Dainty felt as if she had walked for ages. She'd stood on a thorn or something a while back and now she was limping. But this would help her with convincing these wild cats she was helpless and no threat. She wondered if they would take her in more readily if she said she had been in a fight.
It really wasn't the time for Dainty to have doubts but she was starting to regret her decision. She didn't know anything about these cats; what if they just refused to take her in even if she made up a heart-wrenching story? What if they decided she was a threat and killed her?
She froze, suddenly aware of how vunerable she was, alone on the moor. Anyone could see her; these cats were probably more adjusted to the wild and could spot her from miles away. She could bet that they were really fast and that even the kits were stronger than her.
But she'd come this far; she couldn't turn back now.

Kitten:; Nightstar the RAWR Involved:; Dainty Words:; 177 Music:; Any Means Necessary by Hammerfall Other:; She gunna keep you as a prisonoh!
Nightstar's black pelt slunk low across the moor land grass and stones. It was oddly warm for a leaffall day, but she wasn't complaining. She stopped on the rise of a hill, her orange eyes locked on the small form of a cat. She narrowed her flaming eyes and lashed her tail. No cat trespassed on her clan's territory, not even a small female like this! The wind shifted and blew the cat's scent towards it. It was a kittypet! What would a kittypet be doing all the way out here?
She slowly started down the rise, her strong paws crushing the dying moorland grass crucnhing under her paws. Though the wind was strong, it did not stop th calls of the birds from reaching her ears. She kept them pricked forward, watching the kittypet that had come to their lands. She stop about a foxlength away, her head held high and her tail erect like a war banner. Her voice was commanding. "Who are you, to trespass on my Clan's lands?"

Oh mousedung, why did I ever come out here?Dainty thought, paincking. The she-cat glaring at her was sure not to listen to her; she didn't seem very likely to even let Dainty talk to her and looked more like she would rather kill her. But what could she do to get help from this cat? In a flash of inspiration, Dainty had a plan. It was a bad plan, filled with flaws, but at least it was a plan.
Dainty collapsed in a heap to look more helpless and began to babble. "I-I'm Dainty! I was told about this place by my mother and when she died I decided that I should come here because it sounded so amazing when she told me about it. But I got in a fight with these big cats and I'm so scared! Please help me; I don't eat much, honest."
Dainty was almost certain this cat wouldn't fall for her trick but she hoped she might.

Silvertongue had been out hunting, and had scented the strange cat. She had followed a little ways behind Nightstar, watching The two cats converse, or rather, Nightstar command the she-cat as to why she was tresspassing. A light smile formed on the visage of the silver tabby female as she glided over. She had heard the young thing babble incoherently, terrified, with her paw connected to a thorn. "Nightstar, why do you have no pity on this young thing? She looks like no FireClan cat to me." She said, nodding down at the small creature that cowered in the fired gaze of the dark and angry leader.

Nightstar looked to her warrior after listening to Dainty babble around like a frightened bumblebee. "She may not be, but you can never be to careful. With these FireClan cats learning more and more of clan ways I wouldn't put it past them to hide their scent with something." She looked back to Dainty, a certain looked passing in her eyes that said: you will not manipulate my clan, she-cat. "We'll take her back to our camp for now. Wether she can stay or not has yet to be decided. Come on, she-cat. " She turned aorund, knowing Dainty would come and Silvertongue would to.

Dainty was glad. She had been given a chance to infiltrate this 'clan' thing; but she kept a scared, timid look on her face. She trailed along after this 'Nightstar' cat. Nightstar was really annoying. Dainty wondered if she was important in this group of cats. If this was so, she was pretty sure her time here was going to be rubbish. But if there were toms around, she could probably cope. Dainty swished her tail; so far she hadn't met any toms here. What if it was some she-cat only place? She'd have to leave as soon as possible; she didn't get on well with other females. This reminded her. She turned around to look at the she-cat behind her. She was a bit strange. What was this Fireclan thing? Well, whatever it was, she was glad she didn't look like one of them because she could tell she wouldn't have gotton anywhere. But back to this Silvertongue. She was okay; obviously she'd fallen for Dainty's pathetic acting. Really, she did have to improve on that if she was going to keep it up. She snuck a small smile at Silvertongue. She would need friends to stay at this place and to keep well-fed; she couldn't be expected to get her own food anyway. Then she looked up; Nightstar was getting far away. She was very fast. She put her head down and hurried after the dark cat.
