I suggest you read this or else this post will be very confusing.
I use a number system to rate how good or bad an animals sickness is, and then I use how much herbs the Clan has to determine how sick the cat will be, and for how long. If your Clan has herb collecting posts at least twice a season, your chances of finding good herbs is increased.
So, for the sickness level:
1 or 2: Something like a cough, or slightly upset stomauch.
2 or 3: Something a little bigger, like a bellyache or a sore throat.
4 or 5: An actual sickness where a cat will need to spend at least a day in the medicine cats den, or something like a sprain.
6: Bad sprains, worse level sicknesses.
7 or 8: The ultimate sickness or disaster: Broken bones, blackcough, things that will likely result in death or other bad things.
Blacksnow 2 Has a cough: Nothing hazardous, though she may not want to go near her kits..
Leopardfang 6 Greencough! Foxdung! Crowpaw.. get busy, before it spreaddss
Ravenpaw 2 Has an upset stomach and doesn't want to eat for a few hours.
Hidesong;; 5 All of that running most have pulled a muscle! ;-; I wouldn't hunt for a few days..
Mudstripe;; 5 MUDSTRIPES DEAD UPDATE YOUR LISTS K CHEZ
Troubleseeker;; [5, but needed to become sick] Remember when you mated with Patchstar, the one with the weird sickness? Yeah, I think you have it.. and your kits don't look so well either..
Gladefeet; 1 You're covered in ticks! Nasty!
Moonfire;; 1 Ew, fleas!
Earthpelt;; 4 Your eye's all runny. I'd get that checked out by the medicine cat before your eye starts really hurting..
Hollythorn;; 2 Ear mites are really, really nasty. It's nothing now, but you don't want to damage yourself by trying to be tough..
Silvertongue;; 8 You look really terrible all of a sudden.. I'd check that out.
Shadestar 3 You have ticks all over your pelt! Smokepaw wand Cherishpaw will have fun with that..
Silverpaw 7 I think that fall may have given you more than what you bargained for..
Flamepaw 2 I think some of Shadestar's ticks jumped onto you.
Destinycall;; 6 A cut of yours has become infected.
These can happen at any time within leaf-bare or new-leaf. I'm just trying this out, so if you guys don't like random events, it's okay. Just trying to spark some activity and put some realism in.
