The Cats// Skysong, Twinetail, and Cloudrunner The Noted// Erm this did not bode well The Number// 369 Skysong gazed in amazement, as Drowningstar appeared before her, relaying a message. She finally thought that she had lost it, that she really was going to die. But her eyes opened, and she wasn't dead. So many dead cats lay around her, and scarlet blood was everywhere.
She wanted to reach out, to help the other clans, but she couldn't. She was in so much pain, and that combined with the losses of the clan made it almost unbearable. Somehow, she had to find a way to pull through.
Twinetail had raced, he knew Silktail would be there, and he had to help Riverclan. D-mn that Fireclan, he thought. When he had arrived, cats already lay dead on the ground. He fought, and when they had finally called the retreat he was relieved. That's when the unthinkable happened.
It happened so slowly, yet he was powerless to prevent it as Redeyes snapped her neck. Snapped Silktail's neck. He ran, he wanted to chase after Redeyes and send him to oblivion, but he had to stay by her.
"Sil- Sssilkt-tail," he sobbed. It was all he could get out as he pressed his nose into her fur. She lay there, and she looked so broken, so beaten. He knew she would never be a warrior again, but she could pull through this. That was when he swore to Starclan that he would demolish Fireclan. If it costs me my life.
Cloudrunner raced like he was running on the wind. From the sounds of it, Riverclan had no time to spare for him to get there. Leafsong had stayed back, and he knew that he would take as much time as possible for him to apprentice a Riverclanner.
The sight was horrendous, it almost stung his eyes just to see the blood pooled on the ground. He raced to work, not even acknowledging that he was there. He had to help these cats.
He worried, this would be the first time his skills would be put to the test in a life and death moment, and he had to do his best. Then the easier work would come; training an apprentice. He didn't stop working, it was like his paws were on wings. Whatever it was, though, it was working.

Silktail would have nodded, but she could not move. From now on, she'd be a useless elder. Maybe she'd just stay in the nursery and bear kits all her life. "Of... of course I forgive you Lionf-fur... I shouldn't h-have c-come.. I sh-should h-have stayed wi-with my kits." She said, red eyes sad, then, she had a flash of inspiration. "The cutter! Maybe... Maybe the cutter could fix this!" she said as Ruffledpaw ran over.
"Yes Silktail. Cutter can fix these things. I had a broken leg once and he fixed it, but didn't cut me. I'm still a male." He nodded, looking at Twinetail and Lionfur. "But it's your call. Patchstar has left Thunderclan. I saw him leaving as we left camp. He ran towards Twolegplace. I don't think he's coming back. Twinetail is our leader. I think Lionfur should be deputy." The tom said, nodding.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=21784C] the count;; 327 the cat;; Polarpaw the notes;; no mom!!
Polarpaw's white coat was dripping and smeared with blood, some from his own fur, even though its length protected him from most injuries. He was near his mother, who was thinking of visiting the cutter.
Polarpaw looked up at his mother, and then mewed sadly: "Mom, there isn't a cutter here like in the forest. Who knows where the nearest one is? Besides.. what about the kits," he pushed on, throat croaking, not sure which side to take. "I love you, Mom. I really do. But the kits. If they cut you, you'll run out of milk. Who will care for the kits?" Polarpaw was pretty sure that's what happened, anyways. That's what Dusky told him. And how she was too young to be cut. You couldn't have kits anymore, because of the cutter. The cutter wouldn't know that Silktail had kits, would it? Polarpaw wished Dusky was near, so he could ask, and resolve it. Maybe he'd know when the cat had kits. But how? The swollen belly, maybe, but Twolegs could be cold-blooded. They had done bad things before. "Mom, it's not that I don't care about you having to retire.. I just don't want my siblings, those little lives, dying."
Polarpaw tried to swallow a stone in his throat, but nothing happened. He'd miss hunting with his mom, if this wasn't fixed. He'd miss walking in the woods with her, bringing her along on training lessons.. but there was too much at stake right now. Polarpaw was no medicine cat, but he knew things healed. "But, after the kits, what if your neck heals wrong?" He swallowed again, and paused, filled with rage. "I hate FireClan. I hate ShadowClan for pairing with them. I thought they were okay, I just thought that Shadestar cared about the warrior code too much. But he just likes starting things, doesn't he!"

Ruffledpaw looked towards Polarpaw. "My mother went to the cutter soon after we were born. She wasn't cut. I think Fireclan comes from the city. We need to go to the city for Silktail to be fixed." He said, watching Troubleseeker as she padded over to Polarpaw.
"Polarpaw. If your mother is cut, I'll take care of her kits. Silverkit and Fogkit are both ready to be made apprentice. As Ruffledpaw said, Patchstar left for the Twolegplace, meaning he knew where it was. If we follow his scent, we can find the Twolegplace. Do you not remember the legend of the forest? Firestar's nephew, Cloudtail? Cloudtail had been captured by the Cutter's, but he escaped after they fixed him. Maybe Silktail won't be cut, she will be found a twoleg home, then, we can break her out of there." Troubleseeker said, licking Polarpaw. She knew he'd be upset, she was herself. Her sister was broken and her mate had left her and her clan to the wrath of Fireclan. Troubleseeker heard sobbing, and turned to see Blossomfire.
"This is all my fault! I should never have asked you to come!"She wailed loudly next to her father. "I'm going to stay In Riverclan where I can do Thudnerclan no harm!" She wailed, rubbing her violet eyes.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=21784C] the count;; 393 the puppet;; Polarpaw the involved;; Silktail, Troubleseeker, Ruffledpaw, Blossomfire. the notes;; D:
Polarpaw's ears pricked up at Blossomfire's wanting to leave. Would it look like he liked her if he asked for her to stay? Polarpaw sighed, and pretended it was about the current Silktail issue. "If mom really wants to do so.. I just don't want anything to happen to her.. I don't want anything to happen to any of us!"
It wasn't long before he realized he had said something contradictory. Now he was stuck, and couldn't say anything to Blossomfire. I guess its better we fall out naturally, then me asking her when I'm a warrior.. and her saying no. What an idiot I was, she's a warrior, has been for much longer than me. I should be bowing to her...
Polarpaw's blue eyes looked into Blossomfire's purple eyes, and he gave her a sad look. ThunderClan began moving along, and Polarpaw walked on. Blossomfire had stayed put in RiverClan, when the rest of the Clan had moved. He was a few yards away, when he looked back at RiverClan camp, watching all of the cats starting to disappear. Polarpaw thought of going, thought of where his heart wanted him to go. His brain overruled hum, which may have been the better decision. He took a longing look, and then heard Leopardheart's loud voice:
"Come on, Polarpaw! Their wounds will be healed too!" she meowed, making Polarpaw flick his tail, and whip around, running after them. Upon getting closer to the she-cat, even Leopardheart showed some concern for him. No wonder she was called that, she cared for everyone, no matter what Clan. Still sensing something was up with Polarpaw, Leopardheart licked him quickly over the ears. She whispered: "Respect everyone's descisions, even if they're not good for you.. everything will sort itself out, in the mix of things. StarClan meant for it to be this way,"
Polarpaw nodded curty, fustraited that this happened. Leopardheart was only trying to help him, he understood. She was a good cat, and Polarpaw was surprised she hadn't taken a mate yet. Or, if she was keeping the male secret, she hadn't been pregnant yet. She seemed like the type to want to do everything the old way. The white tom stopped himself from glancing back.
We're enemies now.
