Cat:Twinetail the S:P:E:E:C:H:L:E:S:S, almost... Words: 219 Notes: Rawr...
So, three dead leaders. And it was a good thing that Patchstar didn't make four.
"Yes..." he said, sad for the fallen leaders. It had been a surprise that there were and there were three new leaders. Good thing I'm not number four, he thought.
"Fortunately, I'm happy to say that Patchstar is still with us. His mate has the sickness from the forest, and he is staying back at camp to make sure she's okay," he told the cats that gathered below him. He was speechless, this meeting concerned so much bad news. Then again, it was his duty to share the clan news.
"Well, other than that, Thunderclan is doing well. Prey is running well, too." He murmured. It's good to know that Crueleye is dead too, he thought to himself.
He glanced around, looking at Silktail, the love of his life, and then the other leaders. Shadestar looked like he wanted to speak, and Nightstar and Milkystar looked nonchalant, and he was nervous. He didn't really have anything else to say, he just hoped everyone knew that.
And he hoped that he didn't look like a screw-up.

the count;; 606 the cat;; Shadestar the involved;;BWAHAHA
And, last up is ShadowClan. Good. Milkystar doesn't seem to expect a thing,
"It is now ShadowClan's time to speak. Nightstar, it is good news that Crueleye is now dead. If you did not do it, I would have myself," Shadestar stood on the base of the branch, tall and proud. "It is such a shame, that the leaders have all passed. I am not here to fill in for Crowstar. He died of his sickness, unable to recover," Shadestar bowed his head, honoring his leader, who was now in the stars.
"Also good to hear Patchstar is still alive. Give him my regards, Twinetail. I hope that his mate is okay," Shadestar finished. He would deal with Milkystar later.
Shadestar continued: "We have new kits in our Clan, and ShadowClan is making a recovery from the sickness. The prey has been running quite well, as to be expected in green-leaf. Due to the rain, frogs are our main source of prey at the moment. It's good to hear that the prey has been running well for the rest of the clans."
Now was his chance. He would expose Milkystar, and show how he broke the Warrior code!
"Now, all cats in this gathering! Listen to my news! You do not have to listen to me for the rest of the gathering, just listen to this one message!" Shadestar yowled, moving his paw. A clump of white fur was below him. "The piece of fur belongs to Milkystar! I am almost certain of it. A few sunrises ago I met two cats on my territory, on the half-bridge, talking. One was a silver tabby with purple eyes. The other was a white cat with gray eyes!" Shadestar looked around the crowd. "When I asked for their names, they were Destiny and Dew. Whose suffix of their warrior name was dew? What cat is white with gray eyes? Put it together, warrior cats!"
Shadestar looked down at the group. "The female is with us today. And, let me tell you, last time I checked, she was not with RiverClan. Milkystar has been breaking the Warrior Code!" The wind ruffled Shadestar's fur. The moon shone bright. "I have a sample of fur! This smells like garlic and ShadowClan. But what else can you smell on it, faintly? RiverClan! Rolling in garlic is a common way to disguise your scent, used by Clan cats. Tell me, how many times have you seen a rouge or loner roll in garlic?!" Shadewing eyed the moon again. Still clear. "If you need to be convinced further, look to the stars, my warriors! If I was telling lies, StarClan surely would have blocked this full moon!"
Shadestar dug his claws into the brown branch. He was really getting into exposing Milkystar. "You may say: Oh, Shadestar, he just trespassed on your territory! But, Milkystar, while he was on my territory, I could hear him, speaking. He wanted to know about a certain kit from his mate, who said she did not want to share the father of her kits. He said a kit who was 'found' in their territory was doing good. No mention of any other cats. They couldn't have waited until the gathering? He has a litter. And he was discussing this litter with this loner,"
Shadestar shook his head. "It may make little sense to you now. It is so much to take in. But, I assure you, I tell no lies." Shadestar took the fur, and then flung it into the cats. Shadestar sighed, and then closed his eyes. "I am finished,"

