[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=47e32d] Kit - Dustpaw the excited Words - 199 BLAH Muse - Meh Notes - Who's this funny she-cat? I've never seen her before... I WANNA MAKE FRIENDS
Dustpaw left her brother with the other apprentices, trotting towards Swirlpaw. She kept her ears back, she was so timid, was Dustpaw. She coughed a little, waving her tail at Swirlpaw.
"Hiya!" Dustpaw grinned eagerly. "My name's Dustpaw! What's yours?" She asked sitting down on her tail, keeping it warm. She had completely ignored the deputy and second warrior who were up on the rocks, she was more interested in making lots and lots of friends.
"I'm from Shadowclan, you sorta smell like Thunderclan, you smell a little different from them though! My daddy is Crowstar did you know?" Dustpaw was eagerly trying hard to make this other cat her friend, she needed them, she was so quiet and needed the confidence.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=6293E0] Cat~ SWIRLPAWWWWWW Wordcount~ 294 Notes~ Hey Shadowyclanette <:<:<:<: A weird, almost dirty-smelling cat trotted right on up to her while she stared wide eyed up at the Great Rock. She nearly jumped out of her white-striped fur, and her big eyes stared at the ginger she-cat like she had two heads. Actually, that would have been quite cool. Because this she cat had really pretty, shining green eyes that shimmered under the moonlight with excitement.
Her name was Dustpaw, and she was from Shadowclan. She seemed just as excited as Swirlpaw was. The white Thunderclan she-cat wriggled with excitement, a grin wide on her face as well. "My name's Swirlpaw!" She mewled, her ears flicking widely as she tried to listen. Her voice was quiet and meek, but overflowing with energy. "I'm from Thunderclan, and so was my daddy. I think." Her whiskers twitched timidly- she didn't have a leader as a father, she was pretty sure. Unless he died, but she doubted that her father would die just like that.
"My momma was a kittypet though," she whispered even quieter. She wasn't afraid of being picked on or mocked for her heritage, no sir-y. But she could bet that her fur still had that smell of twolegs. She knew very well she wasn't like Thunderclan born cats. And they didn't like her saying she was a kittypet once. That's why she whispered- because her clan didn't like her sharing it. At least, she thought they didn't. Her ears twitched.
There was a short pause though, where her blue eyes pulled away and she looked around wildly for the other she-cat's father. Why, there was no Crowstar here. That was... odd. "Where is Crowstaaaaaar, anyhoo?" |

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=47e32d] Kit - Dustpaw the excited Words - 165 Muse - Meh Notes - YAY A FRIEND
Dustpaw smiled at Swirlpaw. She could hear what she said, but that didn't make Dustpaw feel any different. "My Daddy is still very sick... But my mentor Drydusk is leading the clan for today, hopefully Daddy will get better enough for all the mentors and their apprentices to go out and we can have a big training day!"
Dustpaw smiled, and Grethpaw appeared over her shoulder, making ti look like she had two heads. Grethpaw grinned and Swirlpaw.
"Hiya! I'm Grethpaw!" He grinned almost manically. Dustpaw would have pushed him over, but she was in the wrong position.
"This," Dustpaw said, her head tilting towards Grethpaw. "Is my brother." She huffed playfully as Grethpaw laughed.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=6293E0] Cat~ SWIRLPAWWWWWW Wordcount~ 278 Notes~ lol fail muse. "Oh, I'm sorry he's sick. Patchstar was sick too, he's getting better though, I think," she mewled a bit timidly. Seeing her brother pop out behind her made her grin though. "Hey Grethpaw!" Her tail swished back and forth, these cats seemed really nice for cats. And she thought she heard that Shadowclan cats were sneaky and evil. Hah, her mother must have been wrong. These two seemed like butterflies next to Riverclan. Her skin crawled, like little ticks had gotten under her pelt.
"Don't you love Gatherings? It's so... magical... Like, doesn't it feel like, with the moon over head, that all of the warriors ever born in the forest are staring down at us, proud that we're still strong?" A purr rose up in her throat, her tail curling around her paws, staring with wide eyes up at the sky in drop dead amazement.
There was a flick of a paw cuffing over her ear. Swirlpaw glanced sideways to see Lionfur with a half-frown on his face. "Hush now. We don't want to be disrespectful at the gathering." His yellow eyes glanced over with a coldness that the little apprentice had never seen in the calm, cool warrior before.
