[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=cb8622] Kit - Amber the confused 'Where is this Marsh scary cat spoke of?' Words - 478 Muse - Good to Great Notes - Hehe, I'm here! Well... Big scary cat said this would be a marsh. Doesn't look or feel very marshy to me... I'm confused. Time - Night
Amber had walked all night and all day. Now she was tired. But what the black and white cat said confused her. This place wasn't marsh. It was moorland. Amber was confused greatly, and lost. She sat down, and wailed. Tiger would have gone to her house, and she wouldn't be there, then he'd be worried and come and possibly get hit by those things that ran on the greystripe.
Then Amber would have no family. But maybe, just maybe, her parents were in one of these groups of cats. Maybe... Amber thought, looking up into the sky. The stars twinkled down gently to her, and she smiled, tilting her head to the side.
She was tired, but she didn't want to sleep here, it smelt of bagders. And badgers were bad for cats. She heard something rustle behind her. She opened her mouth; Mouse. She stalked down low, smelling every few seconds. The mouse was close, she leapt on it, and killed it.
She had found it. Her instinct, her ancestry. She was a cat of these groups. Not a soft kittypet. When she was small, her and her brother would be Amberleaf and Tigerpelt, forever exploring and defeating the evil that lay within the forests beyon their home.
Amber smiled, remembering those days, oh those carefree days. She lay down, chewing on her fresh kill. It was amzing. The flavours that rushed into her mouth, full of life, and errors, and struggles, all downed in one bite.
Much better than the foul tasting mush she would get at home. She thought back to Tiger. He'd be worried for her, he really would. But maybe he'd meet a cat, and maybe, just maybe, he'd come join the same group as Amber.
Amber stood up. She needed to move some more, find a group of cats. What would happen if they were hostile? Would they kill her? She was only a kit though, maybe they treated kits differently.
Amber yawned loudly, but she refused to sleep. She headed a few steps before her legs gave up, and she lay down on her back, looking at the same stars she had been looking at the other night.
They looked prettier here, much more sparkly, and of great importance. Amber yawned, and curled up, grabbing her tail, and trying to sleep.
