[[I'm starting it now cause I'll be on vacation tomorrow and the seventh. I'll be in Erika Springs seeing the Passion Play, going on a museum tour, and going to a Dinner Theatre, which is all in walking distance of the hotel we're staying at. X.X *dies*]] [bg=000000][cs=7] Kitten: Nightstar the Starting to Love, I think... Words: 119, sorry. I'm not into this post here at the moment. Music: Poker Face by Lady Gaga Notes: Wehoo!
The night black pelt and flaming eyes of the Windclan leader, Nightstar, led her clanmates to the gathering island. She didn't know if her clan was the first there, and she honestly could care less. When they reached the clearing, no other clan was here. She raced up to the tree and surveyed the clearing as her clan filed in after her. She didn't know why, but she felt like something was going to happen tonight. What she didn't know was that she was going to fall in love, or that an old clanmate was going to come back from the dead.
Then, she smelt other clans coming. What clan they were, she didn't care.

[THUNDERCLAN CATS COMING Leading: Stormeyes Burningflame, Leafpaw, Silktail, Lionfur, Swirlpaw, Dapplecloud, Polarpaw, Buzzardpaw, Destinycall, Ruffledpaw.
RIVERCLAN CATS COMING Leading: Milkystar Deadfoot, Currentpaw, Mudpaw, Seamist, Skypaw, Mooncloud, Addertongue.]
Milkystar's thick white pelt led his clan from his territory, joining with the grey and white tom from Thunderclan. "Is it Stormstar now?" The white tom asked nervously, looking behind Stormeyes to where Destinycall ran. The gray pelted tom shook his head.
"Patchstar needed to stay behind. His mate - Troubleseeker - is growing ever more sickly." Stormeyes said roughly, as the clans pushed through the stream of cats to the island. There, Nightfire waited for them. "Is Twilightstar dead too?" Stormeyes said, almost wailing. Twilightstar had been a valiant leader.
"Wow..." Ruffledpaw mewed as he looked around the great island. "This is even more magnificent than the Fourtrees!" He purred, joining the group of Windclan and Riverclan apprentices.
Burningflame padded over to Deadfoot. "Greetins Deadfoot. Is your clan faring well?" The she-cat purred. Deadfoot nodded. "I think the illness from our old territory has hit Troubleseeker. She did not become ill last time, but Patchstar did. She's had her kits, so I'm thinking it could be passed on in mating. Keep an eye on your cats." Burningflame said, nodding.

Cat: Cloudpaw the E*c*x*i*t*e*dWords: 364 Notes: Wow, this is going to be great... Cloudpaw watched as cats began to crowd into the clearing. It amazed him that he was able to come, let alone see all of these cats and have the ability to talk to them.
This could be good for me... he thought. He was anticipating trying to make some new friends, since his 'mishap' with the lake, he seemed to take life a little more valuably. Different colored pelts glowed in the moonlight, and he wanted to leap over and talk to each of them.
True, there were a few cats who seemed... a little off, but there seemed like a boundless amount of cats, even though he knew in reality that there were even more cats from the clans. He was letting his imagination get the best of him.
He sat down, figuring that at least some cat would come over and talk to him. He decided that if that didn't work, he'd go over and talk to one of the apprentices. He was starting to believe that there was a reason for him being here, he just had to figure out exactly what it was.
One cat, especially, caught his attention. For the wrong reasons. She was skinny and muddy, and she wasn't socializing with anyone. She just sat there, sitting under a tree. She looked like she needed to lay down, but she didn't.
I wonder who that is... he wondered. Getting up, he swiveled around large crowds of cats. He didn't particularly want to talk to this cat, but he felt like he needed to.
When he got there, he didn't know what to say. He had asked some other cat who she was; apparently this was Dapplecloud.
"Hello?" he asked.
"What do you want?!" Dapplecloud hissed.
She obviously wasn't a very pleasant cat. Unfortunately, he felt somewhat obliged to help her, or at least talk to her. What am I getting myself into? he wondered.

