[bg=5C00AD][cs=7] [kit] Dustpaw the edgy [words] 279 [notes] YOU WERE WARNED: contains swearing. TAG: Ravenpaw, Flamepaw, Leopardfang
Dustpaw trotted a little ahead of the other three, her two sisters and the 'deputy' for show for the Gathering. It was dark, and her pupils were large, taking in all the sights around her. It had been about half an hour since they'd crossed the border, and had scented nothing except stale Thunderclan piss.
Dustpaw sighed, and took a deep breath of the surrounding area. "Smells like the brambles aren't that far ahead." She meowed, turning to the three cats. Well, looked more like two except for a pair of floating eyes.
"You two wonder what you're warrior name is gonna be? I wanna be Dustfeather. Sounds nice." She said. Or, Drydusk had said to her earlier when she had set off. No one else had heard it though. Dustpaw wondered why Shadestar wasn't more like his brother, smart, rational, not power-hungry.
She wanted Crowstar back. Crowstar had died without knowing whether his little girl had survived, or if she was dead. "Fucking Fireclan." She let her thoughts slip. "Damn Shadestar. Bloody idiot. Stupid furball pile of SHIT!" She had to let it out.
"That idiot doesn't know what it's like in fucking Fireclan! I don't give a mousedung what Morningcloud did! Why didn't he banish her?! Stinking fucking Fireclan harem is just... Worse than fucking death!" Dustpaw spat and hissed, her fur standing on end.
"Shadestar is a crap leader. I want Crowstar back. Why the fuck did he have to die?!" She hissed, feeling tears coming from her eyes. "...Fucking Shadestar..." |

Kitten: Flamepaw Involved: Dustpaw, Ravenpaw, Leopardfang Music: No Good Deed from Wicked: A New Musical Notes: Shut up! We're in enemy territory! A little bit of swearing.
Her wounds from the earlier fight with the rouge stung a little, and as such she wasn't in the mood for the left oiut apprentice-warrior's moody rantings. To her question, Flamepaw replied. "I think I'd like to be Flameshade or Flamestorm, but honestly it's up to my mentor when I become a warrior." She looked staright ahead, all her senses alert. Then, her sister started ranting. Her calico fur bristling, she jumped on her, pinning her down. She shoved her face into hers and hissed.
"If you would shut up we might actrually get out of here undetected! Shadestar was right not to make you a warrior when you returned! Just because you were in the FireClan harem doesn't mean you have to bitch and moan about it every time you're out of FireClan's or Shadestar's hearing. Shadestar's sentence for Morningcloud was based on the hurt and betrayel he received on his part, and so he thought it was fitting. Have you forgotten the warrior code? It says that the clan leader's word is law! Now matter how much you whine and drag your tail around camp like a frightened lost kitten every time a FireClan cat comes near doesn't change a thing! You're back in ShadowClan now. So GET OVER IT AND STOP BITCHING!"
Her words weren't very loud, but the tone she said it in got her point across. She battered her sister's ears with sheathed claws, and jumped off of her, returning to her spot beside Ravenpaw. Her green eyes flashed furiously, and her tail lashed around. She had about bit into her older sister's throat to keep her from arguing on the manner. But she had kept her calm.
She looked trough the moonlit darkness with her dark green eyes and found a large spot of brambles. "We're there." she meowed with no hint of her earlier outburst. She went forward and started collecting some when she heard something. She perked her ears up, and listened. The sound went away and she continued to collect the brambles.

the Cat// Pinestep the Stalkerish the Noted// Doi what ya do fer luv the Number// 213 Pinestep had been following the four cats the whole way, listening to their outbursts. He didn't exactly know why he was following them, but he guessed it was to protect Flamepaw from anybody. Ever since... he couldn't stand the thought of someone hurting her. And to help her win, because as soon as the group had neared the brambles, he had decided to make sure she won. He was pretty sure that no Thunderclan cats were around, and started to turn when he saw Flamepaw's ears flick forward.
He didn't hear anything, but for all he knew it was probably him who had made the noise. He froze, and when he saw Flamepaw get back to gathering brambles, he began off. He found a nice thicket of brambles and began collecting them. He was on high alert, in case any cats were to come.
In the dark he couldn't see well in the dark, and relied on all of his hearing. He grabbed as many brambles as possible, and figured that was enough. If anything happened, he wanted to make sure that he could see Flamepaw. He slowly crept back over to the spot where they were, and settled down, keeping a careful eye on the four other cats.

