[bg=989898][cs=7]RC CATS ATTENDING GATHERING: Milkystar, Blacksnow, Owlfrost Tigerfrost, Dewdrop, Blossomfire, Addertongue, Legacyfang, Stormcall, Ripplefang, Runningfeather, Mothflight. Milkystar led his clan from RiverClan territory towards the lake. Today, it wasn't frosted over, but everyone could swim, so they swam accross. He shook off his fur as they made it across. Funny. They were the first to arrive. It was unusual for his clan to be first. Usually, it was ShadowClan or ThunderClan, and on teh odd occasion WindClan, but hardly ever RiverClan. He settled up in his tree whilst his clan sat around and talked, waiting for the other clans. Either, RiverClan was early, or, very late and everyone had gone. Or, everyone else had forgotten. Milkystar had been very hesitant getting together everyone this quickly, but he'd managed it, and here they all were. He'd decided against bringing apprentices, but the three new warriors who had been made warriors yesterday had been dragged along. Now, all he needed was to wait.

[Cats] Twinestar, Badgerpaw, Stormcall [Words] 524 [Notes] Anyone from TC can come. Stormcall is kind of depressed. And Badgerpaw is paranoid.
Stormcall swam across the river, and once he reach land, he bagan to shiver. Not so much because it was cold - though it was, to some extent - but because of the lack of cats. They were the first ones there, strange and unusual, and he wondered why. This was the second time that Shadowclan had not ben the first ones there, and they had. He wondered it any Starclan cats were looking down on them tonight. At least, Nightstar would be.. he hoped.
He looked across the river, and saw Thunderclan coming in the distance. He sighed - out of relief- and took a spot. He was a bit happier, having been made into a warrior, but not much. He still loathed Tigerfrost. They were brothers, yes, but how could he not? Tigerfrost was made into a warrior long before him, yet they were still the same aga. Everyone looked down on him for that. And, Tigerfrost already having kits on the way, when he just became a warrior? How, why, would his father do that? Just because Tigerfrost was a, how should he put it, less restrained fighter? Snowpaw was his brother too, but at least he could see that every time a cat died in the forest, the clans became more unsettled. What had he done to displease his father so? What was wrong with him?
Twinestar stood at the very edge of the river, deep in thought. It was no longer frozen over, but the log was. But that was not so much of a concern - Riverclan was there, and they would help. However, it was only Riverclan. And that was a problem. Shadestar was late, again? Why? Orangestar was a new leader, yes, so maybe it would take a couple meetings to adjust. But, was Shadowclan building up their 'army'? What else would take them so long?
"Be extremely careful. The log is still somewhat frozen over. Take as much time as you need, I wouldf hate to have to jump in and get you if you fell." Carefully and slowly, he got on the log. It wasn't too slippery, but he was cautious, and ever slowly made his way over. Finally, he made it to the island, and went straight to Milkystar. He needed to talk.
"Is Shadowclan late again? Milkystar, I fear that this may not bode well. Shadowclan is smart, sneaky. Maybe they are late purposefully to induce fear, but maybe not. I suppose we will just have to wait and see. Still, I fear the worst - what, with the Dark Forest looking down on us, and favoring Shadowclan?"
Badgerpaw slowly crossed the log, as his father instructed him. When he reached the other side of the island, anxiety swept over him. There were two clans here. Two unnaccounted for. It could just be like last time, but what if... not that wasn't possible. Was it? Could Shadowclan have left after, and gone to another clan? What if the cats back at Thunderclan were being murdered right now? He looked up at the moon, blood red. The Dark Forest was watching. What could this meeting bring?

