[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=171717] the count;; 327 the cat;; Shadestar the involved;; Flamepaw the notes;; open, though the focus is going to be training soo
Shadestar had just left camp with his apprentice, his second. He felt petty, with only one apprentice fully trained, but he would make it up. Shadestar looked behind him, and saw Crowstar's son walking behind him. It's only been two sunrises since his ceremony. She's ready to go, Shadestar thought, as they walked through the forest, to the twoleg path, Shadestar kept thinking to himself. Crowstar had to have a good reason to make me deputy, right? I hadn't trained a second apprentice.. but if that's true, why does everyone think I'm stupid, and Drydusk should have been leader. Well, at least someone loves me, Shadestar thought, thinking of his mate, Morningcloud. He glanced back, making sure the apprentice behind him didn't fall back. He had left Solartail and Fireclaw to act as leader during his absence with his apprentice. We have three more sunrises until FireClan comes. I know I've been slacking off on getting a deputy, but Redeyes will want the spot, as I will be deputy over his Clan. Hopefully this whole thing isn't over my head..
Shadestar stopped, as he reached a dirt path, tangled with roots. "Flamepaw, this is the Twoleg Path. Twolegs walk here during sunrise during new-leaf, green-leaf, and leaf-fall. It's best to be quick around here, so a twoleg doesn't catch you,"
Shadestar sniffed the air. "The thing that's good about here for apprentices is the scents. Take in a deep smell, and you'll smell three major things. Twoleg, dog, and cat. Ignore the smells of the forest, and tell me which ones are the most dominant in this area," Shadestar looked at the calico apprentice near him. He'd likely get the right answer, as it was quite easy, at least for seasoned Shadestar. "You'll need this for hunting in the future," he noted, making sure Flamepaw was intent on learning.

Cats: Flamepaw, Shellkit Involved: Shadestar Words: 595
Flamepaw followed her mentor dutifully. She had chosen her as his apprentice, Shadetsra had. But why? That was the questioin she wanted answered. She figured she migh get a different cat, seeing as Shadestr might want to mentor one of his own kits. But, who knew? She was only Shadestar's second apprentice, so maybe he wanted another one, seeing as he had only trained one cat. She shrugged off the thought as they stopped at the Twoleg path.
Listening to wait her mentor and leader told her, she opened her maw. The scent that hit her strgonest was hard to delibirate. "Well..." she finally meowed. "The strongest scents that come to my maw, are all three, though some are staler than others. I would say a cat, most likely FireClan or ShadowClan, has passed this way about three days ago, and a dog and it's twoleg about two days ago. So... Wait a minute." She had smelt something interesting. She padded over to a large bush, tendrils hanging on the ground. She pushed some tendrils aside with her paw and got swap on the nose in return. She backed up, her fur bristling, fangs bared. "What are you doing on ShadowClan territory, scrawny imp of a cat?!" she asked, her voice pitched to a dangerous tone. Her form seemed to blacken in fury.
A young she-cat, only about one or two moons older than Firepaw herself, stepped out of the bush, her nose held high in the air, her light blue form skinny. You could easily count all her ribs. Her voice was high pitched and snobby as she spoke. "Daddy says we will be living in these lands in a few days, so I figured, why not check the place out. If anything, I should be the one asking what you are doing on FireClan territory?"
Flamepaw's hackles rose to their maximum height as she exploded. She jumped on top of the she-cat, pinning her to the ground. Her pupils were small with anger. "How dare you talk like that, snobby, flea covered, mangy, rat eaten, piece of crowfood! ShadowClan territory is and always will be ShadowClan territory, no doubt about it!" she swiped the she-cat's muzzle hard. A score of blood trickled down the she-cat's muzzle as the she-cat yowled.
"You little mousebrain! FireClan plan on taking all of the clan territories! With your ferocity, you'd make a good harlot. Why not tell me your name, and you''ll be spared in the fight?" her tone was piggish, and big headed. She was getting ahead of herself. Flamepaw didn't know what Shadestar was doing while this was transpiring, so she would go until her leader told her to stop. She bit the rogue's paw as she tried to sawipe at her. The she-cat screeched in pain and Flamepaw let go, spitting at her. "I'm not inclined to have kits my entire life! Why don't you tell me who you are, so I'll remember to rip you to shreds when we fight?!" The rogue's gray-blue eyes looked wide at her. There's a life other than having kits all your life? Huh... The rogue stopped trying to attack, and settled down. She answered snobby like. "My name's Shellkit, mangy, tick infested, twice bitten clan cat! Now let me up!" Flamepaw looked to her leader and mentor for permission. She still wanted to tear this snobby, rotten, mangy flea bitten creature to shreds.

