the Cat// Twinetail the N/e/r/v/o/u/s the Noted// Oh leadership! the Number// 250
Twinetail trekked through the forest carefully, following the guide that Burningflame had givin him. Well, following to the best of his abilities. He had left Lionfur in charge, and hoped to get an answer out of Silktail when he got back. He desperatey needed to know if she wanted to go to the cutter's or not. He didn't know what to think, only that he wanted whatever she wanted. She knew what was best for her, anyways.
He hoped that his kits were behaving, and looked over his shoulder to reassure himself that they had not followed him. He could only remember Jaykit's soaking fur, and Badgerkit's startled exppresion. No more sneaking around, he thought.
He wondered what had driven Patchstar to leave, wondered why he was walking this path right now. He was glad that no one had died for him to get this position, but was this... right? He shook the feeling off, forgot about because he knew in his heart that him leading the clan was better than the distant Patchstar.
He sighed, and looked ahead. He saw what looked like shining light, and broke into a run. This was what he'd been waiting for. He arrived, and skidded to a stop just before he splashed into it. The sparkling water was shining with life, and he took care to get down into acomfortable position. well... here goes, he thought, lapping up the water. Then he fell into a very deep sleep.

the Noted// Woohoo!!! the Number// 1464
Twinetail opened his eyes, and it took him a moment to figure out what was happening. "I'm here! Wow," he murmered, gazing in amazement at the beauty of ot all. And he was here to become th leader of Thunderclan. He waited, and the time, though only a few minutes, was already killing him. Where were the beautiful cats with the stars in their pelts. Where were the cats who were supposed to be there to greet him. "Is anyone here?" he asked, his voice echoing, and it gave him and edgy feeling. Like there was nothing but emptiness. He knew that could not be the way, but where was everyone?
He shook his head, trying to figure out what was happening. Suddenly, the colors brightened, and everything was clear, including the shining cats that stood before him. They looked as if tey had been there the whole time, waiting for him. Wow... was all he could think. Suddenly he realized that it would be happening now. He was going to become a leader, NOW!
Then a cat padded foward, one he would never forget. Old memories rushed back, and he felt lightheaded. "Newpelt," was all that could get past his lips. Tears filled his eyes, as he remembered her as she used to be. She stood before him, looking at him calmly. "I trust that you are taking good care of my daughter, hm?" she asked with a smile, though in her eyes he could see sadness. His throat couldn't get anything out, but he nodded. He knew that this was where theceremony began.
[color=red"Obviously, I need no introduction,"
she muttered, her voice low but clear enough that she could here him. Once again, he nodded respectfully, and this time was able to speak. "You are correct. I would never need an introduction to know you," he smiled. She let out a small laugh, before her tone got serious, "Yes, I know. Prepare for your first life." She moved foward and stood there, and an odd feeling spread throughout his body. It felt wierd to him, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. She backed away, and looked at him. "With that life, you will be able to help your clan. It will help you to know what the right thing to do is, and some hard choices will become clear," she told him. She brushed up beside him, beforeleaving the middle of the circle, and stepping back out to the ring with a smile on her face. Thank you, Newpelt, he thought to himself, a feeling of satisfaction that he was so close to being leader. Of the seven to go, another cat stepped out. small, but with golden fur that shne with stars. He looked at her quizzically, trying to figure out who he was. He did not know. He moved foward, slightly anxious, but feeling powerful. He knew that he had to be confident in himself, if he were to lead a clan. She too, moved foward, until they were face to face, less than a mouse-length apart. "I am Sunpaw, sister of Lionfur, here to give you your next life," she said elegantly. He connected what she had just said, and made an image of Lionfur in his mind. Yes, they looked quite alike. "Are you ready for your next life?" she asked him, and before he could answer, she pressed her muzzle into his fur, and a sharp pain went through his body. He bit back a suprised yelp, and stepped foward. "This life