[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=BE7228] the count;; 163 the cat;; Orangesky the involved;; Nightstar the notes;;
Orangesky walked right under the rock that was Nightstar's. He knew it was wrong to just barge into her personal space, but he had a pressing matter to discuss. About the past gathering, and the gathering that was going to happen that night.
"Nightstar! Look, I just wanted to know if you had decided whether I could go into ShadowClan and get the scoop on FireClan. We haven't heard of them for a moon, but, I figure I could run in there really quick, undetected, and come back with information, FireClan's evidence, and maybe a cat from their Clan." Orangesky pleaded. He was hoping for some awards afterwards, but his honorable warrior mask covered up most of his greed. "It could only bring good. We could drive ShadowClan out and--"
Orangesky paused, seeing that Nightstar hadn't said a word yet. Orangesky flicked his tail, and then bowed his head. "Sorry. I'm getting too ahead of myself. Nightstar, please?"

Her amber eyes studied him as she brought her head up from washing herself. Her eyes narrowed a bit at his request, and she heaved a sigh as she got up. She wrapped her tail around her paws as she spoke to her warrior. "First off, Orangesky, unless FireClan itself is attacking my camp, you should always ask permission before coming in here. It is just respect due to any leader, even by such a hasty warrior as yourself." She saw his face look a little crestfallen, and she went on. "But, your concerns are noted. I know how we all feel in this time, but I'm not sure I want to send any warrior in just yet. You are a stealthy, courageous, and headstrong warrior. I respect you for that. If I do decide to let you go, you will be rewarded, even if you don't come back with anything useful, seeing as this is such a dangerous mission." She didn't intend to tell him how she planned to reward him. She had watched him for many days, and he seemed ancy, like any young tom and his hormones. She knew she was infertile, barren... So, why not give him what he wanted? You didn't find many rogue or kittypet females out on these moors, and he would need watching over if he was to keep himself in check. She intended to help. She continued to think for a few more moments, letting the warrior think she was not going to let him go. "Orangesky, you may go into ShadowClan territory and scout. Do not bring any cat back, but just get as much information as you can without making it known you were there. When you come back, you will have a wonderful reward." She purred, then stepped out of her den, dismissing him.