Shadestar saw the kit, and decided to let his apprentice deal with it. Cocky kit, deserved a few rakings. After they were done fighting, and Shadestar was done listening to the young apprentice he hissed. "Enough of that! Sit down before I rip out your eyes!" Shadestar poofed out his fur, and eyed Shellkit. "Shellkit, I'd normally tell you to get off of the territory right away, but if you're a kit of FireClan, then you'll be meeting with ShadowClan soon enough, in which case Redeyes will come, and pick you up," The black cat also eyed his apprentice. "You have promising fighting skills, Flamepaw. Shellkit, I am Shadestar, Leader of ShadowClan, the Clan that will eventually be joining with FireClan. The territory will not become yours, it will become ours," Actually mine, and I hope this kit isn't telling me the plan that Redeyes has for us, Shadestar bared his teeth in just frustration, hoping the kit was just too full of itself.
Shadestar wanted to get the kit, to bring it back to ShadowClan, but he suddenly lost interest. "I can't train an apprentice and carry a tiny kit around. Where is FireClan staying right now?" Shadestar asked, going forward in a threatening pose, giving the kit the hint that if he wasn't told, Shellkit would be missing a chunk of fur.

Cats: Flamepaw, Shellkit, Dolphinfeet Involved: Shadestar Words: 525
Flamepaw's green eyes narrowed coldly back at the kit. She was a cocky bitch, to be sure... She slowly backed off of Shellkit. She lowered her calcio splotched bottom to the ground, and kept her sense alert as Shellkit got herself up and shook.
Another mission, the powers have called me away Another time to carry the colors again My motivation, an oath I've sworn to defend To win the honor of coming back home again |
"I don't really want to go back. The toms and other kits are very mean. I manage, but I dont't like being there." She said in her snobby voice. Her eyes kept shooting back at Flamepaw, egging her on to fight her, as if the little apprentice age kit could take her in this sorry state. Then, a blue pelt shot out of the same bush and went towards Shellkit. Not aware of who this cat was, Flamepaw shot up and onto the tom cat. No explanation will matter after we begin Unlock the dark destroyer that's buried within My true vocation and now my unfortunate friend You will discover a war you're unable to win The tom's blue pelt shot out of the way, and pinned the apprentice's tail down. His whiskers twitched and his dark blue eyes shone in luaghter at the apprentice. Flamepaw cursed at him, turning around and trying to fight him, but not being able to do much because of the tom's size. Then the tom saw Shellkit. All sense of humor faded from his form. He let go of Flamepaw and stepped over to Shellkit. She cowered down, and stared up at him, guilty, knowing what she had done wrong. "Shellkit... You know you are not to leav camp... You're mother is worrying her head off knowing you're gone. Plus, these cats don't know who you are!" He slipped the she-cat around the ears, his anger seeping through his every hair. He turned back to Shadestar, keeping one ear trained on his duaghter. I'll have you know That I've become
Indestructible Determination that is incorruptible From the other side, a terror to behold Annihilation will be unavoidable "I'm sorry Shadetsra, for my duaghter's foolishness. You probably don't remember me, but I am Dolphinfeet, one of the warriors who came with Redeyes to your camp. I remember that apprentice over there when she was still in the nursery. They get into all kinds of mischief, no?" His whiskers twitched in luaghter. Flamepaw spoke up, fuming. "That still doesn't give you or your duaghter the right to go tromping around like badgers through ShadowClan territory. Until we join at the camp, this territory is still ShadowClan's alone. Dolphinfeet looked back at the apprentice, whiskers twitching. "Wel little warrior, since you seem so intent on us leaving, why don't I take my duaghter and drag her back home and give you no more trouble?" Every broken enemy will know That their opponent had to be invincible Take a last look around while you're alive I'm an indestructible master of war!
Another reason, another cause for me to fight Another fuse uncovered now, for me to light My dedication to all that I've sworn to protect I carry out my orders without a regret
My declaration embedded deep under my skin A permanent reminder of how it began No hesitation when I am commanded to strike You need to know that you're in for the fight of your life

[/blockquote]
Shadestar hissed when Dolphinfeet touched the apprentice. He opened his mouth to speak, but soon the cat was off of him. Even though it looked like he was having fun, Shadestar glared him in the eye, even when he explained.
"Get your ass off this territory right now. If you touch any of my Clan like that again, I'll slit your throat," Shadestar gave no time to joke or converse with the other cat. He prowled up to the blue-gray cat, and touched his muzzle to the other cat's, and started him in the eye. "Oh, yes, I know you. But you still have two more sunrises until you can go tromping around the territory with Redeye's and I's permission. By StarClan, take the kit and just leave,"
Shadestar growled at Dolphinfeet, then backed up, and lashed around at his apprentice. "Flamepaw! I told you not to attack, did I not? And what did you do? You disobeyed my orders. Do that one more time and you will be punished." he hissed to the new apprentice. "Two more sunrises, Dolphinfeet. My warriors will still attack you like any trespasser until two more sunrises. If I wasn't training my apprentice, I would have picked up your kit, and whisked it away into ShadowClan territory," he half threatened, half warned. He narrowed his eyes, and then flicked his tail, directing Flamepaw behind him.
