SahdowClan - Thunderpath
(Sandfire)
The rogue had been scented by Crowstar- so surely Twilightstar would have noticed. He had managed to stay downwind as much as he could- but when she had turned around he couldn't manage to avoid her by the time he made it to the Thunderpath boarder.
"Foxdung," he hissed a bit, feeling a bit unnerved knowing that- from the way Twilightstar's behavor changed rather suddenly, he had been caught. He wasn't very good at hiding.
((oh it's Whisper by the way. I don't think I ever made up a pelt color for him. Looking for it now.))

As she rounded the bend to the thunderpath, she stopped, sat down, and yawned. "You cancome out now, if you don't mind. I can smell you and hear your ambling around in there."
She flicked her tail and looked around her, waiting for the rogue to show himself.

His pawsteps were silent as he moved out and closer to the Thunderpath and off the slushy, reed filled marsh- he was always ever so silent... Except when he was in a terrain he didn't know. "Hello, Twilightstar," he mewed as loud as he dared- barely a whisper, mind, but that was just how he talked.
His whiskers twitched with worry but he held his head high. He was smaller than even the pretty she-cat leader. "What are you doing out here?" He wanted to know so badly. She was risking her kits- and from what he could tell [he dared not get too close when Twilightstar met up with Crowstar and the others to find out] it was merely to argue.

"I might ask the same as you, rogue. By the way, how do you know me? And who are you>" Her blue eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Do you know what transpired back there?" She gotup and took a step towards the rogue. "I'm already in a abad mood, so you better answer my questions fast and good, otherwise ShadowClan won't have to deal with you."

She had threatened him. Oh rats. Rats rats rats. His ears flicked back for a moment as he coiled backwards, trying to appear a heck of a lot less intimidating. "My name is Whisper," he mewed, keeping his voice as loud as he was used to speaking. He would answer everything she had to ask him, as it seemed there was no point in lying.
"I'm from Fireclan. I... I've been watching you, Twilightstar. Your kits... Their safety is important to me- since they're my Deputy's kits as well." It was dangerous, he knew, to talk about his clan to this leader. She would tell many, many other cats. Maybe they would try and attack and destroy his clan. He hoped not.
He took a silent, short breath. "I did not hear enough. I'm not good with the squishy land. I make too much noise. I was not supposed to be caught." He smiled a little, his tail curling around his left hindleg as it always did when he got a bit worried. But he was being honest. The fair she-cat would have to respect that. Right?

"Her eyes narrowed even more. "You can speak freely of FireClan with me, Whisper. So far, the only one of Hawkeye's, your deputy's, litter is going to be my daughter, Sanctuarykit. He may not have her. The other two are dieing of sickness, and the fourth died right after birth. " She drew back, calming herself.
"Well, you certainly did get caught. Why were you sent to watch me? Does your deputy think I or my kits need protecting?"

The tom smiled a bit more, relaxing a bit. Yes, just keep being honest. Twilightstar was a reasonable she-cat. Certainly. "It's unfortunate that your kits are doing so horribly. Maybe the upwalkers..." He stopped for a moment and shook his head. "No, you don't like them. Forest cats don't trust them." He frowned, and then looked towards the Thunderpath as a monster started to come closer.
Whisper waited for it to pass with a roar. He didn't even flinch or move away from the loud sound, easily used to it with his city life. "Actually," he stated, drawing a breath. "I wasn't sent. I came to watch you of my own choice. I believe you can handle taking care of your own kits... The only question is if this sickness will interfere with the plans of Fireclan."
His pelt shook. "I do wish best for your clan," he mewed. "I... I haven't encountered this sickness yet. Some of our queens are suffering though. We aren't exactly the... Greatest clan. We live on the upwalkers territory, you see. With any luck, though... With any luck, that will change..." His voice had drifted off to that breathing-speak that made him nearly impossible to hear by the time he finished speaking.

Her eyes narrowed at Whisper's last comment, and sudden;y realized. Her eyes flashed in anger and fear. "Fireclan plans to take over the forest, don't they? And your deputy wants kits in every clan to help him do it. MY kits, clan, and forest are in danger..." She trailed off, She took a few steps towrds whisper, and hissed low, her tone menacing. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn' kill you right now, you peice of foxdung." Her tail lashed back and forth, and her gray tabby fur bristled.

Lillith hung back, watching Whisper converse with Twilightstar.
"Whisper, what are you doing?" She hissed, a little too loud for her liking. Littlepaw shushed her, but Twilightstar was sure to hear and smell the three she-cats.

