A she-cat's gray tabby pelt slinked under the Half-bridge in ShadowClan territory, waiting. The sun struck through between the planks of the bridge, and she warmed herself in the daplling sunlight. Her violet gaze drifted to the lake, it's waters drifting calmly, waves lapping the shore. There were some Twolg boats in the water, but not a whole lot, seeing as Greenleaf was just appearing.

It was almost sunset, but she was in three tail-lengths of the lake's edge, just as the law demanded. Burningflame, her clan's medicine cat, ahd set up this meeting in hopes of lifting Destinycall's spirits. Milkystar was supposed to meet her here as the sun sunk below the horizon. Destinycall personally wanted to conceive Milkystar's kits again. So badly she wanted to, she was willing to do anything. Her gaze returned to the ground as she waited.

Her feelings were mixed. She could hardly pick out which feeling was more dominant. She felt anxious, excited, nervous, scared, elated. She just decided she was on Cloud Nine. A rare feeling for her anymore, being seperated from her RiverClan mate, Milkystar. She was wondering how her RiverClan duaghter, Currentpaw, was doing. Would she be a warrior soon? No, she wasn't old enough yet.

This was tresspassing, and could cause a war with Shadowclan. His white pelt stuck out like a sore thumb, and he was sure he had passed a few patrols by now. His grey eyes spotted the only cat that meant anything to the near leader. Her name? Destinycall. Her clan? Thunderclan. They had already had kits, but they were half-clan. One kit was Blossomingpaw, living in Thunderclan. Currentpaw lived with Milkystar in Riverclan, now they both wanted more kits. His white pelt stalked towards his mate, his grey eyes sparkling with delight at the she-cat. His feet padded forwards, and he called out her name. "Destinycall..." The tom purred, bounding towards the she-cat. "This is stupid. Deadfoot told me Burningflame wanted to see me on the Gathering island, and when I went there, a scent trail led me here." The tom chuckled gently, nuzzling the she-cat before him, wrapping his tail around hers. "This isn't safe my love... We need to go to the Gathering Island, it's safer their, rather than this." Milkystar purred, his white fur fluffing up slowly, his pink nose touching Destinycalls.

Then, the wind shifted, carrying a at's scent and voice to her sense. Milkystar!She jumped up at his presence.

-This isn't safe, my love.-

His voice was music to her despairing heart. His eyes sticthed up her torn edges, his scent soothed her smoke ruined nostrils. "I know it's not. But, Burningflame told me to come to the half-brodge here. Misscommunication, maybe?" Her voice was soft and despaiing at first, but it gradually rose a little louder and a little stronger, but not a whole lot. She licked his shoulder and purred. Was he a dream or eal? If it was a dream, she never wanted it to end. Never ever. She pulled back, looking into his grey eyes. "Well then, let's go to the gathering island as you said. It is safer there." She gave a tiny laugh, but then stopped.

She stepped towards him again. She licked her pale pink tongue along his forehead, his cheeks, and then just rested her head on his shoulder. "Whenever you are ready, I am, Tiger." She emphasized the word tiger, just for kicks. She twitched her striped tail back and forth, finaly resting it on Milkystar's front right paw before pulling back.

He closed his eyes and drank in her scent, and it made him feel giddy, He rubbed his head against her own, and lead her away from the Shadowclan territory towards the Gathering island. Milkystar and Destinycall walked together, and Milkystar purred gently, untwisting his tail from Destinycall's and stroking her body with it. He fluffed up his fur gently, and padded next to his against the warrior code mate. "How is Blossomingpaw?" Milkystar asked Destinycall. "Currentpaw was recently made an apprentice. She says she misses you a lot." Milkystar purred, laughing gently. Slowly, he opened his maw, and caught scent of another cat. Milkystar cursed, and pushed Destinycall into some garlic, diving in after her. He rolled into the garlic, and buried his face in the garlic. His grey eyes peered up, watching the cat slowly, hissing at Destinycall to keep quiet.

She easilt kept up with her larger mate as they padded towards the Gathering Island. "I love you Milkydew." She looked out to the lake, her liqiud violet eyes soft, as if she was in heaven. In her mind, all she need to live was Milkydew and their kits. Oh, and maybe her best friend Silktail. To Destinycall, the say was perfect, and she was humming a tune happily, until her mate shoved her in some garlic after scenting a cat. He shushed her, and she was quite put out with it. She opened her mouth to say something, but thought better of it. Then, he jumped in and started rolling in the garlic. She took his lead and did the same. When she was done, she looked out from the garlic caredully, looking at what had Milkystar so riled up.