will give you tolerance. Realize that some cats are capable of more than what you give them credit for," she smiled. His muscles ached, but he dipped his head as she moved back to the ring of eight. Another cat left the ring to come to Twinetail. He gave off an air of familiarity, and then Twinetail remembered who he was. "Robinleaf," he whispered under his breath. He looked to the large warrior as he stepped closer. "Twinetail, hello. I will give you your next life. With this, you will not forget that some cats are givin the misfortune of being born into a bad situation. Never lose sight of this. Try to help these cat, Twinetail, and maybe you'll make Thunderclan the best there ever was." The large tom told him, before they touched noses and a wave of pain went through him. Then, it was gone, along with the cat. Then a small, cream-colored kit came to him. Twinetail morned the loss, she was an adorable little thing. "Hiya!" she mewled, bouncing up. He looked down at her, so small and helpless, yet with brilliant stars shining in her pelt. "I'm Featherkit, and I'll give you you're fourth life! This one will help you to protect your clan, and the kits from any clan, like me..." she said, her eyes dropping at the last part. Then she looked up, and he crouched down. She moved closer, and when she touched him, he felt a warm, sweet sensation run through him. To quickly, though, a seering pain came, and then the feeling disappeared altogether. He nodded, and she hopped off like any little kit would. Next, a white cat came to the center of the circle. At the sight of her, Twinetail burst out. "Snowleaf!" he exclaimed. She nodded, approaching him slowly. "Yes, hello Twinetail. This will be your fifth life. Use this power wisely, as this next power, the one that I'll give, will help you to protect your clan. It' will help you to ease their pain, and help to heal their wounds." She stepped next to him, and let her tail rest on his back. Instantly, he felt the pain of a hundred wounds inflicted on him, and then it eased, though the pain slightly lingered. "Good luck," he heard her whisper as she moved back to the others. He nodded his thanks and then glanced over to watch the next cat. The next cat, an old cat, came to him next. "Hello Twinetail," he said respectfully, dipping his head. "My name is Duskeyes. You do not know me, but I have seen you, and I have seen your power. This is why you will be a strong leader. The power I will give you with this life is the power to be strong. To not allow anybody to change your mind and soul. Nobody but you yourself. Take heed of this great power, Twinetail." This cat moved slowely, and then rested hernose of his forhead. He felt suffocated, like he couldn't breath. He wanted to run, but stayed put until the feeling left him and he gulped in air. A white cat splotched with a few browns and blacks stepped into the circle. She grinned, showing signs of anticipation. "Hello..." she started. "I am Smudgedpelt. I will give you a very important life. This life you will use to help you. This is the power of speed and grace. Be careful to know when to retreat from battle, and when to charge on." She brushed her fur up against his, an,as she did, a sharp shock went through him. He jumped, letting out a small squeal. He shivered, counting in his mind. That was one, two , three... and then seven, he thought. His eyes grew wide as he realized what was happening. The other cats moved to the side, ouut of Twinetail's range of eyesight. one cat, and one cat alone, stood in front of him, as if in the spotlight. Ionstar. "Ionstar. Hello," he squeaked. Thunderclan's old leader approached him, without saying anything, and without a smile. Finally, the cat that seemed to large for life towered over him, andhe shivered. Finally, the corners of his lips turned up to reveal a smile. His fur shimmered and glistened, and then he opened his mouth. "Twinetail, I hope to see you doing a good job with Thunderclan. I will now grant you your final life. This life will allow you to accept others. There are great cats out there, even if they are not in your clan. Should something happen, do not fight every cat, or simply turn them away. Hear them out." he told him. Twinetail closed his eyes, fearing the worst. The two of them touched noses, only for an instant, but it felt like years. The pain was a sharp, horrible pain that he could not describe. He could not move for a few moments, and when he opened his eyes, he saw not Ionstar, but a crowd of cats. "Twinestar! Twinestar!" they yowled, and he felt confidence swell up inside him. He turned, and there was Ionstar behind him. "Twinestar."

[/blockquote]