"What? No- no!" Whisper mewled timidly, his ears flicking back. "Oh no, no..." He shook his head furiously, making as much sound as his hushed no's could make. Whisper was a smart cat- and half of him didn't want her to have her kits... Kit take over all of the forest under the rule of Fireclan with the other kits. But another part of him was so very terrified of death and of what would happen to her if his clan- no, just the deputy and leader- found out.
The hiss from behind him didn't startle him. It worried him, but he didn't show that fear with extreme effort. "Twilightstar, I... I don't want to take over all the clans," he tried to grasp at an answer that would appease her. And with any luck, keep her distracted from the she-cats behind him. If anything happened to them, to the she-cats of his clan... He would fight the Windclan leader to keep them safe. Besides, wasn't he a traitor already any way? That thought unnerved him. He hadn't meant for her to discover that plan. He hadn't.
His eyes narrowed and he stiffened, raising himself from his huddled position to stand as tall as he could- still smaller than the Windclan leader by a whole mouse length, not minding the tail. "Twilightstar, I mean you and your clan no harm, for prey's sake! Honestly..." It was all he ever was, honest. Nice, kind sweet... He didn't want to die. He wanted to serve his clan and be a great warrior. His tail lashed furiously-half motioning the she-cats to leave before anything happened and half out of a near to look stronger, his narrowed eyes still filled with a desperate plea.

Twilightstar looked Whisper in the eys. She flicked her tail back and forth as she sat down, and curled her tail around her paws. "Do not worry for the she-cats. I would never attack another she-cat just because she was a part of something she nver wanted to be in the first place. Plus, I can smell kits on them. I just want to know the plan. I've been honest to you in return for being honest to me. Now, do you really want me to start lying just because you, as a rogue, stopped telling the truth?"

"Stopped telling the truth?" Whisper asked, sounding breathless. He had not said a single lie to her. He did not want to see this happen to Twilightstar or Lillith or any she-cat. He did not wish for anything of that nature. But he wasn't going to betray his clan. He would be honest and then be silent.
He relaxed slight as she did, all though he was still very worried. This was another clan leader, he knew, and a queen at that. His whiskers twitched. "I won't tell you our clans intentions. Only that you may just be right, Twilightstar. I hope the prey runs well for you," he frowned a bit, feeling bad. He was a good cat, he would be honest all he could. But he wasn't born to be a forest cat, and he had no other home but Fireclan. It was hard enough on him with that.
His head turned over his shoulder to look back and gesture his fellow clanmates- even if they were just a band of rogues he wouldn't dare ever believe it- forward. If the leader of Windclan meant truly meant no harm, then he would do well to have them meet each other. It was only proper, right?

Twilightstar nodded, calm again. Loayal cat Whisper was. As he beckoned the she-cats forward, a thought struck her. "Do your she-cats need help? If so, I will take them with me to my clan. ur medicine cat will help them with herbs, and the whole clan will take care of them food and protection wise."
"If they want to, they will have to follow me. My clan needs me. I feel it." With that, the leader bounded to the side of the Thunderpath, and squatted. She swished her tail back and forth as the monsters raced by. When there was a pause, she bounded across, the scar on her righ side pink against her gray fur.

Lillith watched Twilightstar go.
"Whisper... Come on... I don't want to be near Crueleye anymore..." She mumbled, staring at the floor.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=3D4353]Cat: Whisper Notes: REMEMBER THE RULES GUYS UGH -eats you all- ;__;
Whisper's eyes stared blankly after Twilightstar- the pale silver shecat with the dark markings... The leader who once... Once... was the queen of four kits. He could feel the sickness pressing in from all around him now, but he didn't like to show that he knew about it. He liked to pretend he had stayed far enough away- but he had such keen senses he could tell from so far away. Twilightstar even had the lightest of scent of sickness- from the little "Blackpaw" he assumed. He hadn't seen the cat, but she probably had black on her. He could find her later, probably. She was young, and only had a little sickness. Not the nastiest one spreading around right now.
His mind traveled very far in a few seconds, carrying him across the moors after her, but he did not move. When Lillith spoke- he turned his head, opening one eye just a bit more in a mock eyebrow raise- he had very little of an eyebrow to raise. It wasn't a questioning look, or even a suspicious look. It was more of a, 'why are you waiting for me?' He rose to his feet though- he was smaller than poor Lillith- he was smaller than them all. But he could hide, and race through alleys, and be a great clan cat. No one had better say otherwise. He would hate to know that no one actually thought of him as useful. His whiskers twitched.
"Okay," he mewed, turning his head back in the direction of Twilightstar. "It'll be dangerous- maybe even more so- out here, you know?" He warned slightly, padding forward onto Windclan territory, his half tail swishing back and forth as he did, trying to hide his fears. Crueleye was dangerous- but he was a clanmate! Their deputy... Surely he could be trusted! Surely... Surely this wasn't the way to do this. Surely.