Kittens: Destinycall, Nightstar, Currentpaw (Fore shes a warrior) Words: 240
Destinycall stood proud, her head held high, and she spoke. Her silver pelt glowed, and her violet eyes seemed to radiate their color around her face, and she spoke loudly. "Shadestar! I must say you are right. I care not if everyone knows that Milkystar is my mate, and myself his! I am Destinycall! And as of tonight, I am no longer a ThunderClan warrior. I am a RiverClan queen. I will give birth to uor second litter soon, and I care not what other cats say or do about our relationship. We did break the warrior code, but we made it right. We suffered for breaking the code with or first litter, with only Blossomingpaw and Currentpaw still alive and with us. Then, when we found out our mating was successful, we quickly decided to make amends, and be in the same clan. I am leaving my birth clan, and heading to the clan my mate leads. There is nothing any cat can do to stop me." With that, she brushed past the cats to get as close as she could to the branch her mate was on. "Milkystar dear, how I love you and our kits so."
Nightstar stared at the scene with surprise. Wow... Just, wow...
Currentpaw walked up to her motherjust after her mother's speech and her words to her father. "Father, mother." she dipped her head, then went to her group of apprentice friends.

[bg=989898][cs=7]kit ]] Milkystar the angrywords ]] 541 notes ]] oh no you din't >.o music ]] Black Holes and Revelations - Muse Milkystar's fur bristled as Shadestar talked. Oh, how he wanted to leap at him and tear his fur off, but this was a Gathering. "Yes, I broke the warrior code." Milkystar said; there was no point in trying to defend himself. "I was angry, for the one love I used to have - Seamist - had been raped by Crueleye." |
Milkystar said, grey eyes angry and hard. "I was a mere warrior when we met in the forest territory. When I was made deputy, I was ready to ask Destinycall to join me in Riverclan, but I knew what uproar it would cause. For one, I was raising Seamist's kits as if they were my own. And I brought a kit from Destinycall's litter, my daughter; Currentpaw." Milkystar growled at Shadestar. "I made a mistake when I was a naive warrior. I was only a cat. None of us are perfect. I can name so many cats here who aren't perfect. So many cats who believe they have Thunderclan blood, or Riverclan blood, or Windclan blood, or Shadowclan blood... None of us are perfect. My grandsire was a Thunderclanner. My other grandsire was a Shadowclanner. One of my Grandqueen's was a Windclanner, the other a Riverclanner. I cannot help that." Milkystar said. "You cannot help love. Starclan knows I did wrong, they know. Yet, they have not cursed me or my mate. We are still both healthy, as are our two surviving children. Maybe they took the lives of Featherkit and Whitekit because they were punishing us. They took the life of Sunkit too, a kit I was helping to raise in my own clan." Milkystar continued. "No cat can be perfect. No cat can follow the warrior code to every last little detail. I'm sure each one of us has broken one rule. I know I've broken a few. When I was an apprentice, I fed myself whilst hunting. I've crossed borders, most of the time accidently. I have killed in battle, a death that needed not to have happened." Milkystar meowed to the crowd. "You may hate me if you wish. Following the warrior code is difficult for a leader as young as I. I am not even yet 3 seasons old. I haven't had time to memorise the whole thing. My mother couldn't tell it me; she died upon birth. My father couldn't tell me everything; he was visiciously muredered. My sister told me the best she could, until the sickness claimed her before her time." Milkystar sighed. "Let me remind you Shadestar. None. Of. Us. Are. Perfect." Milkystar hissed. "I declare this gathering over. If you wish to quarrel with us Shadestar, cross my border and attack us - if you dare." Milkystar hissed, ready to smack Shadestar. Turning around, he leapt from the tree and called his clan away. Shadestar was digging into territory where he did not belong.

