[bg=000000][cs=7] Kitten: Nightstar the Fierce Words: 461 Notes: Snowptach is back, but she still thinks that this cat is an imposter. Nightfire wants to hurt her... Music: Paparazzi by Lady GaGa and You're Gonna Go Far Kid by The Offspring
Nightstar jumped on the Highrock, and bellowed out, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around the Highrock for a clan meeting!" Her black pelted started to blend in with the dying sunlight as she waited for her clan to gather. Snowpatch had reappeared at the last gathering a few days ago, and caused quit a stir in the Clans. The other clans thought she would accepted Snowpatch back with welcoming paws, but she proved them wrong. She thought about that scene as it replayed in her head.
The moon was not covered by clouds when the familiar form of a black and white WindClan cat entered the clearing. Nightstar saw something familiar about the cat, but after the incident with her mother and the now dead Crueleye, she didn't trust any cat, especially one who didn't have a clan ats smell and was as scrawny as a leafbare hungry rabbit. The other leaders and clans, and even her own, thought she would welcome her, but instead, her words had left them all silent as she gave her verdict. "Mmm... A loner. As scrawny as a leafbare hungry rabbit to boot." She curled up her lips and sneered at the newcomer. "You hardly seem familiar to me, and the cat you remind me off was pronounced dead by my mother when we reached our new home. Until you can show me undeniable proof you are that cat, you will be taken to our camp as our prisoner. You will only get the rations of every other clan cat, and no special treatment. You will have to clean your own bedding, and crack your own fleas. We have no apprentices to spare on a loner like yourself. Now WindClan, let's go home. Orangesky, Silvertongue, escort our new guest.
Then, her clan was gathered, and she made her announcements. Today, we accept three apprentices into the ranks of our warriors. Daisypaw, Flowerpaw, and Hidepaw, please step forward." They did as they were told, and she went on. "I have spoken with your mentors, and they agree you are ready to be warriors. StarClan, these apprentices have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend them to you as warriors int here turn. Hidepaw, from now on you will be known as Hidesong. Daisypaw, fropm this moment on you will be known as Daisydawn. Flowerpaw, you will be known as Flowerclaw. The clan honors your bravery and generosity, and we welcome you as warriors into our clan. As is tradition, you three will hold a silent vigil over the camp tonight while the rest of us sleep." With that said, she jumped off the rock and walked around camp.

Hollythorn's bi-coloured eyes stared up at Nightstar as she made her cousins warriors. Then, she leapt off the rock, and stalked away. Hollythorn bounded after her. "Nightstar, I'm afraid I must protest!" She called, and the clan stared after her.
"This cat... This was our deputy, and my mentor. She disappeared saving Silvertongue's kits when we were only apprentices! This cat is Snowpatch, Twilightstar's deputy for you." Hollythorn said, speaking up, her eyes blazing with fire.
"If you do not believe her to be Snowpatch, and force her to leave, I'm afraid I must leave with her." The she-cat said defiantly. Her two siblings stood next to her, agreeing with what she said.
"Nightstar... My niece is right. Snowpatch had been part of the clan long before you were born. Your father saved her life when Twilightstar left her at the gorge. Surprise, eh? I saw it happen, I was so surprised myself." Silvertongue mewled, standing beside Snowpatch. "Snowpatch was the only cat ready to stand up to Twilightstar when myself, my sister and her kits came to this clan."

[bg=000000][cs=7] Kitten: Nightstar the Exasperated Words: 216 Notes: Shes not going to make her leave. Music: Wind it Up by Gwen Steffani
Nightstar's blazing eyes flashed with exasperation and irritation as her half-sister and warrior confronted her. She squinted her eyes at the two and her tail tip twitched. "I don't plan on making her leave." The leader's voice was almost threatening as she went on, "Wasn't it Snowpatch who once said loners and rogues should never be trusted or let into the clans? No one thought I actually listened to the cat's defiance about rogues and loners, but I did, oh I did. I know how she disappeared. Twilightstar pronounced her dead when we reached our new camp because she did not find use and our search parties could not find her. Don't think I know this isn't Snowpath. I know it's her, but I have my reasons. I'm trying to show her something. Don't you get it? I'm not blind in my own power." She started to turn away as she said a little louder. "So you would have no reason to leave, would you?"
Her black pelt easily blended in with the darkness as she padded over to the freshkill pile and picked out a young rabbit that was the perfect size for one cat. She sat down and started tearing at it.