[Cats] Dewdrop, Sparklingstream, Legacyfang [Words] 578 [Notes] gatherings are cool : D
Dewdrop walked cautiously over the log and onto to the island. She chose a spot and sat down. Dewdrop barely noticed that RiverClan was the first clan there or that ThunderClan arrived shortly after. Dewdrop was too worried. She was heavy with kits now but she had no idea when they would come. Owlfrost hadn't even been able to tell her how many there were, which left her a bit frightened. She badly wanted her first litter to be perfect and her biggest fear was that one of them would die. In this time, where The Dark Forest reigned and StarClan couldn't watch over them, what happened to dead cats? Would her poor kit - or kits - be confined to The Dark Forest after its death?
Dewdrop shivered. The thought terrified her. She turned to Tigerfrost, who was sitting beside her and cuddled up close to him. "Tigerfrost," she said, her voice shaking. "What happens if one of our kits dies? I mean, normally they go to StarClan, but, the red moon at that gathering and stuff...Other cats were saying The Dark Forest is watching more than StarClan. I'm just worried, that's all..." Again, Dewdrop trembled. She stared at the log, waiting for WindClan and ShadowClan to come so she could go home. She felt much safer in camp.
Legacyfang was in the middle of the RiverClanners, preferring not to mix. He sat there drearily, staring into space. He looked at Milkystar and felt a twinge of annoyance. He had still not forgiven Milkystar for what happened to Seamist; but at least Destinycall was not here. Legacyfang was convinced that Destinycall had lead Milkystar astray and that he was actually a good cat underneath it all. However, he was at a Gathering now and could show none of his dislike for his leader or his leader's mate so he sat up tall, trying send out the message that he was a strong powerful warrior and that other cats shouldn't try to attack RiverClan. It was a silly thing to do but it was the only thing he could do.
Sparklingstream was just preparing to cross the log. She didn't like water much and had no intention of falling in. Going to a gathering wet was, to Sparklingstream, one of the most embarrassing things to happen. Gingerly, she put out one paw on the log and then another, until, five minutes later she'd crossed. It was a good thing she was the last cat from ThunderClan to cross, or there would be a lot of complaints from cats behind her.
Now she was across, Sparklingstream felt she could enjoy herself. Gatherings were so much fun for her. She enjoyed meeting others and hearing news from other clans, even if the news lately wasn't the best and tended to be a bit depressing. To her, it didn't matter if the Dark Forest was watching over them for the rest of the time, StarClan would always be watching over them on a full moon. Even if this wasn't true, she liked to believe it.
She decided to sit on the edge of the ThunderClan group so she could talk to some RiverClanners. She sat down beside a large black and white RiverClan tom who she'd heard was called Stormpaw. "Hi there!" she said cheerily. "Are you called Stormpaw still or are you a warrior now?"

Orangestar lightly ran across the ice, making his way to the island, and jumping onto the shore, and promptly unsheathed his paws which he used for traction. Several other cats, including Snowpatch and Cloudrunner, entered the island. Only a few warriors came.
"I though I didn't see ShadowClan. I sent most of my cats home for that reason.." Orangestar's fur was prickled, and he looked around the island, making sure ShadowClan wasn't there at all, like he guessed.
Orangestar bowed his head. "I'm sorry I was late. I say we give ShadowClan a kit's paw of the moon before we begin without them. They didn't seem to happy at the last gathering, so if they haven't come now, it makes me wonder if they ever will.."

[bg=989898][cs=7]Milkystar snorted. "They better get here soon. I have important news to tell." he meowed. He was truthful too; he had to pass on what Mudstripe had told him. It was very important that he learned of any newborns in any clan. He recited the prophecy in his head. 'a dry acorn covered in soot hidden beneath a poppy in the shade to hide from sin where the flame of the raven and crow cannot reach it and dawn and twilight collide in a burst of light where she is subdued by the wind and shadow but when the fire comes the forest shall turn to dust and be forever twined with silk.'He let out a harrumph. Some of the stuff, like dawn and twilight collide, he had a fairly good idea who they were (Dawnkit and Twilightkit). Wind and Shadow would be WindClan and ShadowClan, but a fire that shall turn the forest to dust? That didn't sound too good, unless 'dust' was a cat? No... Fire turned things into dust...

