Orangesky had returned from his hunt with Hollythorn. They had caught a few rabbits. Hollythorn had beaten him to camp, so her rabbits were already there. Orangesky dropped both of his, and then looked around camp. Right now, he had one thing on his mind. Gladefeet.
She was the prize, what he wanted right now. If I'm lucky, I'll get her first try. I won't get too hasty though... This'll only be half the fun if it's going to come easy. Whatever, I'm up for a good challenge, Orangesky sniffed the air, seeing if he could smell Gladefeet. Nothing. He looked around for a little bit, and then found her in the camp. He ran over to her, and bowed his head to the higher ranking warrior.
"Gladefeet, Hollythorn and I just went out for a hunt, and, I have to say, there are many plump rabbits. I think we should hunt them, inpreperation for Leaf-bare," Orangesky had more on his mind, but he kept his head low, not letting Gladefeet look into the windows, keeping his ideas shut in.
If he got lucky, this wouldn't be his first time. It would be the first time within the Clan though. Okay, he broke the warrior code, and exchanged a rabbit during his apprenticeship to mate with a loner, but that was okay, it was just once. "I was wondering if you'd like to go on a patrol with me?" Orangesky rose his head, to look normal, having an excited look on his face, which one could think would be his excitement of going hunting. But this excitement was for a different reason entirely.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=e5e5e5] [[ kit Gladefeet the bored [[ words 191 [[ notes are you ever going to write his profile? It'd be interesting to read.
Gladefeet was stalking around. There were no toms legibal enough to be her mate. Would she have to go to the mountains and find a loner or tribe cat? Or perhaps, she'd have to go local with another clan, or a loner here. But, there was Orangesky, but he was her apprentice, or had been.
The black female shook her head, yellow eyes inspecting the food pile. Hollythorn was back, and she had an odd look on her face. Maybe she was just hungry, thirsty, tired, or something. Maybe she'd seen something on the moors; a dog? Eagle?
Gladefeet lifted her head as Hollythorn's slower brother came into camp, dropping his two rabbits on the pile. She smiled at him, and he padded over, telling her about the rabbits. She'd tell Winterwind soon enough. It was weird, some cats still thought she was deputy.
"A patrol? Yeah. Might as well. Nothing to do here except sit about." The black she-cat nodded, walking beside Orangesky. He had a strange look in his eyes; was he hungry? Sick? Nah. Gladefeet was just overreacting. Crazy she-cat. |

Orangesky pricked his ears. "Oh! I keep forgetting that you're not deputy anymore. I think we can still get out though, Winterwind won't mind, right?" he said, brushing his fur up against her fur, but he did nothing else, either giving the message it was accidental, friendly, or perhaps flirty. It was the last one, and, so things weren't too obvious before they left, Orangesky did nothing else.
He purred, unable to really help it. "I'm excited about this hunt, so let's get going before I start to get crazy," Orangesky walked forward slowly. He went forward two feet, and then looked back at Gladefeet. "Whenever you're ready to head out, I am," Orangesky's pelt blew in the wind of the moors, and his mouse fur colored eyes looked into Gladefeet's. They looked more warm than challenging, encouraging her to go forward. "Should I lead the way?"

Gladefeet shivered when Orangesky rubbed his fur against hers. It was probably a friendly gesture; yeah, probably. Why should she worry? He was a tom, a handsome one too. Plus, Gladefeet was the only she-cat in the clan he wasn't closely related too. Gladefeet was more related to Crowstar of Shadowclan; she was his second cousin after all.
Grinning, Gladefeet nodded at Orangesky. "I'm sure he won't mind. What's a little more prey going to do?" She laughed, licking her chest fur. "You can lead the way. You'll know where you hunted before, so you'll wanna go somewhere else." Gladefeet said, yellow eyes sparkling. The pair of eyes looked over to the warriors den where Hollyfeet lay. She looked tired or upset or something like that.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=BE7228] the count;; 416 the cat;; Orangesky the involved;; Gladefeet the notes;; Hey, did you see me :3
Orangesky began to walk forward. The summer moor was up to his hock, and the wind whipped it against his legs, causing a little pain. "The rabbits aren't too far from camp actually. I'm surprised their not frightened from our meows." Orangesky continued walking, able to hear Gladefeet from behind him. So she was following.
It was about a ten minute walk, and they soon came to the top of a hill, where brown and white rabbits were hopping about. Orangesky looked at Gladefeet, who was behind him, with the same gaze he did back at camp. "This is where all of those rabbits are. They breed like crazy, probably in the tall grass over there," Orangesky used his head, and threw it in northeast a little, where there was somewhat taller moor grass. The rabbits had eaten down most of the grass where they were, however. "It's going to be hard to kill them, without any cover. I'm going to split up, and then come back to you soon, okay? We'll meet at the top of the hill. And don't mess up the perfect coat," Orangesky said, and promptly trotted away, to the east, where the wind was blowing.
He spotted a rabbit rather quickly. He got down, where the grass was of a medium length, and got down. This one was young, but plump, perfect. The meat would likely fall right off the bone. Orangesky licked his lips, and then slowly made his way towards the rabbit.
He adverted his attention, and saw Gladefeet within earshot. Should I draw attention to myself? No, I shouldn't, that would make her angry. However, I'm sure I could suck up to her a little.. Orangesky continued stalking it. The rabbit's ears pricked up. now!
Orangesky dashed after it at a fast speed. The rabbit also took off. He hissed loudly, hoping to attract Gladefeet's attention. He ran for about a minute, and then the hunt was over. Orangesky had cut it off, and then dug his fangs into its foot before it could escape. The rabbit kicked his leg, cutting into his fur a little. He quickly grabbed its neck, and moved his leg from the rabbits back legs. He held it down, and dug his teeth into its jugular. The rabbit quickly died, and Orangesky picked up the dirty white thing. He stood up and raised his head, inquisitive, and innocent looking, in Gladefeet's direction.
