looked up to the ThunderClan leader. When he mentioned seeing her in his den, she got a little shaky. She may have been bold and preapred for almost anything thrown at her, but Twinestar was still the one cat who she was scared of, especially after the reception she got after seeing her father die at her paws with the log crushing him. She nodded silently, and padded softly after him. She hadn't eaten much hionestly. She had actually been doing small chores around the cmap and helping out the toher aprentices, even if she wasn't a full clan cat. These cats had been caring for her and feeding her, and the least she could do was pull her own weight, or try to anyways.
When he asked her the ultimatum, she knew her answer. "Yes, Twinestar. I feel I was born ready. The wild things I have smelled or eaten have made stirrings within me, and I know the place I belong is here. I only hope I can live up to the stories of my father's reputation, and be valiant a warrior as him. His blood runs in my veins after all, and I feel it is a sworn duty to do as good if not better than what he did. My only question is this. Who will teach me? Not a whole lot of the clan seem to have even accepted that I am Lionfur's daughter." she twitched her tail irritably, half mocking those who did not notice her. They would someday. Hopefully. To herself, not aware that Twinestar was still there, she added softly. "Just not you please. You still scare the living beejebubs out of me..." At the last soft statement, she had her face facing the ground, her eyes away from the leader.

the Cat* Twinestar the Noted* Oopsies. TRUST ME the Number* 245
Twinestar listened to Lioness, nodding. He saw her shaky form, and felt guilt rush over him. Ever since the accident, the two of them had been... avoiding each other, at best. You didn't know. It's not your fault... he told himself. He heard her last remark, and new it. He didn't know if he was supposed to hear it, but he did, and he had to fix it. Everyone in this clan had to trust him.
"Lioness, I'm... sorry." he sighed. "I did not mean to put this rift betwen us. I do not want a relationship like this, especially with the daughter of my old deputy. I want to honor him. What can I do to fix this?" His eyes softened, looking at the young cat. He felt pity, she had no family here, no cat who she really trusted.
"If you wish, I can ask Troubleseeker to mentor you. Or, you may have whichever mentor you wish. I am so sorry to have put this strain on you. Please, if there is any way I can help..." he trailed off.
The poor cat, but he knew she was ready. He could see it in her eyes, and hoped deeply that she would do well. All she really needed in order to blossom was an accepting clan, and a good mentor. Hopefully now, they could stop avoiding each other and start fixing the problem. What he really wanted was forgiviness.

Her deep amber eyes looked at Twinestar in surprise. So he HAD heard her last comment. She sighed lightly, flicked her tail, and meowed. "Well, I want to fix this rift as well, but I know it won't be easy... Either way, Troubleseeker sounds like an awesome mentor. " She looked around his den for a few seconds, then settled her eyes back on his brown tabby form. "But, when I have my ceremony, I would like my name to still have Lioness in it. I don't want to give that up. It's what my mother named me from birth, and has made me my father's daughter in a way. I just hope that Bear is alright. My poor brother was very sick when my mother brought me to the forest. But, oh well. That life is past me now that I have accepted your offer."
