As SOTC v.3's first summer sets in, it's time for the first contest.
This contest will be an advertising contest. Go on as many sites as possible, link-back, request affiliation.. whatever! This contest is big, and a big contest calls for big prizes!
First Prize: 500 Blossoms, plus a one-colored name!
Second Prize: 250 Blossoms!
Third Prize: 100 Blossoms!
Runner-Up: 50 Blossoms.
If you get one of those places, you get a shiny medal to go in your profile as well. Pretty, right?
Now, you will be collecting points for every site you advertise. You must link the site you advertised on this topic. Please make only one post to put all of your links!
Here is how much methods of advertising are used:
Linking Back: 1 Point
Advertising: 2 Points
Affiliating: 5 Points
Everyone who gets over 50 advertising points gets a strange marking in their cats fur. But, wait, there's more!
Everyone who gets over 150 points in advertising gets a special limited edition prize, a small wild cat of their choice. This can be anything from a Margay to an Ocelot, or even a Serval! Just have them be about the same size as a cat. This prize will likely NEVER be given out again, and you can only get one-- so I'd try your hardest to get 150 points!
You can win both prizes.
Now, there are rules as well.
1. No posting twice on a site. See if you can check the first couple of pages for another member's post.
2. Do not an advertisement in the cbox.
3. After linking back on our site, leave a post in the board telling you've linked back.
4. Post using your name when advertising.
5. Always ask for a admin's permission before requesting affiliation.
6. Always follow the other site's rules.
Failure to follow these rules will result in a loss of points.
-- Posting twice on a site will make you lose four points
-- Posting an advert in someone's cbox unless advertising is allowed will make you lose 15 points.
-- Not telling you've linked back will make you lose 2 points.
-- Not using your name when advertising will result in your points not counting
-- Not requesting admin's permission will take away 5 points.
-- Not following another sites rules will make you lose 10 points.
-- Constant breaking of these rules will result in disqualification.
