She expected rto see her mentor and leader rushing out to welcome Dustpaw back but before he could she yelled to him again. "She won't come back! She says she isn't coming back to this ShadowClan alliance with those FireClan rogues! Says she doesn't want to be here and no matter what you do will bring her back!" She sat down, watching for her mentor's reaction. She flicked her tail and thought mutinously. What if I just killed Crueleye? FireClan would scatter once that piece of crowfood was gone...

Shadestar looked down at Flamepaw. "You tried, I'll give you credit for that. It's not a job done, but good enough, I suppose. Fine, let her be with another Clan. Whatever keeps her afloat, I guess," Shadestar really couldn't bother with the apprentice. He knew WindClan was WindClan, and she likely wouldn't feel safe without a den to sleep in, and would likely feel alone and alienated there. Whether or not she came back, she likely had punishment enough there. The black tom flicked his tail at Flamepaw and Ravenpaw, who were side by side. "You have run me many an errand, and have proven yourselves faithful to ShadowClan. Soon, you two will be warriors!" Ravenpaw's eyes seemed to shimmer with happiness. Flamepaw would likely be happy. "I would appreciate it if you two would attend a border patrol with Redeyes, Claws, Animal, Leopardfang, and Fireclaw. Cats already know we have FireClan on our territory, so we might as well show we have them. No use in hiding anymore, I guess."

Her dark green eyes flashed as she looked around, awaiting the cats that would go ith them on the patrol. Her purr was satisfied, her plan was falling into play at last! "Yes, Sahdestar. What you sayand order shall be done and completed." She bowed to her leader and mentor, giving him the utmost respect before soming up and talking again. "When do we depart?"