Her thin, thin pelt was rippled by ribs, her face narrow and ears flicked back in just as much distrust as the Twilightclan's apparent leader, her tail held still against her hindleg. Her claws glinted against the bare grass as she thought about tearing up chunks. She had no where else to go- but she didn't want to be here.
She spoke to no one, her voice as rusty as it was. She wanted honey... She wanted an apprentice to pick through her pelt for her and someone to lick her ears clean. But she had made herself presentable after the Gathering and full night's rest. She had eatten a small rabbit, though she didn't want to eat until she had hunted for the clan. Even if it wasn't her clan, she wasn't a prey theif. Not... anymore.
Staring up at the black she-cat, calling out for a clan meeting, with her yellow, blank gaze, her tail quivered. Even Twilightstar was a better waste of breath then the half-clan monster that now ruled... Her position... This could have been her clan. Who was the deputy now, she longed to ask, but she didn't dare ask.
You fool, she hissed in her mind, you fool Twilightstar. You were a softpadded fool... This is why leaders shouldn't have kits, much less have their half-clan kin as deputies. She bit back a growl, but as she overheard two cats stick up for her, she felt the hallow thump in her chest become warmer. Laying in the sun-filled clearing, she sighed, her tail flicking.
Nightstar's answer made her bounce to her paws, and padding away from where she was to the all too-proud hissy-fit cat by the fresh kill, she snapped, "By Starclan, of-OF course I said it!" Her voice was raspy, and she nearly choked on her own tongue. Her tail lashed, a fire in her eyes that was fueled by REAL warrior blood. My clan has been ruined... "I believed it, and don't expect me to hold my tongue on my beliefs."
Her pelt prickled, her voice dying from her bitterness. She would have no place in this... Rogue-Windclan if she kept up her sharp tongue. "What are you tr-trying to show me?" She tried not to demand answers, sitting down on her haunches, the smell of fresh kill making her dizzy. She was still starving as ever. She had to go hunting... If the spoiled-kit would even let her out of the small clearing.

Cat: Winterwind the A/n/n/o/y/e/dNotes: RAWR Nightstar this is so stupid Words: 279 Snowpatch.
Snowpatch.
Snowpatch. The cat he who had believed was dead was there. Right in front of him. He stood but a few tail lengths away, unsure of what to say. Should I tell her that I have her place as deputy? Should I take it easy and just offer her some food? he thought. He didn't know, and he definitely didn't want to bother her, but he wasn't sure what to do.
He was so... annoyed. With Nightstar. She had to 'prove a point'? Prove what point? They should be grateful that Snowpatch is alive, not holding her like a prisoner. He debated in his head, finally deciding to go over.
"Nightstar! What are you doing? This is Snowpatch, a cat of our clan who was lost and is now found. We have no reason to treat her like a prisoner. She was a noble deputy, one who I would give up my place for, just so she could get her rightful place back," he told her, unsure of what to do but knowing that the damage was done. So he continued," This cat has done nothing wrong, she has been lost and is hungry and tired. And you dare to insult her like this? I do not know your exact motivation, but I fear you are acting out of want. This is not justified. I mean no disrespect to you, but I cannot allow you to treat Snowpatch this way and do nothing about it." With that he was done.
He padded away, slightly fearful, but knowing he fought for what was right. He just hoped he didn't get his ear clawed off.