Cats: Nightstar, Blacksnow, Tigerfrost, Mothflight, Lionesspaw
Her starry form was hidden from all of the others. As a StarClan cat, she had precedence here. As long as she was here, and no Dark Forest cat imouded on this moon, she was able to protect these cats from the view of the Dark Forest. Or so she had been told, and so she thought. she wasn't entirely at all sure though, that that piece of information was correct. She let herself be seen as she hopped onto a rock that was fairly high. she could see the entire clearing, and hear everything being said. She wasn't as high up as the leaders, but she was higher up than the deputies. She sat there, brooding, her bright eyes tracing every movement in the clearing. Every tail swich, every ear flcik, she was able to catch.
Blacksnow entered the islan not to long after her father, with Tigerfrost, Mothflight, and the other warriors coming in after them. She bounded straight up to the tree, sitting at it's roots. She looked up to her father, beckoning with her tail. "It has been confirmed, father. a litter of kits, Acorn and Soot. Mother being of Dust, father of Dry. Family of Raven and shade, under the poppy. the Dust is of Wind and shadow, and the silk is twined." She hoped her father understood what in StarClan she was saying, for she didn't care to alliborate with the other clans here. sHe just hoped he understood what she had said.
tigerforst, his white pelt with gray stripes, seemed to glow tonight. He was going to be a father soon!
Mothflight came in besides Runningfeather, his oelt softly touching against hers. He leaned over gently and whispered into her ear. "Oh, a gathering. whatever shall we do to have some time alone?" He was of course, just joking around, and she would be ab;e to tell that by the tone of his voice.
Lionesspaw came in with ThunderClan, settling into a wamr spot quickly. Her fur was fairly short, and that kept her from being to warm.

Milkystar swished his tail. ShadowClan were late. "We may as well begin. I doubt Shadestar shall come tonight. His clan will be punished for this." he sighed, and stood up.
"Cats of ThunderClan, RiverClan and WindClan. I received a prophecy from my daughter's late mate. He left the Silverpelt to the Dark Forest to tell us a prophecy, one that I fear may change the balance of the clans forever." he paused, as if for effect, then began reciting the prophecy.
"A dry acorn covered in soot hidden beneath a poppy in the shade to hide from sin where the flame of the raven and crow cannot reach it and dawn and twilight collide in a burst of light where she is subdued by the wind and shadow but when the fire comes the forest shall turn to dust and be forever twined with silk."
Whipsers ran through the crowd, and he watched them with his eye, studying their reactions. Some cried out at the forest turning to dust being a horrendous thing; the end of everything.
"Myself and Owlfrost have conferred together. 'Twilight' is my daughter, Twilightkit. 'Dawn' my other daughter, Dawnkit. Please, if you have any new kits in your clan, think about the words, and try to match them with the kits."

Jaypaw listened to Milkystar, and mused on his last comment.
"Light.... Ba-Badgerpaw! Light could be our new cousin, Lightkit!" she meowed, nudging her brother from his vegetative like state. She coughed, and raised her voice. "Milkystar, I think 'light' is our new cousin, Lightkit." she said, looking down at her paws when everyone shushed her.

Twinestar glanced down. 'And forever be twined with silk'. Perhaps, he would not have picked out his own name, had it not been for silk. It was obvious to him that it was Silktail - and he felt a pang of grief. However, he was not sure that he wanted to reveal that - not yet. There was always the possibility that someone else could notice too.
"Yes, indeed. As my daughter pointed out, I believe that it is quite possible that 'light' was referring the the newly-born Lightkit. However, I am not sure about some of the other cats. This will be tough." He mewled to Milkystar, hoping that he sounded genuine.
Badgerpaw shook his head for a moment - coming back to reality. "Uhh, yeah. It's probably Lightkit." he murmured, his mind not there. He was busy thinking about the Dark Forest. Finding a way to get around everything. He wondered what the prophecy meant. It sounded like a bad omen, but something told him that it wasn't as bad as it sounded.
Cloudrunner looked around. He sighed, and he decided that he would not head home exacty as planned. With the Dark Forest still watching them, where was a better place to think than at the Moonpool? He would go there tonight; not to ask any Starclan cats what the prophecy meant, but to clear his head. It seemed that things were going so quickly now - it might do him good.
Stormcall turned to the cheery cat next to him. "Yeah, I'm a warrior now. Stormcall. Uhm..." he stuttered. "Well.. how are you?.."

"Oh good, that's great," Sparklingstream said, beaming at the cat named Stormcall. She could see he'd been a bit caught off guard by her cheeriness or that he at least hadn't really expected to have anyone talk to him. That was quite funny, really. Well it wasn't but she decided she was going to keep the conversation going. "I'm good, you? Don't you think the moon is a bit creepy? I think it's bit strange, but maybe StarClan are still watching over us, yeah? I wonder if ShadowClan will come; I think Milkystar was right to start without them. Do you know anyone in the prophecy? I think there's a cat called Dust-something in WindClan but I don't know many cats yet," Sparklingstream said, chattering away.