[bg=5C00AD][cs=7] [kit] Dustpaw the pissed off [words] 202 [notes] TAG: Ravenpaw, Flamepaw, Leopardfang
"Get off me you mousebrained fool. Would you like to trade places? Would you like to be a toy for pushy bastards?" Dustpaw hissed. "Fireclan nearly killed me. Listen, my darling sister, I had a litter whilst I had been captured. All the kits died because they were female! Crueleye went and killed them all!"
Dustpaw would have wailed, but she was better than that. "You want to experience the feeling that Starclan have abandoned you, that your father died before he knew you were safe, that the thought of the tom you love falling in love with another?! Do you?!" She asked, her voice dangerously low and angry.
She flicked her tail, and went over to the brambles, pulling several off. The spikes on the plant dug into her fur and skin, catching her and ripping bits of fur off. 'Stupid furball. Who the hell does that idiot think she is? Oh, yes, Shadestar is so awesome, isn't he? She never experienced another leader. I hope Shadestar and Redeyes both die and rot in the Place Of No Stars...' The she-cat thought, pulling more brambles off with a grunt. |

Kitten: Flamepaw Involved: Dustpaw, Ravenpaw, Leopardfang, Pinestep Music: No Good Deed from Wicked: A New Musical Notes: Shut up! We're in enemy territory! She snapped her head back at her sister, and hissed. She narrowed her green eyes, and let out a low, menacing snarl. She had stopped messing with the brambles and just stood there. "You don't think I see that stuff every day? You don't think i'd like to do something about it? You don't think that you're acting like a softpawed kittypet who lost it's favorite toy? Listen to me now, Dustpaw, you may have lived it, but I have seen it many times over than I ever wished I would have. Yes, I do have sympathy for the cats that can't defend themselves. But you, Dustpaw, are a ShadowClan apprentice, and a daughter of Crowstar and Poppyclaw. You disgrace your father's memory by being a weakling. You could have found a way to escape or fight them off! I know you could have, but you just stayed there! Now you're back in ShadowClan, and trying to win the sympathy of every cat around you with your pitiful wailing. Even Poppyclaw tells me she'd wish you would stop. She wishes you were still a kit in the nursery so she could give you the reprimand you deserve! I may be the only cat in ShadowClan brave enough to speak out to you, but it's because I know if it comes down to a fight, I could beat you. I speak for most of the cats in the clan when I say these words, and I know Drydusk can't be very proud of you when you act like that, you stuck up, spoiled, softpawed whiney kitten!"She snapped her head back down to the brambles and waited for Dustpaw's reply.
She looked back up when she felt someone watching her. From the shadow's she saw the faint reflecting if a familiar cat's eyes. It was Pinestep. She blinked softly at him, then returned to her work.

"...how very dare you." Dustpaw said, her claws unsheathing slowly. "Sure, you may have seen it, but try living it. Yes, I can be a whiny brat, but I don't hide behind that facade of 'ooh look at me I'm so tough'." Dustpaw said, dropping her brambles.
"I can see when I'm not wanted. Tell Shadestar, Mother, the whole of fucking Shadowclan that I wish I'd never returned. I wish that you had never been born, and stupid dad hadn't made Shadestar the new freaking deputy." Dustpaw said, tears coming to her eyes. She looked away, so as for them not to see.
"I'm leaving. I may as well go drown myself seeing as none of you want to listen. A cat in the harem told me that a problem shared was a problem halved, yet you and Shadestar only want power. Your ambition is getting in the way of your loyalty to the Shadowclan there once was. Strong, powerful, feared, not having to turn to a group of rapists to strike fear into the hearts of other clans!" She hisse angrily, turning and leaving, and aura of pure hatred coming from her.
"Follow me, and I will kill you." |