Words: 260
She lsitened to what Snowptahc had said, and took her words to heart. She just stared at Snowpatch, and seemed to ignore her words, until her deputy spoke up. She whipped her black head around, and padded over to him. Her air seemed to make her larger than him, even though she really wasn't. Her eyes blazed with apparent fury. Her voice was low, and only Winterwind could hear. "And I would gladly let her take your place. All of you are opposing me, when I'm trying to show her something. Why can't you all keep you maws shut and just let me do what I seek to accomplish?" In the leader's tone was a warning. Winerwind had eer been an exceptional cat to be deputy, but no one alse was good enough or qualified for the job. If he put one pawstep out of line by questioning his leader again, he would be replaced.
She turned to Snowpatch, and the fury in her eyes disappeared. She softly padded over to the cat sh had always admired, and snapped at the cats gethering around them. "Be gone! This is a matter for Snowptach and myself, not the Clan." Her eyes turned back to Snowpatch wehn everyone had backed up and were minding their own business. She sat down, and invited Snowpatch to do so. "Snowpatch, please, lie down beside me. Let us share tongues, groom each other. You've been lost for a long time, and I'm sure you've missed clan life...well, certain parts at least."

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=12B076] Kit;; Hollythorn the happyish Words;; 143 Notes;; Hollythorn recognises her mentor.
Was Nightstar mad? If she turned this strong warrior away from Windclan, Starclan may curse them. She took a deep breath as Nightstar turned and spoke low to the deputy. Shaking her head, she turned to Snowpatch.
"I'm glad you're back Snowpatch." She mewled, licking her old mentor. "I know you never did want me as your apprentice. I know you never wanted my family in Windclan. I'm glad you said that. Sometimes... Windclan just feels like a kittypet clan..." Hollythorn said, lowering her head.
"There are still some clan blood warriors, like Goldclaw. He's nearly and elder now, but he's still young enough to father full clan kits." What was she saying? Why would Snowpatch want kits? Hollythorn turned away. She needed to go hunting; she'd take Orangesky with her.

Snowpatch's whiskers twitched as she focused on Winterwind, and she made a mental note of the fact he was deputy. Her yellow eyes didn't linger long, but she gave a shimmer of appreciation in them and looked back away to Nightstar, the only cat she was truely interested in.
There was some change in her gaze, as the leader changed her glare from her deputy to herself... And it was almost... softening? She blinked at her, before she noticed Hollythorn. Smiling at the full grown shecat who was supposed to mentor so long ago.
Appreciating the lick to her ear, she returned the gesture. "Thank you," She didn't know what Holly's warrior name was... so she didn't say much else. Her throat hurt anyway. She sighed, thinking about Goldclaw. She didn't even know if she was in any condition to have kits. Kits brought back moments of her own weakness anyway...
She nudged the bright, orange she-cat away with her shoulder. "We'll talk later." She had wanted to raise Hollythorn to be a good warrior... Who had trained her while she was away? Her ears twitched, and she settled down next to Nightstar.
Her intentions she kept to herself, as she nodded, obliging to the offer of sharing tongues. She was a mess anyway, she thought to herself... Though she had tried to clean up herself. Her ears twitched and she ran her pink tongue over Nightstar's pelt, her neck fur prickling slightly before relaxing again. Her intentions...
"I have," she huffed quietly, pausing and letting herself relax. She was a clancat once more.

Between licks, the leader talked. "Tell me Snowpatch. What was one of your biggest pet peeves when my mother was leader, and what's your biggest pet peeve is now." She wanted to know everthing Snowpatch thought, what every hair on her pelt looked like. She wanted Snowpatch as deputy, but Winterwind had to do something first.
"I want to make one thing clear. Right now it may not seem as if I want you in the clan, but truthfully I do. My leader position should have been yours, but somehow you got lost in the mountains and my mother chose me as deputy. At first I dind't want, and I still really don't want it. Yes, it led me to rid the clans of Crueleye, but still..." She stopped licking Snowpatch and gave a hard glare to a curious apprentice who quickly pattered off. "I rememeber being tht way." She turned her head back to Snowpatch and continued to share tongues.

