Her silvery pelt looked dark in the shade of the warrior den, so the pretty she-cat pushed her way out of the thorn bush, sunning herself in the light. She was bulging slightly today, and had got the news from Burningflame a few days ago. Her mating with Twinetail two weeks ago had been a success, and she couldn't wait to tell her love, her joy, her Twinetail.
Slowly, she stretched out, her claws unsheathing and glinting in the light. Looking over at the apprentice den, she saw her three eldest children; Barkpaw, Buzzardpaw and Polarpaw. Their birth had been a hard one, hopefully her newest kits would have an easier birth.
As the wind changed direction she caught scent of her mate, the new deputy of Thunderclan. Smiling, she trotted over to him, pressing her head into his flank. "Good morning Twinetail..." The pretty young she-cat purred gently, nuzzling her mate, her red eyes shining.
"Walk with me Twinetail." The elle purred, wrapping her tail around his. The handsome brown tabby tom was the centre of her attention; everything else in cmap did no longer matter to her, and as she pressed her side into Twinetail's she took a sharp intake of breath.
"I have wonderful news for you Twiney..." The she-cat purred, licking Twinetail's cheek. "Two weeks after we mated, I went to Burningflame. She says it was a success... I'm pregnant again." Silktail's eyes shone at the thought of having kits again. She couldn't wait to join her sister in the nursery. |

"You're... you're pregnant?" Twinetail asked. Silktail nodded, and he was speechless.
"We're going to have more kits!!!" he exploded.
"Are you okay? How are you? Do you need anything?" he asked quickly, bombarding her with questions.
As if I wasn't protective enough, he thought.
He jumped for joy, and wanted to run around camp and yell. This was one great day. He couldn't believe it. She was going to have kits. He didn't know what to say.
"Yes! Yes, I'm so happy!" he told her. He ran over and got her some fresh kill.
"Do you need to eat? It might be good if you eat..." he trailed off. He mumbled to himself, about how happy he was. He was simply too happy for his own good.
"Silktail, I'm so happy. I''m so happy for us. This is just great." he said.
He didn't know how to express his feeling with words. He curled up next to her, unable to say anything. He was so proud that they were going to have kits. He was proud of her.
"Silktail, I don't know what I'd do if you didn't love me. I have no idea. You're just so perfect."

As Twinetail asked her if she really was pregnant, she nodded. "Can't you smell it?" She giggled, nuzzling Twinetail. "I'm sure Polarpaw, Barkpaw and Buzzardpaw will be happy to have more siblings... They've grown a lot.." Silktail meowed, nuzzling her mate gently.
"Burningflame says it's uncertain how many I'm going to have just yet... I hope for many kits!" Silktail purred, running her tail along Twinetail's back. "Maybe you'll be leader when they're born..." The she-cat mewled gently, licking her chest fur.
Slowly, she saw her kits wake in the apprentice den. "Barkpaw, Buzzardpaw, Polarpaw, come 'ere you rascals!" The queen purred. "Your father and I are going to have more kits. You're going to have more siblings as well as your cousins!" The she-cat purred gently, licking each kits head in turn. |

Twinetail watched his first litter of kits walk over. He was so proud of them. And now, they were going to have siblings. Everything about them is going to be perfect, no matter what, he thought.
He nuzzled Silktail, watching the beautiful cat. She was so loving. He just knew that they were going to be perfect parents, and that the new kits would be loved, no matter what they looked like. They'll have two great parents, great siblings, and a great clan to love them, he thought.
It was an awesome feeling, knowing he was going to have more kits. He was happy as ever, in this one big happy family. And he knew in his heart that he would do anything for Silktail. How he loved her, more than anything. Well, her and their kits.
Looking at his beautiful mate, and their wonderful kits, and knowing that they would be raising more, Twinetail was just so happy. |