Cat: Dapplecloud the C:O:N:F:U:S:E:DWords: 331 Notes: Another cat? *Gasp* Dapplecloud sat under the pine tree, confused. She didn't know why she was picked to go; didn't anybody see that her going to this meeting wasn't going to do anything for anybody? She figured it was probably a desperate attempt to try to get her out of this depression.
It's not like she blamed anyone; it was somewhat of a noble attempt. And a stupid one. She tried to push that out of her mind, though.
All of the sudden, she saw a cat coming over. Over to her. What in the world was he doing? She just sat there, wondering what he was thinking. When was the last time a cat who she didn't even know had approached her?
"Hello?"
"What do you want?!" she spat. It was obvious that this cat was nervous about talking to her. Honestly, if this hadn't been a Gathering, she probably would have clawed his ear.
She tried to let some of her aggression and despair melt away. He was, after all, still young.
"I'm sorry," she sighed.
"It's okay..." he said, quite softly.
"What's your name?" she asked inquisitively.
"Uhm, Cloudpaw. And you're Dapplecloud, right?"
"Yes. Why did you come over here?" she wondered.
"Well, I saw you, and you looked like you needed... a friend," he answered, " I feel like you're depressed, and like you need someone to talk to."
How sweet of him, he had taken this time to talk to her. Unfortunately, she didn't really want to talk.
"Uhm... Thanks Cloudpaw, thank you so much. You don't need to stay and talk to me. I'm happy that you just came over to talk. I'm sure someone like you has friends to to talk to," she told him.
He opened his mouth, but must have thought better of it, so he dipped his head respectfully and walked off.
How nice of him. How very, very nice.

Kitten:Nightstar the Overloaded Words: 226 Notes: Oh goodness... I'm finally playing an imperfect cat. NOT. Lol. Just kidding. All of them have had their imperfectness.
Nightstar looked to Stormeyes, then Milkystar, and chose her answer. "Yes. My mother, and a valiant WindClan leader, fell to the claws of a rogue of FireClan, who was also my father. I seeked him out the dawn after my ceremony. I found him, and I killed him. He tried raping me, but luckily he missed his mark. My mother and the old medicine cat came to me after that morning and shared some news with me. I deliberated with Leafsong, a former FireClan she-cat, and Silvertongue, another former FireClan she-cat. What we found out remains to be shared with all of the cats gathered here. I'm afraid our new lake home was not as safe as we once thought, friends." Her orange fire eyes raked across the other two cats. Then, she did not see the third. "Where is Shadestar? I was sure he would have been here by now, at least. ShadowClan is usually not the last to gather." She turned her gaze to the stars above, and shivered. She closed her fiery eyes and shook her head. Her leadership had just begun, and she felt like she could hardly handle it.
She felt like she was a dried out pool, that was now flooding. To much moisture to take time to absorb, and in the end, it still remained dry.

Cat: Skypaw the B_O_R_E_D Words: 307 Notes: Even with the beautiful stars and the moon, life can never be perfect...
Skypaw glanced around. Shadowclan had not yet arrived. The stars sparkled and the moon glowed, but that didn't help. She knew who her real father was, and no one could stop that. She knew that she was not fully clanborn. And that Milkystar didn't love her. Nobody could stop that, or make her feel better.
Not Milkystar, nor Seamist. Not anyone.
She pushed the thought out of her head, and tried not to think about it. She tried not to think about anything. What good is thinking if there's nothing optimistic to think about? She wondered.
She watched small bugs fly in circles, trying to do what they were built for, merely to live. She thought that it was too bad that she wasn't one of those bugs, they had such little brain power that they probably didn't remember what had happened two seconds before.
And most only lived for a few days. A few weeks, tops.
She decided that it was best not to go through the peril of life at all. Even if you're a mere tree, for your whole life, you'd endure small bugs and things nibbling on your leaves, harsh winters, and more. And even then you'll still die at some point.
Nobody lives forever. Nothing lives forever.
For a while, she just padded around, making comments and talking to herself. Muttering, more than talking. Muttering about life, and how it was somewhat pointless, because no one lives forever. Then she would counter herself and talk about how, even if you don't live forever, you can still achieve greatness. None of it stuck in her head. For being such a social cat, she wasn't doing much talking tonight. She decided that it was pointless to continue her wandering and found a comfy place to lie for the Gathering.
Whatever news I was brought here to hear, it better be worth it.