[/blockquote]

Cat: Skypaw the D.A.Z.E.D Words: 201 Notes: Well, can't say I didn't know it was gonna happen...
Destinycall. Was. Joining. Her. Clan.
"No." she murmured under her breath. Skypaw already knew about Currentpaw, and now... this? She didn't want what didn't belong, and what didn't belong was... Destinycall.
"Why does this happen to me? Why is it, that everyone else can happily have something, or at least believe in something, but I just can't. I can't have a father who loves me, even though my father couldn't have loved me if he had wanted to, because Nightstar had killed him," she asked herself. Well, at least Crueleye is dead. What a twisted cat, she thought to herself.
As she got up and walked away, following Milkystar and the rest of her clan while looking back at the others, some of whom were surprised, she was dazed. So much news, but what hit the hardest was the fact that Destinycall was following them home. This just isn't right, she thought. She'd tried so hard to be a cat that'll be worth looking up to.
Never gonna happen.

the count;; 378 the cat;; Shadestar the involved;; Destinycall, Milkystar, the Clans. the notes;; i don't believe in fairy tales and no one wants to go to hell.
Shadestar narrowed his eyes. "Milkystar is correct. There is nothing more to discuss at this gathering. ShadowClan too, shall be leaving. I would advise Nightstar and Twinetail also depart from here, unless you two wish to talk, upon which I have no quarrel. Come, ShadowClan Warriors! We leave now," Shadestar jumped down from his branch, pawprints leaving a mark in the dirt. He turned his head to Destinycall, and then spoke to her:
"It is good that you are switching Clans to make things right. But what has already been done is disgraceful. You and Milkystar put kits into this world, one who never knew her father, another who didn't think he had parents. However, I applaud you not letting this happen again, as you two may never meet in battle and need to fight, and you two may now live together. Thank StarClan that you tried to make things right," Shadestar told her, as he stopped to let his Clan get together. The fluffy black cat then nodded his head at the queen. "It was Milkystar. I did not want to put you into the equasion," after saying that, Shadestar paced off, to the log, where Milkystar was getting ready to leave. He stopped before him, bared his teeth, and fluffed his fur, showing his full, huge, size.
"You are right. Nobody is perfect. Neither am I, obviously. But you, certainly, aren't. Some cats are more imperfect than others. You're one of the more imperfect ones," Shadestar hissed, cocking his head threateningly. "While you may attack another Clan due to anger, ShadowClan is not that way," Shadestar raged on, narrowing his icy eyes into Milkystar's stone-gray eyes. "We're respectable warriors with a leader who follows StarClan's code. If you do not know it, you never should have been a warrior. I am ashamed of Drowningstar. Out of all the leaders, I thought she was one of the best as a young cat,"
Shadestar then stalked across the log, his Clan behind him. It was a brief gathering for the first leader, but this would be his gathering to be remembered by. And he did quite good, showing StarClan's might and power, like any respectable warrior, in his opinion, should.
[[Shadestar has left the gathering. start a topic in ThunderClan or ShadowClan territory if you wish to speak with him, as he's going along there.]]

Cat: Twinetail the Happy to be going home... Notes: *Gasp* Wow... Words: 227
Wow...
That was all Twinetail could think. He had been to meetings before, but none as erratic as this. Maybe it was just the fact that everyone who was up on that tree was new to it.
"I agree with Shadestar. Thunderclan will now be heading off as well," he announced. He jumped down, granting this a successful night. Except for the loss of Destinycall... he thought.
"Okay, be careful. I don't want anybody falling in, because then I'll have to get you, and I can assure you that I'm already a little distressed. Plus, I don't want to be telling Patchstar what happened tonight while being cold, soaking wet, and wanting to be asleep," he told them.
He crossed the log slowly, looking back every once in a while to be sure that nobody slipped. All he could think about was what he was going to tell Patchstar. He knew that he wasn't just going to walk up and say: Oh yeah, those old 3 leaders died, Nightstar killed Crueleye, and Milkystar was secretly mate to Destinycall. And she left our clan for his. That would be... ignorant.
Too bad he wasn't sure how he should say it.
