[bg=989898][cs=7]kit;; Milkydew the new leaderwords;; 104 notes;; First of three new leaders to receive his name and lives. This post is continued in S.T.A.R.clan's post. music;; Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Champion Battle Music ( ) Milkydew padded forward. The Moonpool was so bright, and he took a deep breath. Waterpelt and Addertongue were outside, and Milkydew knew he wasn't the last new leader. He took another deep breath. Drowningstar had been dead for five days, and word had it that Crowstar was also dead! He wondered about Twilightstar and Patchstar, and hoped to Starclan those two leaders didn't greet him. Gently, Milkydew placed one paw in the pool, and lay down next to it, thinking about Drowningstar. He sighed; who would give him his lives? He chuckled gently, and closed his eyes, drifting into a deep sleep. |

Milkydew walked forwards, and was met by a familiar she-cat. His elder sister, and former medicine cat of Riverclan. She had died in the old territory, and was still buried there. She had died of the illness that had struck. The two cats purred as they met each other.
"Brother Milkydew." The she-cat grinned. "Are you ready to receive your nine lives?" Icefur asked. Milkydew hesitated a little, then nodded. Icefur touched noses with him, and smiled "I give you honesty, use it well in the coming days.." Icefur smiled, and stepped aside to reveal another cat.
It didn't take Milkydew two seconds to recognise just who the tall white cat was. A smile spread across his face; it was his father. "Milkydew." The old tom said roughly, touching noses with his son. "I bestow upon you courage. Milkydew, use it well against the fire." Magicpelt joined his daughter, and Milkydew walked quite a ways forward now.
He was met by a small kit, a cute one at that. It had to be his lost daughter, Featherkit. She smiled at her father, and they touched noses. "Father, I give you strength, use it well for the wellbeing of Riverclan." The kit said, before bounding away to Icefur and Magicpelt. Milkydew took a deep breath, and walked forward again.
"My son," Came a voice so sweet. Milkydew at first did not recognise the sweet voice, but it was his mother, Hollydew. Milkydew was ecstatic, meeting his mother for the first time, but he needed to be serious now. "I give you charisma. Use it to keep the other clans in line." The she-cat smiled, touching noses with him, and going to the other three cats.
"Milkydew," Milkydew was now met by the bright-eyed cat that was his sister, Gemclaw. She had died on the way here, and was buried in the mountains. "I give you forgiveness. You'll need it, but use it right." Gemclaw said, and stepping away from her brother after touching noses.
Milkydew recognised the cat before him now. It was Flowertree, a loya and pretty warrior of Riverclan, and Deadfoot's mother. She touched noses with him before speaking. "Milkydew, I give you thoughtfulness. The descions you will make are going to be hard, use this well." And then, she joined the others.
"Milkydew, I give you stamina. These nights will be long, and your clan near to giving up... I hope it serves you well." His first apprentice, Cloudpaw spoke up. She was Deadfoot's brother, and had died shortly after he was medicine cat. The two cats touched noses, and Milkydew was nearing his last two lives.
Now it was Flightfeet, a denmate and a cat who he had trained with. Flightfeet had been annoying, but his death a surprise. "Milkydew, I bestow upon you justice. Pray that your clan is just and right, and use this well." Flightfeet said, touching noses with his old friend.
Milkydew had to run now, and run he did. There, standing at the very end of his path, was cranky, bitter old Drowningstar. He was fond of the old she-cat, but this was hurting him. She would give him his leader name, and his last life...
Drowningstar stood tall, the same size as Milkydew. Her fur had stars tangled in it, and her eyes shone like gems. "It's about time you got here," Drowningstar growled. "I'm not willing to die of old age while waiting for you to come here," she looked in Milkydew's blue eyes with her yellows, and blinked, breaking the gaze. "Milkydew! With this life I give you dominance, your continuing faith in StarClan, the ability to make good choices, and the ability to lead your clan properly!" Drowningstar reached forward to touch noses with Milkydew. When she did so, a feeling like lightning and fire burning Milkydew at the same time ran through his fur. "Resist the fire. Make RiverClan strong. And keep an eye out for ShadowClan." With that, the stars and StarClan began to fade away.. in no time, Milkydew would be beside the Moonpool again.

[bg=989898][cs=7]kit;; Milkydew the new leaderwords;; 145 notes;; finished~ music;; rubber lover - marmadukeduke It was all over. Milkystar woke up, feeling stronger, wiser, and more like a leader. His white fur bristled as he stood up, and he licked his paw, and ran it over his head. Milkystar let out a sigh. It was going to be hard getting used to being leader. Slowly, he took his paw out of the Moonpool, and stood up, wiping the shining liquid off of his paw. He stood tall, proud, and most of all, strong. He sheathed and unsheathed his claws gently, trying to get used to his new name. Slowly, he padded away from the Moonpool, and towards the two she-cats. He nodded at them both, and looked at Waterpelt. "We have to get home now. The clan will be waiting for us." The new leader said, stepping in front of the she-cats, and leading the way home. |