Shadestar had followed the strange scents, but he soon wrinkled his nose. Ugh! Garlic! he thought, wrinkling his nose and showing his teeth. He slowly walked along the shore, following the strong scent. He caught another strange mingled scent, over by the half-bridge. RiverClan! No, no.. RiverClan shouldn't smell remotely like ShadowClan.. As Shadestar walked along the bay, he caught sight of two cats, huddled in garlic. "Oh, look, do we have company?" Shadestar said, cocking his head to the side. One he saw looked a lot like Milkydew.. if it wasn't him. I'll be safe and play dumb. After all, if he isn't Milkydew, maybe he'll join ShadowClan.. and that she-cat.. she has a fair body... His dark brown fur was ruffled in the breeze. "Why don't you two come with me? You're on ShadowClan territory, and I know that most leaders would attack you for doing that.. but I feel nice today, so follow me, and we'll see if you can join ShadowClan," Shadestar paused for a moment, to let it sink in. A fish splashed in the water, pretty much the only sound in the awkward silence. "after all, if you're with ShadowClan, or want to join, then I can't treat you as a trespasser, can I?" Shadestar had a huge grin inside. What would they do now? He could see himself getting evidence of Milkydew on his territory if it was Milkydew, and he ran, or he could get them into ShadowClan, and take them. If the white cat was Milkydew, he was in for a surprise. But, Shadestar had no idea who the gray tabby with the fine eyes was. Maybe she was a loner. If she was, Milkydew wasn't taking her! The loner was on his territory, and he had the rights to take her into his clan, and perhaps mate with her if he could get that far. Shadestar anticipated the reply, kneading the ground with his paws, a habit of his.

What to do? He was tresspassing, yes, but he was a leader. Should he lie? Should he fight? He couldn't let Shadestar get ahold of Destinycall; Destinycall was Milkystar's. "Um." Milkystar coughed, coming out of the garlic. "Err." Milkystar said, looking nervous. "..." He couldn't think. If he didn't come back to Riverclan, Waterpelt would be Waterstar, and if he were to return, what would his clan think of him? So many thoughts ran through Milkystar's head as he stared down Shadestar. "We are not loners. My name is Dew, and this is my mate, Destiny." Milkystar said, narrowing his eyes. "We can see we are not welcome here, and we have no wish to join your clan." Milkystar said, fluffing up his fur. "My mate is heavily pregnant. We are passing through your territory to reach a haven my mother spoke of." Milkystar unsheathed his claws gently, ready to fight Shadestar if need be. "Let Destiny go, but if you touch her I will rip you limb from limb!" Milkystar hissed. His voice was a little dry and lower than usual, so he didn't sound like himself. "And if I have to fight you, so be it." Milkystar said, swishing his tail.

Oh, that's doesn't sound remotely like Milkydew, Shadewing thought, narrowing his eyes at the two. Whatever. I'll treat them like loners, and maybe they'll slip some evidence out, so I can exploit them at the gathering. Or maybe they'll just be loners.. probably not the latter though. And, if this is Milkydew, as I don't know many other cats with gray eyes and a white pelt, surely 'Destiny' must be somebody..? But, I don't think he has a mate.. oh well, I'm just confusing myself, I'll find out everything later. "ShadowClan does not like loners passing through their territory. They steal our prey, or at least scare it. I'm sure that your mate wouldn't want me to hurt you, and I don't either. I don't wish to hurt anyone right now. But, you are rather quick to unsheathe your claws. If you want to fight, then I'll do so!" He meowed loudly, pacing towards Milkystar, blue eyes narrowed. Shadestar unsheathed his own claws quickly. "Either we take you as prisoner, or we fight." Shadestar hissed, arching his back. "Besides, do you think you could endure a trek through rolling hills, thunderpaths, and twolegplaces?" Shadestar's eyes stared into Milkystar's. "If you can't defeat me, or at least stay in ShadowClan until the kits are born, StarClan knows all of you will die!" His fur fluffed, making him look about twice as big as usual, and twice as intimidating to most.

