[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=C4842D] Kitten: Lionfur Involved: Lira, Lioness Time: Two days after the last agthering Music: Battle of the Shadow Elves Notes: The last post he will make... Words: 763
The sun was high in the sky. He was on a walk out in the forest he had come to know as his home and comfort, but yet the place he lost and had never again found Dusky. How he missed Dusky. She was the only she-cat he had ever loved. He had intended to be mates with her when she had come to ThunderClan, because of the way he felt for her. But that wretched FireClan stole her away from him! Tears as hot and sharp as the tang of snow on your warm nose came to his eyes. He had stopped moving, and just stood there, clawing the earth. Up until now, he had kept his sorrow under neat control, never seeming any different than he used to. But now it was all spilling out.Sure, he had fathered a litter to a kittypet. But, that just wasn't the same. Then, he smelled her. It was the kittypet he had mated with about nine moons ago. And, he smelled another young she-cat with her!
Lira stepped out of the underbrush, a small golden tawny kit following her, her honey amber eyes wondering. Lira's golden eyes looked to Lionfur and softened. She purred, and urged the little she-cat forward. "Lionfur, this is your first-borne, Lioness. My house folk let me keep her. I named her after the great cat in your clan tales, and after you, but only in the female way. I hope you don't mind. My house-folk let me keep another kit, whom I named Bear, but he's so small and sickly right now I didn't want to bring him to see you. But, your duaghter and I have decided that she might like to live clan life with her father." She looked down to the golden tawny Lioness, and purred. "Lioness, this is your father. I must go back home now, to be with Bear. Lionfur will take good care of you." Lira walked back out, and Lioness steeled herself. She walked forward to her father, and spoke up.
"So, you are my father, correct? My mother has told me lots about you. You seem sad, why?" The little she-cat was curious as any apprentice age cat! He should have known... His chocolate brown eyes studied her. She would be a beauty when she grew up, that's for sure. She already was, but only in the apprentice sense of things. He drank in his duaghter's scent and winced. He was accepting this cat as his own duaghter, but yet her mother was not Dusky! It was some stray kittypet he had calmed when she was lost and had mounted her! He was about to wail in despair like a lost kit, but thought better of it. He finally spoke, his voice starting to crack with slight age.
"Yes, I am your father. I am Lionfur, Deputy of ThunderClan. I want you to follow me to camp, and we can dixcuss your joining of the Clan with Twinestar, the leader. As of right now, you are only Lioness. But, if Twinestar lets you join you will become known as Lionesspaw. You will also have a mentor. You are told what do to by your mentor so that you might learn and so him or her can easily teach you warrior skills. You seem brave enough to take on any challenge, even though you have half-kittyypet blood in you." He turned and started to walk, but soon heard a large cracking from above. He looked up in time only to hear Lioness scream and to see a fairly large branch fall on his back. A branch had snapped off of the Ancient Oak, and had fallen on his back.
He fell to the ground with a few snaps. He had broken his back, as well as one of his legs. He yowled in agony to anyone in ThunderClan who could hear. "StarClan have mercy on my soul! Just let ThunderClan take in little Lioness, my duaghter. I see you now, Mother. Take me..." His cries grew less and less as he finally gave a last twitch of his tail and died in front of Lioness, under that branch. She padded softly forward, her honey amber eyes wide in shock. She managed to roll thebranch off of him, but only to realize it was to late for her father. She had only just met him! Why?

the Cat* Twinestar the Noted* what?! the Number* 309
Twinestar had seen Lionfur walk out of camp, though he didn't see to be fairing well. Twinestar left him to himself, he didn't want to get in anyone else's business, considering he probably wouldn't want anyone stalking him out of camp. Don't go he thought. He knew Lionfur would be fine on his own, but he seemed kind of sad.
He wandered around aimlessly for a bit, forgetting all about his upset deputy. Then he heard a yowl. Not just any yowl, a screeching noise, and it was Lionfur's. Twinestar raced out of camp, all he could do to help Lionfur was to find him, at least right now. The noise wasn't to far away, and he found the spot. Under the Ancient Oak, he lay there, limp and lifeless.
"No! Lionfur!" he gasped. He could tell that Lionfur was dead, and he could do nothing about it. He looked up and saw a young cat, much like Lionfur, with a look of shock on her face. Immediately his eyes narrowed, and the fur on his hackles rose.
"What did you do?" he snarled. He didn't know what happened, but it appeared that a branch had fallen on Lionfur. Regardless, he didn't know the story, and had to assume that she had done it. at least until she told him.
Before the young she-cat had time to get away, or even do anything, he pounced on her, claws unsheathed. What was he supposed to do, let this rouge get away? He flipped her over and held her down, growling at her. She only seemed scared, and her face showed it. Still, until Twinestar knew what happened to his deputy, she would not get away. She squirmed, but she couldn't get away. "I'll ask again. What did you do?"

[atrb=border, 0, true][cs=1][bg=CCFFFF] the count;;217 the cat;; Leopardheart the involved;; Twinestar, Lioness the notes;; D<
"Twinestar!" Leopardheart hissed, seeing him pounce on the kit. She had been scouting out places to train her apprentice at, and had hear the sound of a branch cracking, yelling, and then Twinestar's shouts. When Leopardheart came to the edge of the bushes, she noticed the kit.
"This is a kit! What in StarClan's name are you doing?!" she arched her back at him, and glared at him from where she stood. Her muscles rippled, and her teeth were bared at the leader. "Don't hurt her, that's against StarClan's Sacred Warrior Code! Clan or not!"
Leopardheart's green eyes slowly moved over to a dead cat. He had the whole light tabby.. brown empty, emotionless eyes, a gaping mouth with yellowed teeth.. Lionfur! The deputy! Leopardheart wanted to run from where she stood and grieve for him, but this kit was more important. She looked like Lionfur.. but not completely. They must be related. Her eyes were tinged with brown, she was certainly still young. Leopardheart eased her position, and sat down, to not scare the kit. She curled her huge tail along her muscular body, and purred, to not come across as a threat. She didn't want this little kit running away. She'd never make it on her own.

She scrambled form underneath Twinestar's claws and raced to stand beside Leopardheart. She didn't hide behind her, but she stood a little bit in front of her, shaking, scared. Though she was scared and shaking, she managed to get out a few sentences that sounded brave and not scared. "My mother, Lira, brought me here to see my father, Lionheart. She left me with him to go back ot my littermate at her housefolk s next. She left me here to become a clan cat. I met my father, Lionfur, and then, as he was turning around to take me to the camp, a branch fell off that big tree, and hit him. It killed him. I rolled it off of him, hoping to find him alright, but..." then her voice cracked, and she looked down to her shaking paws, trying to still them. She muttered low under her breath. "I'm Lioness."