[bg=ffffff][cs=7]Kitten: Desintycall the ProudWords: 176 Notes: She's changing Clans... Destinycall walked in behind Stormeyes, and some other ThunderClan cats. Her pelt was groomed to a bright sheen, and she was a ball of white in the moonlight of the Gathering Island. She was a half-moon pregnant with her second litter, and her second litter by Milkystar. Milkystar was her against the warrior code mate, and she loced him for all she was worth. One of her daughters was also in RiverClan, Currentpaw. She saw his white pelt on the tree, and she smiled. They had discussed this on the evening they mated, and she knew her answer, and she knew what her actions were going to be. She had decided to leave ThunderClan before her next litter was born. She had decided to go to RiverClan. Her mate and her daughter's clan. It was something she had always wanted to do. She found herself a spot in with the RiverClan cats. They didn't seem to take mind, but yet they didn't know that she would soon become a clanmate of theirs.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=72ec19] Cat:Twinetail the P/R/O/U/D Words: 321 Notes: He's deputy!!! =3
Twinetail raced through the forest, jumping over rocks and tree stumps. Oh god, I've got to get there before they start the meeting.
At the same time that he was experiencing this overwhelming, he was extremely proud. He was the new deputy, and no one could stop that. He tried focusing on his mission: to get to the island for the meeting.
When he finally came to the log bridge, he slowed down and walked across. It appeared that Shadowclan hadn't even showed up, and Stormeyes had taken his position on the tree.
When his feet touched the ground, he sprinted to the tree. Out of breath, he stopped. He had basically run from Thunderclan to the bridge, and now he felt like he was going to collapse.
He sat down and caught his breath, and then got up. He prepared to take his place on the tree, jumping up and claiming a spot that may someday rightfully be his. He searched through the crowds of cats before him, and spotted Silktail. How he loved her, he hoped she was happy, seeing him up there.
He couldn't believe that he had been chosen for deputy, that he was sitting here. Someday, he might even lead this clan. Now, let's not get too ambitious, I'm just deputy, and Patchstar is a great leader, he thought to himself.
He wondered what news the clans had to share this night. Nightfire sat before him. He guessed what had happened, and lowered his head. Nightfire must be Nightstar. Twilightstar had been a great leader, and he hoped only that she was here for the same reason he was. As a fill in.
But he knew in his heart it was not to be.
He was sorry, but he tried not to think about it. He had a reason to be here, and he couldn't show weakness. |