The creatures we find here are disgusting. I would never dream of hunting here." Milkystar said, narrowing his eyes. "Destiny and I only seek passage through this territory of yours. She wanted to see the island before the kits birth." Milkystar said. He flexed his claws gently, his eyes watching Shadestar's every move. If Shadestar had been anyone else, he would have struck him down where he stood, and fled with Destinycall. But this was a leader, both of them could kill each other with all nine lives. Milkystar took a few steps back, protecting his mate from Shadestar. "Please, you can watch us leave and we will be no bother to you again." Milkystar said, half bowing his head in respect for the leader. He kep one eye on the black tom, and swished his tail. He needed to be ready if Shadestar attacked to get Destinycall to run.

There's no telling what other clan leaders may do if they catch you on their territory. Then, I'll escort you out of the clan territory. I don't want to see your faces again." Shadewing meowed, somewhat challenging. "Or, you can stay in ShadowClan territory until your kits have been born, and then you can leave. I have no problem with the latter. We don't eat kits." Shadewing's fur was ruffled by the breeze, and he could feel the surroundings getting dark. Perfect. His good night vision and other ShadowClan habits would make a night fight easy, along with escorting them. Any proof that the white one is Milkydew will completely convince me, and will help convince the other clans, and maybe they'll change the deputy to someone who is less of a threat. Shadewing could feel himself swelling up with this thought.

"You may escort us to the island and you will never see our pelts again." Milkystar said, encouraging Destinycall out of hiding. Milkystar was very suspscious of Shadestar, so kept his guard up. Milkystar looked to Destinycall, his ears still pointed towards Shadestar. If Shadestar would have his way, he'd kill Milkystar where he stood and mate forcibly with Destinycall. Milkystar could not allow that. Milkystar stood, waiting got Shadestar to guide them, and for Destinycall to come out. He'd protect his mate with his life, if need be.

Destinycall's violet eyes watched as Shadestar approached them, and finally found them. She watched the scene unfold, a thousand thoughts playing through her mind. He says I', heavily pregnant, my name is Destiny, his is Dew. What do we do now? At her cue, she stood up, already having her belly puffed out. Her violet eyes seemed soft, sad, asking. Then she spoke, making her voice seem as frail and soft as she could. "Please, great leader. I just want to move on to the place my mother birthed me, so I can birth my own kits there. You have the word of an expecting queen, and that word is valuable, that we have not stolen any prey. We will pass on once the kits are born, and that will be soon, I can feel it. So, please great leader, let us go in peace, so you do not make a heavy queen fret anymore than she already is. We will not come through here again once the kits are born. We will move on from this place, and go to where my mother lives in Twolegplace." She hoped shadestar would just let them go. Puffing out her belly was starting to really hurt. She looked at Milkystar and spoke. "Dew, please. Let's just go, dear." Her voice was still soft, but firmer when she spoke to her mate.

Now how was he supposed to show that Milkydew was a trespasser? He was almost convinced himself that Milkydew was stealing this loner off of Shadestar's territory, and he was not happy with that. Shadestar wanted the lone female, as a warrior, and maybe as a mate.. Shadestar began to hear things from his ceremony, echoing in his mind. I'll give you the life of caring and protecting every kit and cat, your clan or not!" Stood out the most. However, what the black cat, Nightshade, had told him, was heard just as strong. "With this life, I give you power and strength, and a soul that nobody can break or change but yourself. Stay strong," Shadestar looked down at the two. Well, he'd be nice to them now, and if he saw them both in another clan, then he'd be very angry.. even if they were always in that clan. "Fine. Let's go, follow me." Shadestar growled, starting to walk by the shore. He was almost positive that this white cat was Milkydew! But, nobody would believe him without proof. His face was an angry one. Was Destiny a member of a clan? Were they both RiverClan, coming to spy on ShadowClan? He stopped completely, just before the border. "You know what the Warrior Code states? If I find a clan cat on my territory, I am to chase them off. It also states that I'm not to kill a cat unless they're outside of the Warrior Code. And I'm losing my temper very fast with your behavior, Dew. Maybe I should just hurt you," Shadewing meowed, and then hissed, unsheathing his claws. Sorry, Cherishkit, but you'd like you see ShadowClan prevail, wouldn't you?