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=101010] the count;; 719 the cat;; Ravenpaw the involved;; Leopardfang, Dustpaw, Flamepaw. the notes;;
Ravenpaw padded sneakily through the brambles, taking up the rear, as Leopardfang led. They had made it into ThunderClan territory under the mere light of the moon, and with no near ThunderClan cats. So far, all was well. I mean, as well as a mission to steal stuff went.
The whole group had walked around for an hour or so, and had collected multiple brambles for Morningcloud in the prisoner's den. Shadestar told her so when she asked what the brambles were for. Her heart pounded, and she was tense. However, she needed to be calm. If she lost herself.. well..
Looked like the other two apprentices would set an example fo when you got too tense and things went over the top.
Dustpaw broke out in anger. Ravenpaw glared at her, and then whispered for her to quiet down. She went ignored as the cat continued. Flamepaw then told Dustpaw to shut up, and started talking in a rather audible tone. She then swiped at Dustpaw. Ravenpaw knew Dustpaw wouldn't take that easy..
"Guys! We're all siblings! Calm down, lets get the brambles, hope StarClan will lead us out of here, and then just get our warrior names!" she whispered sharply, green eyes glaring. Leopardfang let them fight. Great. Wasn't really any of her concern if they got caught, as she could likely just fade right out as an experienced warrior.
Dustpaw went on.. more insults.. a threat of suicide.. Wait, did she just say that she wanted to kill herself?! Ravenpaw thought, looking at her sister. Her head was turned now though. And then she ran off, saying that if anyone followed, she'd kill them.
"I don't care, Flamepaw, Leopardfang. I'll bring her back, just you wait!" Ravenpaw said in a normal voice, and began running through the forest, after Dustpaw's scent. She dared not call her name, lest she give everyone's location away. No. She couldn't lose Dustpaw. What about her and Drydusk? What about the Clan? What about being a warrior? Did Clan cats who killed themselves go to StarClan? Too many thoughts, too many questions a small apprentice just couldn't answer. Everything will get better Dustpaw! Wait!
Ravenpaw appeared out of the forest, black pelt being blown by the wind on the moors. She found her sister's trail, and kept running. Flamepaw, look at what your temper has done now! This is my fault. I should have given you that play-thing back. Then you never would have tried to kill, felt anger.. you could have been a good cat.. Ravenpaw went as sneakily as she could on grass, and then saw a rock jutting out, before the moor. She took cover beside that, and then looked out. ".. Dustpaw?" Ravenpaw whispered, hoping the wind would carry the words to her ears. However, the wind just blew them back, away from Dustpaw. Ravenpaw looked up to a tree, where cawing came from. It sounded like a crow was laughing. She spotted it, and looked at it, wishing she could kill it. She was on Clan grounds though, no doubt that would attract attention.
Is Ravenpaw lost now? Ravenpaw doesn't know where she's going? Ravenpaw thought she could do something. Ravenpaw thought she was better. Caw, caw! she imagined the crow saying, laughing at her. Ravenpaw's going to be caught. Going to get shot. Ravenpaw caught no prey today. Caw, caw!
A cold breeze blew her fur, and Ravenpaw hissed, and ran back, listening to what she told herself. She was at the edge of the forest, and the looked back, to see the crow on the rock. Today Ravenpaw catches no prey! Caw, caw, caw!
And she though that, in the distance, she could see a ginger tabby on WindClan territory.
Ravenpaw trudged back to the group. They had moved a little bit, and had a few more brambles. "Hmph! Ravenpaw, don't do that. Shadestar would flip if Dustpaw and you went missing. Grab Dustpaw's brambles, and let's head home. I'll tell him exactly what happened. He'll just assume she drown. I mean, Drydusk won't be happy, and it'll ruin Shadestar and his ties, but, whatever. Don't need the grumpy tom anyways."

Flamepaw carried a large clump of brambles, but she knew Pinestep had more for her. Pinestep was going to follow behind and catch up at camp and she would have all the brambles. She shot Ravenpaw a look of scorn. "Why did you even bother? It was her own choice. She couldn't handle the pressure of facing the truth laid out before her eyes and she ran. She is no sister to me. Besides, she was asking for it. We're better off without that whining lump of fur that sits around and doesn't do anything btu try and win sympathy." She continued on, and got back to the camp before either of the other two she-cats. Pinestep had actually gone ahead, and was waiting for her with more brambles. She tok them gently from him and rubbed her muzzle against hers. Thanks, Pinestep." her soft voice was unusual to any ears, but she had come to the conclusion that she did love Pinestep. She left him and took her now very large bundle of brambles into the ShadowClan cats.

the Cat// Pinestep the Noted// Lovelovelovelovelove the Number// 287 Pinestep watched it all, masked behind the plants from all but Flamepaw. She alone knew that he waited there, to help her win. It was like he was the all-knowing, the only one who could see everything.
But even he couldn't of foreseen this.
The scuffle had been somewhat expected, but not Dustpaw leaving. No, that was totally crazy. He knew he couldn't run after her, or get her back. He couldn't risk letting everyone know he was there, and get reprimanded by Shadestar. No, he had to stay put. He didn't care so much for Dustpaw; she wasn't always so whiney, but she did get annoying sometimes.
He didn't really care anyways, but he did feel bad for Drydusk, the cat had always been nice enough. And he knew what love was like. But, nevertheless, it was like Dustpaw had been weighing him down. Well, not him specifically, but he knew Flamepaw didn't really like her, and...
The debate was over long ago, but still he wondered what it would be like for Drydusk. To have your love leave, for him, would be so entirely devestating. And he would think that it was all his fault. He shrugged the thought off, hoping that Flamepaw would never do that. Knowing that she would never do that.
He met up with her, as she was at the end of the group, and gave her the extra brambles. How beautiful she was, with the moonlight to compliment her.He silently slipped back into the shadows, unheard and unseen by anyone else, and waited. Soon, he would follow them all back to camp.
