[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=12B076] Kit;; Hollythorn the happyish Words;; 283 Notes;; she feels something is up
Snowpatch was home. She had taught Hollythorn so well, her second mentor hadn't been anywhere near as good as Snowpatch had been. Her mismatched eyes flicked over to Orangesky, softening as she looked at her brother.
"Orangesky... What did you think when Nightstar said Crueleye was her father?" Hollythorn asked, trotting over the moor. There was an odd look in Orangesky's eyes, like the nightmare she'd had about her father. It was nothing. It couldn't be anything bad.
Hollythorn reached the hill, and sat down, the wind picking up a little. Her mismatched eyes looked up at the sky, wondering if Crueleye was in the Dark Forest. Her uncle would be too, but her aunt and cousin would be in Starclan; they had done nothing wrong.
Hollythorn sighed as her brother sat beside her. If a cat ever did take him for a mate, they'd be in luck. He was a handsome tom, but that look in his eyes scared her. It was like her father's. She shook her head, looking back up at the sky.
"Sometimes... I miss being in Fireclan. I don't know why... But Mum wasn't as distant in Fireclan. She'd tell me stories every night... Or maybe I've just grown up..." Hollythorn mused, sighing gently again.
Her long fur was being blown around by the wind, and she felt her bones shiver. Leaf Fall was on it's way. Greenleaf didn't last forever. The young rabbits were now quite large and such. Hollythorn did really wish she could have kits, but all the toms in her clan were too old, or related to her. |

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=BE7228] the count;; 369 the cat;; Orangesky the involved;; Hollythorn the notes;; geez wtf sista.
Orangesky looked over at Hollythorn, who was giving him the occasional strange look. Hey, you're not helping me calm down, so stop looking at me like that! Orangesky thought, looking back at Hollythorn. I just can't help myself when I'm alone with a mature she-cat, even if she is my sister,
The orange tabby tried to relax himself the best he could, but it wouldn't work. He just decided to talk, answer her questions, and hopefully he wouldn't get any more aroused by his sister. When she asked about Crueleye being Nightstar's father, he sighed, and then answered.
"I buy it. How many cats has Crueleye raped? There's nobody related to us in this Clan, really, which is unfortunate. If Crueleye wanted the downfall of the Clans, he was doing it right, as now the adults have to quickly take mates, and our generation probably won't get much blood in it," Oranesky aswered, wishing there were some unrelated females. He was tempted. Hidepaw, when she grew a little older.. they were cousins, but what of it? Stop thinking that way. Stop it. We're still related, closely.. Fox dung, this really sucks. I don't want to mate with half-clanners, Orangesky had a huge drive to mate, and right now, Gladefeet was the only real female on his radar, and she wouldn't be too willing, taking into consideration that she was deputy. Hopefully, if I can get that far, she won't tell the father, so I'll be free to breed again, Orangesky noticed he was getting too excited about this again.
"I like it here. Even though, in FireClan, I could get all of the females I wanted, it wouldn't be the same. Not all toms are like that, taking up a breeding whenever they can. You wouldn't like it either, others would force breed with you often. It'd be disgraceful and disgusting. I'm happy we're here," Orangesky brushed his fur up against Hollythorns, and looked over the head, at the occasional rabbit hunting. He resisted every drive in his body, and spoke up. "Alright, let's go for a hunt?"

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=12B076] Kit;; Hollythorn the happyish Words;; 190 Notes;; They can do it if Orangesky really wanted. He could feed her with Poppy Seeds or something.
Hollythorn listened to her brother. She knew he was a bit like their father; he wanted a bit of fun here and there, but who wouldn't? She nodded as he suggested hunting.
"Okay." The ginger she-cat nodded, trotting down the hill. Slowly, she got down into a stalking position, delibrately lifting her tail and swishing it back and forth to see if Orangesky would take the chance. If he did, Hollythorn would be disgusted, but she wouldn't dare tell anyone. What would Leafsong thing of him if she did?!
Her eyes kept flicking up to where her brother was, or should have been. He wasn't there anymore. The thought of what he was capable of doing to her freaked out Hollythorn, but she had to hunt.
She watched the rabbit gleefully, and shot off from the ground, pouncing on it, extinguishing it's life with one swipe, dealing a blow that was enough to kill a large apprentice.
She picked up the rabbit and trotted back up the hill, tail held high, head held high, and she dropped it, looking around for her brother. |

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=BE7228] the count;; 315 the cat;; Orangesky the involved;; Hollythorn the notes;; He's probably not going to do it with his sister, but who knows.
Orangesky noticed Hollythorn raising her tail up, and he had to resist, again. She's your sister. It looks like she's asking for it, but she's not. She's my sister, Orangesky adverted his attention from her pose, and went off in a different direction to hunt rabbits. He pushed thoughts of his sister out of his head with thoughts of Gladefeet.
Orangesky spotted a brown rabbit just ahead, blending in quite well with the moor grass. Orangesky got down, and slowly paced towards the rabbit, as sly as he could. He was about 3 yards away when he decided to dash after it.
The ginger tabby ran after the animal, who was twice as fast as him. However, Orangesky kept his ears, eyes, and nose open, making she he was trailing this rabbit.
It was a five minute chase, and the rabbit was starting to run out of energy. Orangesky summed up what he had left, and sprinted. He quickly caught up with the tiring rabbit, and the hunt was over. Some of the rabbits had been scared a little, and he could hear some of them running, but he wasn't going to chase after them, as this one was still alive.
He kept his jaws wrapped around the rabbit's neck, hoping to quickly suffocate it. He pressed hard on the back of its neck, and, eventually, the rabbit's movements to escape became more sluggish, and it slowly died. Orangesky picked up the limp rabbit, and carried it over to Hollythorn. He noticed her tail was raised really high again, and he adverted his gaze from her behind, and walked over to her side.
"Don't do that. Some horny tom could rape you, okay? You look like you're asking for it," Orangesky dropped the rabbit, and looked at her. "Should we head out, or catch some more?"

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=12B076] Kit;; Hollythorn the happyish Words;; 204 Notes;; :P
Hollythorn laughed at her brother's words. "The only 'horny tom' round here was our father, and he's dead. And maybe I am asking for it, coz I want kits." Hollythorn giggled, licking her paws. "I think we should keep hunting. Most of these rabbits will die in Leafbare so we're doing 'em a favour."
Hollythorn grinned as she placed her rabbit next to her brothers. She was surprised; he wasn't as desperate as their father had been, but he had that hungry look in his eyes. I hope he doesn't turn out like dad did. She thought, trotting back down, swishing her tail.
The thought of what her brother was capable of went straight from her mind, and she acted as if he wasn't related to her. Why? She didn't know. Slowly, she lifted her head, and looked back at Orangesky.
"You coming, or have you got bees in your brain again?" She said, her eyes half open. She was pretty tired, but she didn't care. She needed to hunt for the clan. Heck, maybe Orangesky would give her kits - Starclan help her if he did. |