He blinked and nodded with a smile at the younger apprentices, probably noting that this was their first gathering. Hyper active fluffballs, was probably his thoughts. "We have to listen to the leaders." There was a certain blandness to his tone. Like the word "leader" wasn't even really a term. Swirlpaw tilted her head, but glanced at Dustpaw and gave a shrug as best an apprentice could.

Kitten: Twilightstar Who: Everyone... it's a gathering!! Words: 398 Notes: Hm. I don't care what you think of me. I'm the only leader well enough to be here. Plus, I don't have a meddi cat nagging me to stay behind. *sticks tongue out*
Twilightstar's grey pelt had rippled into the shadows behind the other cats on the great rock as they spoke. When they were finished, it was her turn to speak. She stood, and stepped forward slowly, proudly, gallantly, almost thingyy. Whe she reached the edge, she kept a proud figure, her scar glaring a purple and silver color in the moonlight. Her blue eyes looked almost transparent in the moonlight, and her grey pelt shimmered a light, almost white silver, while her almost black stripes were stark and darker than regular black. When she spoke, her voice carried. "I am glad that all your clans are doing well, so with what we hear. But, We were all hit hard. When I returned to my Clan after giving Crowstar a message, I returned to an abandoned camp. I looked in the medicine cat den, wondering where everyone was. Than I saw them. There was Melodysong, with her mate, Skyblaze, and their kits. There was Echosong and her litter. As well as my two sons. My daughter was no where to be found. These cat were all dead, because of this sickness. Over half my clan had died. A warrior came and retrieved me and showed me the new camp Wingsky had gone to in my leave. My daughter, who received her apprentice name, Sanctuarypaw, a few days later, was there. Goldenmoon, our medicine cat, was no where at all. Her apprentice was there, though. I found a couple of rogue she-cats who had kits, but no shelter to care for them. I brought them in, and they are Silvertongue and Leafsong. They have brough many healthy kits to the clan, and they have replenished it. But, when Silvertongue gave birth in our camp, Silentpaw said he had the sickness and he ran off, and died. We buried his body after we held the silent vigil. His mentor, Goldenmoon has yet to be found. I suspect she is in her inner den at the old camp, dead, along with the others. I plan to go to the old camp in a few days, as soon as possible, and clear it out, holding vigil for the dead, and give them a proper burial." She swished her tail as her blue eys took on a moment of sadness and grief. "In better news, Gladepaw is soon to receive her warrior name."

I gotta get me back - I can't be beat and that's a fact It's OK - I'll find a way You ain't gonna take me down no way Don't judge a thing until you know what's inside it
Word Count: 720 Cat: Drydusk the Leader Notes: everything is hard, everything sucks and GAHH X__X Stop telling me what to do mentally Shadewing. o< I'm SMARTERER than j00.
Drydusk listened. He listened quietly, he listened well. His ears perked, and he stood strong near the Senior warrior, Deputy, and Leader of the other clans. Stormeyes spoke after Twilightstar called the clans to listen. Patchstar was sick, and Stormeyes didn't appreciate getting told by Twilightstar. It was true, he was older. Wasn't even a Leader to respect elders? Maybe Stormeyes wasn't that old, but... He waited silently as Milkydew spoke next. Drowningstar was also sick, but the deputy declared that soon Riverclan would be strong again. It was a good thing that they were so far from the other clan. Then again, Milkydew could be lying. It wasn't like every clan was trying to appear strong.
His ears twitched as he glanced over his brother, who was giving him the "if you mess up so help you Starclan" look, to where his apprentice was murming to some... Wait, was that Swirlpaw? The little kittypet apprentice? Hmph, figured. He blinked, as a ginger tom batted the ear of Swirlpaw and they fell silent. Twilightstar had started on her news. She spoke of the news that she shared with Crowstar- figured, she had probably made HIS clan sick from it. It was unlikely, but he wouldn't be reluctant to agree with someone with more support behind the idea. She spoke about who was sick and dying and missing, and finished up with Gladepaw aboutto become an apprentice. He could have pulled off a better speech... In fact, he was about to.
His tail swishing, he nodded to Twilightstar, and stepped forward, his head high, his legs squared in a way to make himself look his full, strong size. His brother may have been bigger, but he wasn't tiny- just not big and bulky. Lean, and he could make himself seem strong if he tried. His blue eyes searched over the clans, staying on his brother for a second- before gazing around the other clans. He took a breath, feeling the cool, crisp air flow into his lungs and give him a dizzying strength. The moonlight shined down on everyone, and he felt as if all of Starclan was with them now, wanting to help them but not knowing how, perhaps.