"Crueleye... You-" she stopped herself. Did that mean? Of course it did... How would any cat so hated as him stay alive much longer? ...Also, she wanted to know how Twilightstar died... But her ears twitched and she groomed the black cat back, disliking how Nightstar wanted to know so much about her... so soon.
"I'm sorry," she mewed softly, "My throat is sore, allow me to save my voice." Her tail twitched, though she tried not to show her distrust too much. She smoothed out a patch of fur on her leader's shoulder, thinking over what Nightstar had told her.
She didn't want to be a leader. What kind of warrior didn't want to be a leader? Every clan cat- any TRUE clan cat wanted to be the best warrior they could be. They wanted to be able to be the best for their clan, they wanted to... To lead. Every kit dreamed of it. This half-clan cat... She, she, Nightstar, didn't want the responsiblity.
She was a soft-pawed, spoiled little kitten, wasn't she? She held her tongue, but carefully noticed the little twitches of Nightstar's character. She already knew that the clan respected her more. A cat who had been abandonned without so much of a thought... She wondered, absently, why they admired her so much? She didn't think of the reasons why: that would only make her cocky.
Instead, her thoughts lingered towards her intentions. The ones she dared not show in any single action. "I will answer you soon... but could you tell me of what has happened to my clan in my absence?"

Nightstar noidded, and continued to lick and talk. "Well, shortly after mother pronounced you dead, Crueleye found her, and murdered her. Ripped her body to pieces. Made it hard to bury her, it did. So, I went to the Moonpool, and received my nine lives. As I came home, Crueleye attacked me as well. I engaged the monster in battle, and I was succesful. So, I came home to WindClan. I had always wanted to be the best warrior I could in my ability. But I knew some cats in the clan hated me for what my blood contained. So, I wasn't to keen when my mother gave me the deputy position. I didn't want the clan to fall apart if I couldn't handle what some cats had to say, and what some might do. So, as I came back home, Crueleye's lone green eye in my maw, I told them what had transpired, and I pronounced Gladefeet as my deputy. She came to me, mentioning something of not wanting the job. So, I chose Winterwind. He wasn't the best cat for the job, but he's done well enough." She talked all the while licking Snowpatch's fur. "Hidepaw, Daisypaw, and Flowerpaw have become warriors. Now Hidesong, Daisydawn, and Flowerclaw. Hollypaw, Orangepaw, and Spotepaw have also earned their warrior names. Hollythorn, Orangesky, and Spotleg. Leafsing has found her an apprentice, Cloudpaw. Very promising, that one..." the black leader trailed off, licking Snowpatch's fur. "Hold on." she meowed, and got up. She poadded to Leafsong's medicine supplies and came out withe a ball of moss with some honey. She laid it in front of the returned warrior, and laid back down. "Your voice is sounding raspy. No doubt some honey will help soothe that sore throat of yours."

Snowpatch's whiskers twitched, listening. Crueleye did what the she-cat had once dreamed of doing... Her gaze softened, fogging with fresh emotion. Twilightstar was always such a... Well, Snowpatch liked her, in an odd way, but she was foolish... Crueleye being dead still left a numbing hole in her heart, though. She tried her hardest not to show it as Nightstar went on to explain the going ons after her death, and picking deputy, then some new warriors...
There was a pause in her speech, and she stood up, and tromped off. Coming back with honey, Snowpatch's golden eyes widened. She hadn't had honey since she was a tiny, tiny kit. Licking it up, she gave a light purr, enjoying the soothing on her tongue and throat. She paused after a few licks of the honey, and nervously glanced at Nightstar. "Are you sure it's right to take medicine supplies-" She was the leader, who was she kidding? But still... "Honey is rare, at any rate..." There wasn't that many bees, honestly, in the moors.
"...But, Starclan praise you," she smiled, a bit toothy of a smile at the leader, and licked down every scrap of honey there, enjoying the sweet tang. She still had yet to eat properly, and also hunt. This gave her a bit of strength to go with the soothing, it did... She purred roughly, and went back to grooming Nightstar.
Clearing her throat, she finally gave an answer, before Nightstar asked again, "When Twilightstar was leader, many things bothered me. Ahh, Twilightclan..." She murmered, purring softly in her own amusement. "Being ignored... the rogues." Her ears twitched. "And still, I would think, being ignored. Not that it seems to be happening at all anymore..." She found this to be a good thing.