the count;; 510 the cat;; Shadewing the involved;; the notes;; Firepaw, Drydusk, Mosspaw, Pinepaw, Ashenanarchy, Dreambreaker. Shadestar's going to shake some things up, with what he saw just before Milkystar and Destinycall ran away to mate.
Shadestar trod to the island, where there was an old mossy tree, fallen, leading the way to the island. As he went to step on the log, he turned his head around, and looking back at the three apprentices, Firepaw, Pinepaw, and Mosspaw: "Grip your claws into the log. I'll swim after any cat who falls, but neither of us will be pleased about it, I guarentee," With that, Shadestar took one small step onto the log. "The smaller and more careful your steps, the better," Shadestar advised, digging his claws into the slippery bark. The full moon made the river splash the log, completely drenching it. At least it wasn't raining..
Shadestar stopped rigid, fur pricking up when the river splashed, causing a spray of water splash on Shadestar's short-furred legs. He shivered, as the water was quite cold, but continued to the island, like he should.
Last Clan there. Well, I should expect! ShadowClan is one of the farthest away! Mouse-brained cats couldn't arrange themselves, either.. Shadestar finished walking across the log, relieved. He watched each cat safely come across, and then walked into the island, behind his clan, kind of like a father duck to his ducklings.
Shadestar broke off from the rest of the group, who went to socialize. He hopped up on his tree. "ShadowClan has arrived. This was all we decided to bring," Ugh, I brought the least amount of cats.. Hopefully this doesn't mean that they'll infer our weak spot, of having less warriors.
The furry black tom looked around. Milkystar, I suppose. Nightstar, as well. And.. Twinestar? Or was Stormeyes the deputy of ThunderClan? Shadestar shook his head. What has happened to all of our old leaders? They all just.. died.. Shadestar narrowed his icy eyes at this sight. Tch! All inexperienced, he thought, ignoring the fact that he was one of the youngest leaders. A leader who had only mentored one apprentice.. who he could pretend was a warrior.
"Cats who have gathered here under StarClan's full moon! Silence! The gathering has begun!" Shadestar called, without permission from any of the other leaders, not sure if he needed such permission or not. He yowled, a little louder: "We shall announce the news in the order of who arrived first, to who arrived last. If you're a mouse-brain, that means ShadowClan goes last!"
Shadestar finished his announcement, and looked at the three other warriors. He sat in his tree branch, and once he had his balance down, he nodded the leaders off. He couldn't wait to talk, but he wanted to try to show a more courteous side of him: Letting the other leaders talk. He bent his head down, to Drydusk beneath him. He then whispered, almost silently: "Watch the expression on Milkystar's face when I speak," Shadestar gave a cat-like grin, and looked at the snow white leader. Under his paw was a piece of white fur.
It stenched of three things. Garlic, ShadowClan, and RiverClan.

[bg=000000][cs=7] Kitten: Nightstar the Unimpressed Words: 213 Music: Good Girls Go Bad by Cobra Starship and You're Gonna Go Far Kid by The Offspring Notes: Impatient, isn't Shadestar??
Nightstar's orange eyes flashed at Shadestar's impatience. She padded up, stepping out on her branch, and she whispered to the ShadowClan leader. "No need to be impatient. Whatever you were going to say will have to wait anyways seeing as you already announced ShadowClan is going last. She turned her face to the clans. "Listen and listen well, clan cats! Twilightstar's body was found by the Moonpool stream, her body ripped in pieces. Our medicine cat, Leafsong, and our warrior, Silvertongue, recognized the rogue scent that marked her as their old home, FireClan! They also told me which cat from FireClan murdered her. It was Crueleye, who was my father. My mother's spiirt visited me from StarClan and told me to seek out revenge, and so I did! I fought Crueleye, and killed him. I could feel Twilightstar's pride in me, as her daughter and new leader, for killing a cat that the clans most defiantly needed irradicated. So, I took the time to do to Crueleye what he did to my mother. He is gone now."
She went on, saying just regular things, like how prey was running, how the can was doing, and so on and so forth. Then, she was done, and she stepped back.

"I didn't want to wait for the next day to come, apologies," Shadestar snorted quietly, just within earshot of almost every cat on the island.
Hmph. So Crueleye is dead. Fair enough, one less cat to worry about, Shadestar thought, keeping the piece of fur hidden. He didn't want the surprise spoiled early..
Who is next? Nightstar has already gone. I think it's going to be RiverClan, they're usually the first or second to come to the gathering. ThunderClan's fairly far away, so I'd have reason to think that they'll be third to announce..
Shadestar's almost pure black pelt was ruffled in the night's cold breeze. Dear StarClan, please approve of me doing this. Milkystar and his mate have betrayed your noble code. Is it not correct to let them know how terrible this thing that they have done is? Shadestar looked at the stars, which were only covered by a few clouds. I hope this does not mean some of you don't approve.. I'm doing it in your honor,