"Cats of the clan! Sickness has evidently spread through every clan, but as the cats before me said, this does not make us weak. Sickness is something that happens, and they're will be a cure. Until then, I say we look ahead to the future of our clans! This morning, two kits were made into apprentices. Dustpaw and Grethpaw are here with us tonight, following in their father's footsteps, coming as he would have. As you can see, many of our leaders have fallen sick, but our Medicine cat's are wise, and Crowstar choose me to take his place. Blackpelt is also very sick, but our clan is well enough, I'm sure Thunderclan and Windclan," |
[/b] he paused, timidly, glancing back at Twilightstar who had trespassed on their territory without permission before, "has noticed,"[/b] he looked back as he spoke, "that we keep up our boarder patrols like always."[/b] He took a quick, quite breath. "No leafbare is easy. This one has been hard, but Starclan has always guided our pawsteps, haven't they?"[/b] He smiled boldly, his whiskers twitching, and he glanced around to look at Shadewing again, wondering if the tom had any arguements against his... attempt at a moral boost. He knew very well that every clan needed it, even if they were in other clans he didn't care. There were always four clans in the forest, and he would make sure it stayed that way if he could. "...That's all I wanted to say,"[/b] he added, sounding a bit worn out from the energy high that he had felt all evening. He glanced back at the other clan "leaders", some for only a day like him. "I hope the prey runs well for all of you,"[/b] he mewed. He figured that was all they had to say, as he leaped down from the rock.[/color][/td][/tr][/table][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kitten: Twilightstar Who: Blackpaw Words: 160 Notes: My daughter. Haaaa......
After Twilightstar landed gracefully from jumping off the Great Rock once the gathering was over, she went over to Blackpaw after taking a few seconds to spot her. " Blackpaw?" Her voice was soft, that of a shy queen. "Did you want comething earlier?" She swished her til back and forth, waiting for a reply. She sat, wondering, thoughts running througher mind. Does she want anyhting to do with me? Is she coming to WindClan? Will she become a rogue again? Will she stay in ShadowClan? All these thoughts poured into ehr mind at the same time and her eyes flashed, worry, happiness, and then sadness. Then, her eyes returned to curiosity. Her body was cold, so she gave herself a little shake. Her blue eyes scanned the clearing, daring any cat to approach. Her scar glowed in themoonlight as she licked her right front paw and drew it over her ear. She flicked her tail against the ground.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=000000] Blackpaw sat silently next to the Great Rock- perhaps a foxlength away so she wasn't sticking out like a little black ball- during the whole Gathering, watching the bickering and feeling the anger and sadness flood through the pawful of cats. There was loss and annoyance... And pride from Drydusk. She flicked her ears, and waited silently for everyone to be finished so she could talk to her Windclan mother.
The she-cat queen darted down off of her rock, her pretty eyes sparkling. Blackpaw's ears felt hot, and her tail tip twitched as she smiled. She still felt like everyone watched her like she was the sweetest little kit in the world. She /was/ growing up. Just because Crowstar was too sick to train. She pushed the thought away. Just because that wouldn't happen in Windclan because Twilightstar wasn't being held back by any Medicine cats. She felt a painful sting in her heart, as she rememebered that Midnightmoon died. He was one of her fathers. He... She loved him.
"Twilightstar," she whispered in her wise, knowing voice, feeling the anxiousness and fear and excitement in the Leader's pelt. She could even see it in her sky-colored eyes. Twilight's gaze flickered dangerously around the camp, and suddenly she realized how protective her mother still was of her. She looked around and caught Sandfire's gaze. It was defensive, as she stood staring warily at her daughter. Blackpaw understood that she shouldn't linger her for too long.
She sighed, and stood up, rubbing her cheek past her Windclan protector's shoulder. "Tomorrow, I'm sneaking out to meet you. We can talk then. I love you." She stepped away, her ears haunted by the furious echo of Crowstar, 'You are not to speak with your 'mother' unless we are at a clan meeting. You know where your loyalties lie', he said. She wasn't planning on leaving Shadowclan any time soon, she couldn't... But then again, she knew where her loyalties lay. They laid with her heart, and so far she didn't she or understand why she couldn't have two paws in each world. Her ears flicked, and she stood up. |
